8:40 These boots are designed this way on purpose. Follow me here, your foot with arch support is much shorter in length than it would be standing flat on the floor. If you are a size 11 standing flat on a brannock device, you are probably a size 10 in boots with high arch support. So why the hell is there so much room in the front of the boot? The reason is because the insole of the boots is leather, and the arch support is leather, and once broken in it will collapse to an extent and your foot will go further into the boot, which is fine because right now there is too much space in there because they DESIGNED it knowing this will happen.
That color you have there really is the most gorgeous. I put in my order yesterday and wanted them fast(er), so I just got the stock one. Supposed to be here within 6 weeks. Black 67 BuilderPro with a size 6.5B for my smaller female foot. Going to be CUUUUUTE!
Waiting on my Urban Loggers. My Builder Pro’s took a solid two weeks to start feeling comfortable. Now, 5 months later, I love putting them on. Soooo comfy!
I got the same boot but with the Honey Vibram Sole and eyelets all the way up. It took three months to break in and after 6 months they are truly like a glove. I can feel the footprint in the boot. I also flew out to Spokane and was helped by the salesman Lucas. I have two different size feet and needed to be properly fitted. Enjoy your boots.
The stitching goes through the sole on 3/4 inch thick soles and not the 1 inch soles. When the stitching goes through the sole it swells at each contact point. So when you wear through the stitching over the lugs it doesnt diminish the strength of where the thread goes through. Really helps the sole from separating with a stitched through sole. Great video man!
I have a pair of 6 inch Urban Loggers in British Tan . They are the best boots I've ever had . It does take quite a while to break in the boots , but so worth it . By the way your boots look awesome .
@@CACTICALMAIN That's good to hear. I have a pair of 1694 brown with a wedge sole for work, but I'm really digging the brown waxed flesh and the stacked leather heel.
Damn! Lmao i ordered a 8 inch urban logger in brown waxed flesh literally exactly like yours and they made my try on pair a 11.5C as well. I had them bump it up to a D tho
9 weeks, it was the ranger not the roberts like i messed up and said in video. Total 15 weeks for a 5 day build. But now that i have em totally worth the wait
They actually sized me in a size i have never tried. For my entire life ive gotten 11d or 10.5d shoes and boots. They sized me at 11.5c. They did feel big when i first got them, but now that they are breaking in they feel correct.
