And it’s like really close to be chronic. they may be good but, what can we do with a midfield, that you can not count on cause the chances of them being injured again is really high?
Don't bite my head off but what if....We Play Joao Felix at the 10 or Attacking midfield. I mean his better period at Barca was behind Lewa with Balde overlapping maybe with Nico doing the same and him given that Pedri role with how injury prone he could give us a lot of depth and options off the bench.
We also have Gundogan and Fermin that are better in that role than traditional interiors and if we switch to a 4-2-3-1 we technically don’t have a traditional interior position anyways. We’d have Pedri, Gundogan, Fermin, Joao all for the 10 position. Too many chiefs not enough Indians. Gundogan should be the primary 10 and rotate mostly with the Pedri while giving Fermin minutes and development of the bench. Joao takes those crucial minutes away.
Joao's versatility is very much wanted. His problem is his parent club and the money they want for him. Barca have to SHAFT atm with this deal because they NEVER do us any favors of this kind, lol 😂. But he'd be great in that role, yes.

It's not necessarily how much we have in the club but how much we are allowed to spend, that's FFP. We have a lot of money it's just we aren't allowed to spend as much as we want that's why the club have to get back to the 1:1 rule and also improve the squad maximum wage bill space

In terms of talent, Joao Felix and ansu are very talented however it's more possible to take Felix to his potential if he is played properly but it is way harder for Ansu. I do think that Felix is better than ansu and i would rather keep him but negotiations with atletico may be complicated. I do hope that we at least try our best to keep him in our squad.
I think we should’ve have sold araujo when Bayern was interested with the bid of 100mil. As much as I like him, he’s unprofessionalism towards the club for renewing his contract and to be fair his level has dropped a lot since last season. We could’ve used that money

At this level we need someone that can continue playing at the same level. If you’re a presence and u play like that, u drop the moral of everyone around you and that’s what he did. Kounde, Christensen and even inigo martinez played better than him. In topform he might be our best defender. But he didn’t play consistently. I think mikel Faye will become much better as him, he is fast, he can score goals, and he has a profile similar to him. So even if we sold araujo, I don’t think he would’ve been missed that much, it would have given Faye a place in the team
