This song deserved to be a big hit worldwide and to launch Nicoles solo career. The beat is insane and the song has a great production. Nicole looks amazing in this video and I love her breathing vocals, as it matches the songs lyrics perfectly. T.I was also the hottest rapper at the time when the song was released. The song had the potential to be very succesful commercially. It just needed to be promoted better, then it would have been a succes. :)
I think people are prejudiced against Nicole because of the PCD drama, honestly. She was already solo, but now there are no bells and whistles, honestly. The song was released at the exact right time. It gutted me to hear Nicole say “They didn’t want me;they wanted the Pussycat Dolls.” That was sad, but she kind of shot herself in the foot by taking over.
@@JiaPia3 I can understand why people wanted Pussycat Dolls and not just Nicole. Just Nicole is not extraordinary special, there used to be plenty of solo female singers. But girl groups like PCD became rare, especially since they made decent music for everyone to listen, not just girls. We had Spice Girls and Destiny's Child but not much since.

Funnily enough i thought it's one of the most boring music videos i've ever seen. Right up there with the video Rihanna - Hands in the air. For me this video is repetitive and serves no purpose or meaning, it's just Nicole stretching around. After a minute or two i didn't bother watching any further. Same here. It’s a shame that nowadays she’s probably considered too slim for America’s current beauty standards. My body is similar to her’s but I’m shorter and outta shape lmfaoo. Another thing, I was dyeing my hair light brown for a few years but I decided to grow out my natural dark brown color cause she inspired me to. She rocks her dark hair.
