Felipe Andrew was awesome in this tournament and to me was the biggest surprise besides how good Andrew Tackett looked. I went from rooting for kirkvliet to maul him in the opening round to hoping he pulled off the upset in the finals. It was awesome to see a 80+ actually go for exciting offense. Hopefully he gets some more no gi opportunities from here on

That was an epic callout, and what a run he's been on !! Grappling has never been thid exciting.

Seeing him finally celebrate after being so stoic in the previous brackets is so hype. It’s like he had the final victory envisioned and then living in the moment that it finally manifested. The amount of money is life changing and you can tell he senses that, life pre and post CJI. Congrats Nicky Rod!!!

Two things that stood out. 1: Felipe is was bigger than I thought he was. 2: I’m not sure if this match would have happened anywhere else other than CGI since Felipe is predominately a gi competitor. Awesome matchup and great performances by both guys!

If you sit and butt scoot or pull guard your opponent will receive points for the takedown) (KR = 3 AT = 1) 4 Points - Mount (Front or back, must have at least one hook in) (KR = 0 AT = 3) 4 Points - Escape from submission attempt and get back to feet (KR = 1 AT = 3) 4 Points - Reverse position from bottom to top (KR = 1 AT = 1) 1 Point - Pin (For every 10 seconds you're grounded your opponent will receive 1 point, this timer will restart during close submission attempts or when in 50/50 positions.(KR = 25 AT = 16) Can everyone let me know if you approve or disapprove of this scoring system.
