i saw them in 2014 at Reading festival in the uk... there were 200 bands on the weekend. i saw 31 others, but NV seemed the most genuine and greatful for all of it. i miss them lots...
I just realized something between this song and the other song of hers called "Easier." Remember that line from Easier when she sings, "I've seen the way that you dig when you're in your head. Somebody should tell you if you dig then you'll end up dead." Then look at the sequence of this video from 2:40 to 3:32... she looks kinda 'dead' because she dug. Interesting connection.
Love it! uploaded in 2009 and I'm only hearing this band now? Fantastic, good strong female vocalist, so refreshing compared to what is plastered on our minds daily. Please dont lose the grittiness!
I wsa fortunate enough to have been on tour w/ Chevelle and these guys opened up fpr them a few shows and kicked ass , my new favorite band to jam out to...
My aunt introduced this band to me yesterday and I can't stop listening to them now. She (my aunt) showed me a video that she shot of them when she went to their condert recently, and I was blown away. They have great energy.
They are just so different, which is good, like going from blues, medicine man or iron man, to pure rock, fury oh fury or beast, and also rocks when they turn to acoustics. Just pure greatness from them.
...Glad You Finally Made A Studio Video For This HoT Song...Very Good...But There Is Still A Lot To Be Said For The Passion Of The Live Version...KUDOS-2U-ALL!
After listening to the song and watching the video (A lot I might add), the mix used in this video is different from the album version. The video version sounds more raw and the album version has backing vocals in the 2nd and 3rd chorus.
i love her energy when she sings. she's quite passionate about it all. that is such a rare thing on female singers these days i love it when she goes berserk
whether you were introduced through bioshock or had been a fan of old or new as long as you were "introduced" the them thats all that matters cause they're awesome, I'm just glad i got the chance to see em live :] and became a instant fan.
I just recently discovered them, and I have to say, they're incredible. I wish they were more well known so it'd be easier to accessing and finding their music online.
I'm gonna drive off naked with the top down even if i don't make it to the next town. I'm gonna sleep on the ground tonight cus i don't need a damn bed to survive on. sickest lyrics
Yes, Infinite introduced me to Nico Vega, just like Alan Wake introduced me to Poets of the Fall. I wish more game developers would work with bands like this. It has opened me to music I might not otherwise have heard.
I just found these guys today via loong gluetube session involving bioshock infinite amongst other things, I'd have said from Beast that she reminds me of Joan Jett but I love the bluesrock mix they have here, I'm thinking more research is in order but Nico are definitely on my list of favourite bands now
The lead singer sounds like a clean non alcoholic skinny beautiful modern day Janis Joplin. She's very easy on the eyes and I love her style. But most of all I love the band as a whole you guys are fucking awesome keep up the great work. Peace
Everyone talks about games (or commercials) being gateways to music like it's almost a bad thing. The first Tony Hawk game is the first game I remember having whole, music industry produced songs and it shaped the musical palate most of my friends and I grew up on. Finding music you like through ANY media outlet glorifies the artists just as much as if you accidentally picked up Billy Talent when you were shopping for Green Day
