Nicole Kidman on possibility of dual Oscar nominations for 'Destroyer' and 'Boy Erased' | GOLD DERBY 

Having seen both Destroyer and Boy Erased if anyone deserves to be a double nominee, it's Nicole. wow. incredible work this year, and every year. She never phone's it in. always gives her all, and finds sympathy with every character she plays. I really hope more people start adding her into the Best Actress category for Destroyer, it's not that often that women get to play such a complex, gritty character. She plays Erin so effortlessly, she deserves to be in talks for winning the Oscar this year.

THis is why I love Nicole.... Most actresses after winning the Oscar, they disappear... Nicole keeps looking for parts that can push her to be good. I respect that a lot. She is a fine actress.

So I live close to Nashville, TN. My brother in law works in the music industry and Nicole is a beloved figure in Nashville. Always very kind and warm to her fans, people she meets. Is an active citizen in that she supports the public library, filming movies in Nashville, etc. and is just a warm down to earth person. She deserves a double nod this year. Hope you are listening Academy voters!!

she is the reason why i LOVE cinema and she has been overlooked for other amazing performances (to die for, eyes wide shut, dogville,the others birth,paperboy) heres hoping on a double nomination OH GOD!!!

She is one of a kind... For sure she will get in with Boy Erased.. Although Destroyer is her best craft to date.. But I feel the movie it self is not creating enough buzz like Boy Erased.. It would be lovely to see if she get in both.. But the Academy seems not really like her for some reason.. For her top notch long career I can not believe she only got 4 nod and win 1..For an actor as good as Nicole she should have at least 7 or 8 nod with at least 2 Oscar under her belt..

What I like about her is that she is fearless to challenge herself!!!!

At Telluride, she had the crowd cheering twice with two different lines in Boy Erased-- so I would put money that she will definitely be nominated in Supporting. As for Destroyer, I heard from many that the film is lackluster but her performance is great, and considering how many great female performances there are this year, I don't think she will get the lead performance nomination

Such a hard year 2018 for female roles ,either supporting or leading since there have been so many and in such high quality , i hope she will not be overlooked , good luck Nicole.
