My boyfriend died when he was 17, I’m 21 now. The years keep going by, but I still hear him singing this to me when I play this song. I miss him more than words can explain.

One of the many reasons I love her is because she references some of my favorite movies, like True Romance (you're so cool) and Natural Born Killers (I see the future and there is no death because you and I are angels), the way she incorporates pop culture into her music is so perfect

it could've been her ex matt tomasi who was with her during the release of this album and helped with the production. it could have also been one of her friends too but im not too sure though
