I agree. The only MCU show I hated was The Inhumans. That was a waste of a show. The only thing that show had any connection to the MCU was terigenesis. Other than that you really don't need to watch it.
7:44 that's a double nod not only is the voice actress the same actress who portrayed her in the show when she worked alongside the actor who portrayed Alex in the show is the voice of Camilo in Encanto that line is a shout out of course we all know his famous verse from the well-known song
From everything I could find, this games lines were recorded before Encanto came out. It's actually mainly a reference to the fact that unlike the show, Alex is a supervillain in the comics who betrayed the team and tried to kill all of them except for Nico, who he was in love with. Since this game mostly refers to comic lore, it's safe to say he was evil in this universe and Nico is referring to his betrayal here.
It's interesting that this is the comic version of the Runaways and not the show. The comic was a lot darker and I felt the show developed the characters a bit better
So it takes place after Gert dies but before Rainbow Rowell’s Runaways run. Probably before the A-Force? But Molly never goes to Xavier’s school in the comics.
In the comics, Alex did die after he betrayed the Runaways. That was in the original 18 issue run (Vol 1). And Karolina did leave briefly in Vol 2 to marry Xavin, though they didn’t end up getting married because a battle broke out (again) between their two planets. Karolina and Xavin came back to Earth and eventually broke up.
It would be cool is bill roseman can do marvel the runaways video game in the future that would be awesome and have Lyrica Okano as nico back because she a badass hero in the mcu please do that would be a dream come true and maybe marvel hit monkey game would hit different 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎
