2023, almost 10 years ago and still by far the best sets i have ever listened to.

This should be the standard on how boiler rooms are performed. Straight organic & raw. Its crazy how we all fall back on this set. Years later and its still music to my ears.

I've watched this many many times over the years and it keeps getting more impressive. After 8 years, I just now am really appreciating the fact that he isn't using headphones to preview his mixes, he's just producing a whole damn experimental house album live through the amps for everyone and God himself to hear. Fucking impressive.

13:12 for one of the most disgustingly tasteful grooves I have ever heard. I cannot even comprehend the level of genius that is Nicolas Jaar. No. Seriously. I have recorded my own music, which isn't even bad, for 12 freaking years and Nicolas Jaar is in another fucking dimension. Every section of this performance is top-notch. To be able to flawlessly flow all of these pieces together live blows my mind. I screw up tiny little sections of my 3 minute songs over and over again before I get the right sound, but Nicolas Jaar over here is just hitting every part with surgical precision. These are complicated, unsual rhythms, yet he allows the lister to build a comprehension of the groove by building sections and holding onto them. Once the listener is in the same headspace of the groove, he builds tension, and drops. It's so sick. I don't know of anyone else that is capable of doing that.

I like the part from 0:00 to 46:28. Great stuff!

Today is 13 January 2024, that's a live session 10 years old, I am back here to listen this genius, again , Nico, i love man, really, i do, don't know why i am writing this comment, i am just happy, with myself, that you "existed" in my lifetime. From 32:00 to 40:00 is the most brilliant djing/mixing/live production I've ever heard, the way he brings in so many parts in and out of the mix to create tension and drops is unmatched

I went to a guest lecture Nico Jaar did and he said he was worried that ppl in the audience didn't believe that he was actually performing so he started mixing via midi controller. He also did a very on the fly mix of footwork and James Blake that blew everyone away just to demonstrate how he would dj back in college lol. A real legend here folks

April 2022. It's 9 years already, and everytime I get back to this set. No DJ ever has come closer to his level. A true masterpiece!

What people do not understand about this set is that he is really using a live radio. This is real electronic music. He is amazing.

What I love about this the most is how immersed Jaar is and how much fun he must be having.

he IS the 21th century composer!! he's simply a genious!!..this set is something unbelievable: elegant, refined, original...one step above the perfection...

When I listen to this set, I feel like it wouldn’t be that entertaining to see live, even though the beats are pure fire. BUT when you see Nicolas jamming so hard and flowing through all the transitions it’s actually amazing, we are just mere mortals watching a master at work.

I made the mistake of getting into house music through jaar. no other artist in that genre lives up to the quality and mind blowing mixing ability.

This is a legendary set. Absolutely genius. Especially that "took me out of the dark rain" moment

hope this genius plays for people who really can appreciate his music nowdays....would love to dance in his crowd to warm them up....

2019. After years I came back to this and it's on now for 24 hours straight. Mainstream electronic music lovers and most people will not understand how deep this is in so many layers. The parts and sounds are so brilliant and carefully picked, goddamn even the sounds sound so good. Love the slow build up, to me it could even last longer. And if you can't dance to this, you don't feel any rhythm. Play this on a good soundsystem and your roof will blow off. Musical genius. League of his own.

I was introduced to Nicolas Jaar by my ex years ago, and immediately fell into his groove & precision. I may not be with my ex anymore but the good “take away” from that relationship was my continued appreciation for Jaars sound! Happy place
