The Shipman sisters put it on the expenses not under phones but axillary something so we the tax payers paid for the sick evil mutants to conduct the evil discussions on the burner phones and to me that's criminal offence
@@Nick-fg4dq Archer got jailed. Non of these people involved are immune from prosecution. Will take many years to come to fruition, but worth the wait to see them get jailed.
Yes; DRoss the Zombie nodding head Tory has indeed lost the plot several times over, Bashing our Scots Nation Health workers and the Propaganda over messages deciding Scots Govt Policy!!! He could not be trusted in getting his Mother or Grans messages in.
I have a friend who's husband had terminal cancer, his one pleasure was being taken to a local beach and parking so he could watch the sea and breath the ozone... when lockdown began, his wife took him to the beach and they were turned away by the police who told them they couldn't park ...
I don't think Nicola Sturgeon comes out of this spotless, but we need to show some balance in our comments. Compare her answers to Johnson, Hancock, Gove or even Sunak's - no use of 'recall' / 'recollection', no evasiveness in her answers. She gave proper answers and did not play games with the QCs. I believe the display of remorse from her as well - not because she cried but the conviction in her voice in regretting being a leader during a pandemic and in trying to do her best throughout. It's clear that out of this enquiry a gold standard for information-keeping on personal phones and Whatsapp will be laid out, and that near enough everyone in power is in deficit on that issue.
@@jameslunan7723 look up the MP expenses scandal. Try getting out from under your rock. When you've finished with that scandal, come back and I'll give you another.
Data Protection Act 2018: Section 148: Destroying or falsifying information and documents etc Under Section 148 (2) (a) it is an offence for a person to destroy or otherwise dispose of, conceal, block or (where relevant) falsify all or part of the information, document, equipment or material. Section 148 (2) (b) makes to cause or permit the actions set pout in the previous subsection. Whatsapp messages are official records. The test is met. I believe Ms Sturgeon has committed a crime.
I love seeing this woman upset she is so disruptive her sole goal was to out do the UK government and then if there was an issue or problem she would blame the UK government as it suited her.😭
@@djmartin5240 The SNP are not Scotland they are a fairly average political party who have been in power too long with a liar just as big as Johnson in charge.I bet you still think she resigned to see more of her family rather than because of the police investigation that was coming.
@kethughes8266 I disagree, snp have dine more for Scotland than any English unionist parties have done un 307 years. Infact why hasn't England nit got free prescriptions, free university and college places, more drs and nurses in the snhs, etc.. Scots pay there taxes and recieve these benifits what does English get for there taxes. Do let me know.
@@djmartin5240 Really the SNP have done more did the SNP set up the NHS in the first place what about the state pension the welfare state free education votes for everyone over 18 etc etc. The reason England has not got the goodies you mention is because if England had the highest budget deficit in Europe (as Scotland has) there would be dire consequences. But Scotland with it's population half that of London and with an economy even smaller can hide under the skirt of the UK and the pound.Which is why the SNP were so keen to keep the pound. The Scots receive £126 per person from the UK government for every £100 that the English receive. Now you know.
Why on earth would she have locked down early ??? We all know now they were useless and would never stop a virus, and the harm that was done was catastrophic and carries on to this day, addiction, mental health , kids affected, depression the list carries on.. I for one will NEVER lock down ever again, and I doubt if a lot of people also would.
Sooner, seriously? If she said she regretted locking us down at all I'd maybe have a shred of sympathy for her. Non criminal citizens of a free country should never have their liberty taken away, ever, for any reason.
I don't get it, why is she being treated like Borris? Yes, she was unclear and broke the trust, and she shouldn't have deleted WhatsApp. But there was no outright lying and parties while everyone was on lockdown. It's nowhere near the same.
She lied, carried on deleting after the order was goven not to... something to hide maybe? Her government were also using some decisions for political gain at a time of crisis.
But you just saw her actually lie. She told the journalist everything would be available for looking at, knowing that she'd actually already deleted them. The problem with the deletion is that she can say they weren't relevant but how do we know? That's why everything should be kept and the enquiry decides what's relevant. She knew that. But deleted things anyway.
She and most of the Scottish government should be in jail with the civil servants that protect her and the Scottish legal system who enabled her and the corrupt SNP
@@patsanters2741yep thats whats shes done all these years spread hatred and lies, i a little englander love scotland and the scottish people and theres nothing you or the snp can do about it.
She was a lawyer then a politician both involve extremes of ambition. I mistrust ALL politicians they are part of the elite and as humans we are capable of showing deceit which was an essential tool in our survival so the tears could be part of the pressure she felt and not part of any regret because we all know that for a politician to admit they made a mistake is considered almost political suicide. No human is anywhere close to perfect assuming one can define perfect ,but politicians have given themselves titles such as "right honourable" and use the laws to their own advantage not forgetting that the Magna Carta was forged to maintain the power of the Barons and the inclusion of the masses was with the knowledge that most of the masses were poor and with zero power, just as today the rich afford the best lawyers and the poor are advised to plead guilty by the bottom of the barrel lawyers , i do not call that a democracy.
@@itk2493 Of course they give themselves titles that's what the whole honours system is about and just like the Magna Carta ordinary folk are included within the honours system in order that the honours system continue for those who consider themselves elite making a corrupt system look democratic to the people , and the people are fooled by the rhetoric and platitudes or they would not vote as voting allows the elite to say what we do is in your name .
@@hvhvgitaarshe had, there were photos of her hugging people at somebody’s birthday party in November of that lockdown - you can fawn over whichever politician however much you like, but maybe don’t lie so openly?
"At the end of the day" she and all others who have deleted government related records should have retained those records as required by the government's own record retention policies. There is no excuse from any of them
In spite of a welter of evidence that says that lockdowns had no point whatsoever. Real world evidence from Sweden. This lot on channel 4 would still have us locked down now. Such as Sturgeon is just doubling down on the pointless actions taken, by shedding crocodile tears that it wasn't done sooner to confirm in her mind that lockdowns ever had a point.
@@kimvernon9416 Sweden, no lockdown, no mask mandate, better results than most European countries that locked down and had mask mandates. Also interestingly with Sweden is that it does not have the high excess deaths now that lock-downed countries have, that governments don’t want to discuss.
Cathy Newmans editorial and deep insights...making references to red wine getting splashed. Can we please have some quality interviewing about what matters instead of such meaningless drivel?
If only these politicians would put half as much energy into actually leading and useful governing instead of all of these endless and quite frankley pointless inquires.
@@makeitsonumberone1358 Not during Covid-19 the small amount devolved powers received around £27B of the £376B printed via QE by the BoE none of the Covid-19 budget came from direct taxation, Even with Barnett additions Scotland only Received around £15B and a lot of that was paid late.
Messages or not Sturgeon still handled COVID better than any other leader in the Uk. Very sad that folk lost their lives but had Scotland followed "pile the bodies high" Johnson in England it would have been so much worse. And let's not forget Sunak's eat out to help out idea, which definitely helped to spread the virus. These are the things that should be front and centre along with the billions lost in the PPE scandal.
Are you serious? Will nothing shake your delusional belief that this horrific, spiteful, wasteful, shameful monster can do no wrong? She sought to make political bank from a public health crisis the likes of which the nation had never known. Did she REALLY need to get her doughy, sour, divisive face on television every single day to repeat what were were being told by the British government? How much did the SNP pay for air time to let that smug scourge of a nation make hay while the sun shone (for her, anyway)? I'll wager you think Yousaf the Terrible is beyond reproach as well. Wake up and smell the coffee.
You’re insane. This woman is a tyrant. After all the economic collapse and social chaos created by lockdown (all for absolutely no benefit - countries like Sweden which didn’t lock down have LOWER excess mortality rates than those that did) - after all that, she turns around and says in retrospect she would have locked down harder and sooner?! Are you some kind of masochist?
The COVID death rate of Scotland and England was pretty much the same. She lied ,she is under police investigation, she resigned seems pretty much the same to me.
Sturgeon has always been in good position, take credit for anything good, blame Westminster for anything bad. Same with COVID she's now saying I was shite and not transparent, but PM Boris was worse.
meanwhile the tories wiped 57 billion into their pockets and nothing was done to them while this is all over deleted texts wish rishi was looked into with Scotland's police.
You know what they say a true fool never learns from their mistakes, they just double down on them and always repeat them because of it!!! Example now showing. First she did nothing wrong, but offers a faux, lame apology. Then come the tears really all for herself, not for the families devastated by her incompetence, then deleting g messages, that's cover up!!!
Douglas Ross makes me feel physically sick. It was his party who kept harping on about SNP wanting Scottish Independence during the pandemic. Nicola herself barely mentioned it and even stated several times that saving lives had to take priority over independence. Sure, Nicola made mistakes, but maybe those who lost loved ones should take another look at the covid figures toward the end of the first lockdown in England. Covid was close to eradicated in Scotland, then BawJaws pulled England out of lockdown prematurely and came up with his loony 'Eat Out to Help Out' disaster. How would any FM counter that? As for the Whatsapp messages, how many times does it need to be stated that guidelines were that they should be deleted before anybody listens? This is a witch hunt. Nothing more, nothing less.
It isnt insured either then...most policies will be void if no MOT.... eh, I'm just taking it for MOT now officer, had to drop ex FM Sturgeon off at the inquiry quick... i reckon most cops would sense something fishy about that story.
The people of Scotland knew what was happening in the care homes and were powerless to do anything about it as Sturgeon and her lackeys knew better and she tried to blame England for her failure.
