Why didn't they net off the river if they thought she was in the river. There's plenty of shallow places where they could have done it. They could have also put a weighted submersible to follow to see where the current carried it. Wow this whole thing has been botched sadly.
Good point hade same tought, wich i could not understand since day 1 when they where so sure she was in the river. Since the river don't have any current to talk about there... who knows.. i don't even police then self k ow what they are doin this time.
There is no evidence one way or the other. The police should have kept all the options open until the found evidence that dismissed all those options bar one.
Paul was leading there investigation - shese vulnerable!!! Thats it they don't proceed with anything else. Eg; forensics - why bother Paul's told us its because shese not well !!!!
@@Onecanx Exactly! And who normally brings up things like that, the guilty ones. I can still see Chris Watt's face, which reminds me of Paul's, telling the cops that his wife took a lot of tablets the past week or so, for migraine. Quick to say, don't look here, look over there. If the cops from the US had to solve this case, omg, that Paul would've been interviewed from head to toe.
I live in a block of 27 flats. We have CCTV notices up and 8 cameras. We had a mid-size incident just before covid lockdown we all felt really confident that the perpetrators would be there on camera footage until we found out that ALL THE CAMERAS ARE DUMMY CAMERAS, they have a red led type light bulb inside that makes it look like something and a cable going into the wall about 2 inches and this is it no working parts at all inside the casing, no recording, no evidence NOTHING. I put my own up and it was removed by the building management company, they said it didn't fit with the outside of the building. When we asked about CCTV we have never had any reasonable answer, cost, personal privacy and they don't need to put it up. All the ground floor flats have bars at our windows, I'm one. We've had windows completely removed and flats cleaned out into white vans while the tenants were at work, we've had children pushed through open windows (this is how I was burgled), we've had people sat in cars watching the flats for days and reported the cars to the police. Still nothing.
BUT drive into a BUS LANE and you'll receive a letter within 48hr's of you in the car along with full dental records and full family DNA - not forgetting the fine.
@Jane Green Ireland We have the finest ̶p̶o̶l̶i̶c̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶f̶i̶c̶e̶r̶s̶ ̶ tiktokkers in the country looking for two fishermen, a speedboat and a skiier with a missing glove. More went missing than previously thought.
Lancashire Police: “there is no evidence of criminal activity”. The people: “is it not for the police to search for and find the evidence”?………”tell us the evidence that conclusively shows there was no crime”.
It's a joke if you are bugarled but they don't leave prints we just assume they wore gloves nit that there is no crime etc . They expect evidence of a struggle etc if she is taken but don't need any for falling into river .
I may have misunderstood but didn't the police say that Nicola Bulley's fitbit hadn't been synced for a number of days before she disappeared? Originally I assumed the police thought she had drowned because her fitbit data suggested that. My biggest concern is that the hypothesis that Nicola vanished of her own accord is based on other people (be it partner, friends or family) saying she was or may be depressed. As someone who has been through a lot of grief , trauma and anxiety in their life I would Never ever just disappear. Not to say that others wouldn't but I don't believe for a second that Nicola did.
You are correct this is a copy and paste from the pres conference. Nicola's Fitbit Bulley exercised often and wore a Fitbit to track her steps and movements, which had been hoped to give police clues as to her whereabouts. But during Wednesday‘s press conference, detective superintendent Rebecca Smith said the Fitbit gave no clues. She said: ”Despite many technicians investigating the Fitbit, no further information can be gained from that as it hadn’t been synced for a number of days.”
I agree with you my friend, now the police are blaming it on her drink habit and yhe menopause,, anything just to take the lime light of themselves ,, that information was private and confidential,,
The primary thing that makes me think the 'runaway' hypothesis is bullshit is those kids. She wouldn't leave those kids, no matter how depressed or alcoholic
I can't believe what they have said she was a vulnerable person 20 days later and telling the world she has issues with alchol and the menopause .I think this should be investigated at a higher level because I can't believe they have given this information out to the world .
@@cookie_dough_hangover In the absence of information that makes sense, speculations thrives. I'm also speculating, but I'm hoping to get answers to my questions. This cannot end here. In the US a case starts, once the body is found. You can't rule out third party involvement, before you found the body. It's just not the way police works.
Nicola's Fitbit was not synced to her phone since Tuesday, so the idea of the police's working Hypothesis is out of the window. !! And she's definitely not in that river. There are clues that say an Abduction. Albeit all or most will be contaminated and destroyed by now. Except the hidden clues.?? Nicola was sound of mind or she wouldn't have been looking after her children. She had at some point battled with alcohol issue, and overcome it. She was never a risk to her kids or herself. The police do that best eh!! Imply Nicola had a mad moment and threw herself in the river. They may not say it in words, but they have managed the suggestion in other ways. Criminal behaviour is obvious they just like to be right more than do what's right. Now I hope they find out the truth rather than have tunnel vision. Who were the people around at 9.20 a.m. when Nicola's phone was traced to the tree bench? Because at 9.20 a man or a woman "A Couple" saw Nicola's phone on the ground next to the tree and picked it up, and placed it on the bench before Caravan Park Owner appeared at 9.33 a.m to say it was on the bench, and left it there. The Harness with lead attached was halfway down the Embankment like it was thrown there. To me these are two clues as to my theory Nicola was Abducted
I see that it's being claimed now that Ms. Bulley was a heavy drinker. My ex-partner would tell the neighbors that his empty wine bottles were mine. I never touch the stuff. Imagine if I had gone "missing" he would tell the police that I was a drinker, and the neighbors would confirm (because he told them that), they would stop looking for my body. I wonder how this news is going to affect seriousness of the search for her.
My missing partner's an alcoholic and I was wondering if they were prejudiced against him because no one's making any enquiries but now we find out Nicola is as well. It's a convenient excuse to take the heat off them.
And that is another thing that shouldn’t have been released to the public, because if she is out there alive, imagine reading that in a newspaper headline. What would that not be doing to her mental health??!
Hi Peter this might sound ridiculous I thought a while back about a case you may remember "Shannon Mathew's "it could be possible they never thought it wouldn't blow up as it as I just thought out the "box".
Brain aneurysm I think...severe headaches...came over feeling really strange and stood up and paced trying to fight how bad the pain was. Fell backwards and was unconscious due to aneurysm bursting..😢😢
What I want to know is why today have they decided she was high risk to herself and the public?? Why now ? If she was a danger shouldn’t this have been said sooner ??
What a stupid statement " I think, by law, if you have CCTV installed you should legally have to maintain it". What if they can't afford to? What if it's a dummy camera simply as a deterrant? If you mandated people to maintain them, less people would have them.
Yes they did! I use an app called Map my Walk which doesn't even need to sync it still works without internet. Have they seen the watch go in the river or not?? Simple question. Of course it could've been thrown in though.
Speculation but very good point. I live on a Local Caravan Park 3 miles away and Caravan Parks provide a Safe Haven for undesirable visitors, or illegal goods eg 6000 Puff ECigs are readily available for sale however I am NOT complaining about the latter as it's very useful for things available to me with Advanced Lymphatic Cancer and I couldn't care less where the goods come from.
What as been the response to the seemingly over concentration of efforts to locate a visual sighting on the road near the pub while the road near the school car park, Blackpool Lane, would be the more likely location for a sighting of her arriving and where she would normally leave.
How could Paul Ansell call the police at 10.50am, as said to Dan Walker in Channel 5 interview, if the police timeline stated the school wasn't informed untill 10.50am by the dog walker?
The whole “timeline “ was kind of smudged from day one. Firstly they were talking about “10 minutes window “ which I couldn’t even get- is it 9.10 - 9.20? 9.20 to 9.30? Why isn’t even 9.00 to 10.00? Like person surely did not watch the clock when he met her. Also...even woman found the dog at 9.33 , Nicola could be around, say taking a pee nearby etc...Different versions are on Fitbit. Some say easy to track, other say older models are hard to work them out .
Is Mark Ansell, Paul Ansell's brother who was involved in a drug case in Lanarkshire and was known to have been in prison same time as jason, the guy who found Nicola. It makes me wonder if Jason is involved in this case too .I believe Rebecca Smith was the one who brought down drug case in Edinburgh
The woman detective , Wednesday 14th Feb briefing said the Fitbit had not been synced for a number of days and the Police couldn't get any data from it. She stated the Fitbit must be synced.
I wonder why the police have said Nicola was deemed high risk ? Iv just read that Nicolas partner has a cousin that owns the property across from the bench and was arrested in 2000 for the disaperence of his own partner who was in her 30s but was let go from lack of I evidence if thats correct then theirs your person they say its usually someone close to home or family that carrys out harm to people 9 times out of 10 so im sure it will be Paul Ansells cousin 🌴💗🕸️🐦💯
THIS IS WT I MEAN!!! FFS!!! I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING SHADY ABOUT IT! that path behind the bench slopes down like a hill he could have easily grabbed her from behind! Where she dropped the phone was found there! Plus the Clairvoyant said some1 has been watching her with binoculars! 🪤 I am intuitive myself i dreamt some1 is doing alot of DIY. I saw brown laminate. floor.
@Sarah Wilson I just looked and a man is locked up Andrew Burfeild for Katie Kenyons murder. She was found a week later in forest. He is locked up? Bt do your own research bc if there is a serial killer then they need to get their skates on.
@Charlotte Pembroke they are saying just now that Nicola bulley would have had her phone in front of her while on the teams meeting call so if she " fell" in to the river why's her phone not with her and on the bench???
It's now the beginning of April. Poor Nicola's body was found a mile down stream in the river, yet we are still at a loss wondering what happened. This poor lady and her family. I just hope they get some real answers at the inquest. Personally I just can't fathom a mother leaving her babies of her own will...which why I keep thinking something else must happened. Unless Nikki was put on medication after the medic/police visit to her house and it effected her strangely.
People should be forced by law to maintain CCTV if they have it installed? If that is made law people will be ripping their CCTV systems out in 3... 2...
@@paulinecabbed1271 exactly. And even if a fund is made available that money will come from an already skint public. This cop is only considering his convenience
The police are saying there is no evidence to prove there is a third party involvement but there’s no evidence to say there isn’t A third party involvement How can they be sure there’s no camera evidence either way I still think she’s been abducted 😳😳😳
@@susanritter2520 Yeah the old menopause crap. I think the sister told him to say that rather than tell what her real mental problems were. I don't think he's done anything though.
It's only obvious that that's a possibility, however the facts are far from certain. Had she retained the 'phone on her person it would have been found along with her body - dead. It is possible that the 'phone was left to confuse the picture, however it would have been easy to get rid of the 'phone, say by throwing it in the river. It is possible that something disturbed / interrupted her and hence she left the 'phone on the bench. Now that we know her body was found in the river, another key question to ask is why it wasn't her body found during the initial extensive searches. It is really possible that it could have been missed? Or was it not actually there at that time, and was placed in the river later on? I don't know how true it is, but I heard that a relative of her partner had served time in prison and had once been accused of trying to kidnap a woman. Also the behaviour of her partner seems odd. I am not saying it is him, however it it quite possible that it might have been someone known to him.
Unfortunately the SOI “Becky” has now stated no Fitbit data because Nicola hadn’t synced it in days. I have a Fitbit and you must sync to an app or all data stays on the actual Fitbit. Also, my Fitbit must be charged every 2 to 3 days. If someone finds the Fitbit there will be data… I have concerns that she might’ve been part of a Fitbit workout group and could’ve disclosed her location, however, we know Fitbit tried to help and evidently no data was available, hopefully they checked past usage to see if she was part of that workout community and could’ve disclosed that location at an earlier date thereby showing her pattern for where she could be found when walking the dog. An evil person could’ve been waiting for her is all I’m saying.
Also, despite the police saying the area around the bench was thoroughly scrutinised at the earliest opportunity, people like this bloke still bang on about it not being cordoned off etc.
Why are they keep relying on CCTV? Back in the days we never had any of these so what did they use back then? Someone is just too stubborn to admit they are wrong.
Whilst I understand the frustration, I am absolutely against the idea about having to maintain your private CCTV by law. There are already plenty of laws in place that are not being followed, I don’t need another one.
Then WHY get a cctv? No laws are telling you to buy and install one. Ffs. Maybe one day it will be YOU or your loved one that goes missing and it's cctv that helps ....
There’s no cctv of the ONLY entrance/exit of that part where she enters. There is NOTHING suggesting she didn’t just leave the same way. There literally a gate opposite the entrance on the other side of the road. They need to check that way rather than the bench park.
Should check the "new client" that her partner said "she was excited about". Nicola is / was a mortgage advisor, why was she so 'excited' about this client? An ex? A new 'partner'? She may be another Susy Lamplugh who went to meet Mr Kipper? May have gone off with a.n.other, hence NO SIGM OF STRUGGLES!
That's a very good point. Would also explain the work call a few minutes before. Could have been talking about meeting a client, but them again I'm sure her work would have told the roz who she was meeting. Maybe she didn't inform her work and went to meet a client on the fly. Interesting.
The cctv in place thats not working is where the central focus point should have been, no-one puts up a camera that doesn’t work, check footages from before from when it was working, if its never been working why do you put up s camera system that doesn’t work? If it was a dummy system then it’s understandable but if not why would you set it up and not have it active recording. Who you try to scare off what you trying to hide ? It could even be some weird lonely guy who watches over that caravan park, who she caught the attention of, police should have got somewhere by now attacking all possibilities, everyone should be interviewed in every property while property’s are searched commercial and residential regardless if home owners are present. This could be a little kid tomorrow, if there was an accident as originally assumed she would have been found by now if she isn’t found this is a more serious issue. That women’s been abducted theres no other possibility, non working cctv? Thats as suspicious as the whole scenario.
A lot more time has been spent on Madeleine McCann who is almost certainly DEAD! Why shouldn't they look for Nicola? Because she had an alcohol problem? What are you actually trying to say?
I can’t believe that no body language expert sees how forced her smile is. Her chest always away from her husband’s chest. Even with her kids … smile coming from mouth and not from the eyes. Have they spoken to her doctor ? Medical records and all ? Abandoning a dog in a place that is often frequented by dog walkers is no big deal. The dog HAS A HOME and was surely “ registered” ( forgive me the English word won’t come to me right now ) . Yes heartbreaking to say goodbye to your dog but in this case she could “ safely “ abandon him and I say safely in quotes … because it was a matter of one hour max till they would bring him back home . Still a nasty thing to do to a poor dog and as I say “ safely” in quotes
Oh c'mon, ain't it bloody obvious by now? She left at Garstang road where the metal bridge is and turned left (the blindspot). There's no cctv there, few bungalows and a small church. She was either picked up by her online lover or walked off on her own accord, There's a roundabout there that forks off
The Fitbit had not been operational for a few days according to police today. Unfortunately not synced Police sent letters to drivers over 700 but seemingly they may have got the wrong exit . Seemingly Nichola was a creature of habit and exited the same exit I hope they sent letters for dash Cam on the other road ,they said Garstang road but apparently she entered and exited at I think the Blackpool road side. What I don't understand, why would you conclude she's in the water only. According to police she was vulnerable. Why would she go to lengths, get ready, drop kids off,go her usual route ,let the dog off it's harness as usual. Leave message with work, send message to friend setting up meeting , next day and then log into works meeting. I'm not saying unfortunately she didn't fall in river but there is a big but they didn't secure the bench. The dog was found pacing between the bench and gate and not the water. Police said their was a gap underneath the gate but we have been already told by witnesses that they were seen in the field. Spaniels are loyal so would not leave the bench area. Point in hand my family went a drive for the day,got half way to destination, realized she wasn't there.,drove back 50 mins to find her sitting where the car was. The neighbour was fascinated because she sat in the same spot looking around. The point being why was the dog dry and why didn't the dog go towards river edge
There was a boy killed on a road near me and his Fitbit told police the exact moment he died from being stabbed. So maybe Nicola's was turned off or taken off her and hidden by whoever has taken her as they knew it was trackable. I believe she's been taken by a vehicle at the gate hence Willow signalling she's been taken from the gate and showing their stuff was at the bench. Dogs are smarter than people realise she was tryna tell people my mum should be here at bench but she's gone at gate that's why she was running back and forth between the two. Had to be a vehicle as if it was someone on foot including Nicola Willow would have followed by she can't chase a vehicle. I pray she's gonna be okay. Like Carrick's victim's were held in cupboards and survived I pray she does too. If I don't trust anyone in this case it's the police
Has it been said the dog lead was left on the bench ? Just asking because I thought it hadn’t been mentioned? I know the harness and phone has been mentioned,,, it looks like the lead is red ,, in the cctv footage of the morning it looks like a lead in the back of the car to the right,,,
@@angelapetrie2418 I've owned dogs for more than 50 years. If someone abducted her, wouldn't the dog attack or follow? If she were in the water, wouldn't the dog go into the water? I don't know all the answers, but this needs to be looked into. People do go missing because they want to. It does happen.
Start your sentence with a capital letter. The word "English" should also she capitalised. "She's" should have an apostrophe in it and you should have ended your sentence with a full stop!
Your phone can only read data from a Fitbit that is within 30 feet or 10 metres. The minute you step outside of that zone it cannot synch. They synch every few minutes. So no matter how many steps she took from the phone on the bench, if she synched her watch then moved beyond 30 feet from the phone, and never came back to the phone then you would not see that activity ever.
My views are - Taking your dog a walk makes you feel good. Walking in nature makes you feel good. Using your email and logging in to teams means you are engaged in the moment and not in a depressed mood. The river is too shallow, slow and bendy to have carried her body to the sea. Someone knew Nicola walked here most mornings. Someone knew she was vulnerable. Someone planned to take Nicola and carried out that plan. That someone would have to be a family member, neighbour or someone who knew her. People do not just disappear. The truth will come out but may need someone from outside the local police to come in and take over the case or to work alongside.
I am not a body language expert but in all the photos I have seen … I have the feeling that Paul and Nicola were not much of a couple in love. I am not saying that they don’t love each other. But sometimes after having kids things cool off . Even if there is genuine peace and harmony. I don’t think she is in the water. I don’t believe she was abducted either. And I am totally sure that Paul is innocent. I mean it from the heart.I think she wanted to go missing. These things are extremely hard to understand but they happen. In all her photos I see smiling faces but not smiling eyes. Of course I have no idea of what really happened but if this is the case well at least she is well. I feel sorry for the family. Also do we know anything about unhappy customers or clients ( mortgage advisor ) and possible revenge? Again I have no reason to think in the least that she may have upset a client but has the police looked into that ?
I do not think Paul is innocent most of these missing persons cases the victim has been murdered by their partner, but police dont seem interested in him, I think they should he sure does not act like a man who's partner is missing!!!!!
I had two friends who were the nicest couple on earth. However they separated. Gary bumped into an ex girlfriend and all at once he realised that he had been in line with her all this time. He left Karen after many years of super harmonious relationship. Maybe they looked so close because they had a deep bond of friendship … and they felt comfortably safe. But no passion there. Paul seems very numb but maybe they gave him some meds to help him cope / sleep. I am surprised there is no much elaboration from her parents side , working colleagues etc Husband children and neighbours are often too focussed on the “ everything functioned normally “ aspect of things. If she has left , there is no pardon for the heartache she has caused. Though this is better than being abducted and trafficked.
@@suzsnnesanders4742 I would leave the children with friends and relatives and feel the urge to go out there personally to look for my partner, with my own eyes.
Dog would have followed her and if it did it wouldn't go back to the bench it would get lost or go home. I'd follow up who found the dog next to bench it seems very odd the dog would still be there unless she did go in the river but got out the other side food for thought
Doesn't a fit bit requiring synchronisation with a mobile phone and app before the data is available? So if the phone was on the bench, how did it synchronise? Far as I know, Fitbit do not have cellular connectivity in their watches. Bluetooth only has a limited range of about 10 metres. Less than a metre once underwater.
If you install a cctv camera by law you have to maintain it 🤣😂. Good one bleks, I can imagine all the criminals getting a summons to their local magistrates because they forgot to change the batteries in their ring doorbell.

Just watched 2nd press conference. FitBit, sadly cannot give more information. Instead they announce that she was "High Risk" Sounds to me like her Partner is feeding the Police a can of Red Herrings. Her car keys are missing. Paul took it upon himself to inquire into finding out whether they can be traced. Why would he worry about that? Police generally take care of the electronics. Did Paul leave those keys somewhere that he is worried about? Or is it just as simple as tracing them may lead to Nicola? Is he being watched or monitored in any way. Why won't he allow law enforcement to speak to his daughters? Is there any Domestic violence, history of affairs, money troubles, life insurance or recent updates in life insurance? Paul from all appearances is a brilliant mind at his job. Just for crimes sake, imagine if he planned a crime like this. What would his motivation(s) be? They were not married, yet together (12)? yrs, two young daughters, both working professionals. If Nicola was "high risk" as the press conference announced, it would be very difficult to do the type of work; Mortgage Broker she did (successfully). She actually had been doing work calls & set up an appointment that morning, texted a client? Was there domestic violence/abuse going on there? A person does not need to be physically struck by their partner to be abused. Let's say( for crime solving sake), that he was in another relationship. That is often the #1 reason that women go missing & end up being found mysteriously not alive. Its mighty convenient to say she was unstable, then maybe a few weeks on she'll be found in the Sea? Police then would have no choice but to call it an accident, or that she intentionally did it.. If her partner had nothing whatsoever to do with this, he would be 100% transparent. He would ask to have his daughters interviewed since kids are great little "sponges" of information who seem to remember a lot more than many give them credit for. Paul would ask them to search the house, his electronic devices, then give a list of ALL of their friends & family to interview. But, he is not being that way at all. Its just as hard to believe she's in the River, as it is that a random stranger in St. Michael's on Wyre abducted her!
