Nicky Hayden briefly leads Springfield Mile, finishes 4th 

Nicky Hayden got a taste of the elusive Mile win he needs to complete the Grand Slam, as he briefly leads late in the race at the Springfield Mile in 2002. But in the end, it was Chris Carr taking the win, with Nicky finishing 4th.
