That lowkey made me sad. Like we see this internet personality who makes these jokes about herself and we laugh with her but I think when she was in highschool she would just get laughed at and make jokes before other people could. Now I think since she is older she has gained confidence but I bet when she was younger and made these videos she really thought she was ugly and was insecure.
@@eqsael That wasn't my highschool experiance. I never made self depreciating jokes and was pretty popular. It's so easy for someone to say " yOu'Re pRoJecTiNg " when they dont agree with an opinion but I actually had a reason for my thought process. She literally used to always make fun of herself and call herself names like ugly and bald headed. That was her entire humor when she first started making videos and to see her vlog in school and the other kids giving her looks and laughing then to hear that joke fall flat made me think that she actually may have had low self esteem and used humor as a way to mask that. Its not that far fetched an idea and it isn't like I pulled that out of nowhere either. Its 2019 and we have seen plenty of internet personalities open up about their lives and say that its was actually a different story behind the funny videos we saw. It's not a reach 🙄
@@palmbalm It was relevant to what I was trying to explain. They said I was projecting by saying that she may have had low self esteem growing up and in highschool. That would mean that I grew up that way and am just putting those feelings into the situation and that is false. By saying I was popular and that experiance wasn't my own I was disproved that person's theory. I didn't say it for no reason. That person called me an ass for assuming and implied that I am just blindly making statements due to my own issues. In reality I watched the video a saw how others reacted to her and how she makes self depreciating jokes about herself constantly and afterwards I said what I said. There is no hate in what I said and when the initial comment quoted that part of the video it made me think about how sad it would be if she really used to feel that way about herself. So no, once again I am not projecting any feelings toward her that's just the way I analyzed what I saw.
