that's awesome, that's so great that there are international fans too who love Nicola and this season of Bridgerton. How successful is it over there? I watch Kdrama occasionally and it is rare to see different kind of protagonists or bigger women over there like Nicola. One of the only ones I can think of is 'My Lovely Sam Soon' (chubbier lady) and 'A Witches Romance' (older lady) I wish they would do more different kind of Kdrama.

@@NinjaDimes i strongley agree with you that k dramas lack diverse protagonists and i think that’s the main problem. Here in korea bridgerton is quite popular. At first it was because S1;simon and daphne fitted the “general beauty standards” and because of that I was a bit worried about how the mass would react about S3. But surprisingly they are all sending love. From these reactions im getting hope that someday kdrama protagonists would be more diverse.

she doesnt mean sending tik toks when youre in the same room as them. its more about sharing something you find interesting or funny, its a way of telling someone they are in your thoughts or that a video reminded you of them

Millennial/Gen Z late 90s kid myself. I agree about the love language part in that I like to send/receive very curated videos to/from a selective group of individuals. Not necessarily Tiktok (it's banned in my country), so insta reels, YT links etc. to be perused at our convenience. And it truly does cut deep when you spend time choosing something of interest/relevance to someone and they don't bother😅😅 But acquaintances, group chats with mass forwards (everything from sus health tips, news, 'funny vids' with background laugh tracks), being sent around indiscriminately actually genuinely stress me out!

It's about sharing interesting things that you and your friend like, whether it's a meme, a video or a recipe, it shows that you know that person might like it, I love receiving, I don't have social media except RU-vid

You are not that ✨special✨. Basically everyone finds it obviously a bit rude if someone else is not paying attention to you because they are on the phone. The problem is that people are addicted and have bad habits. And obviously Nicola meant sending these videos when you are apart.

@@castescotsss78 I haven't been on tumblr in over a decade but from what I remember it's a lot hornier there than on Twitter.

@@castescotsss78well one meme currently going around tumblr calls it the shipping website. As in the social media site people flock to specifically for shipping fictional characters and celebrities. Also people share a lot of fanfiction in there. And they make a lot of gifs.
