I’m going to be honest with y’all and myself. I’m 16 an I started to vape earlier this year and then a week ago I stopped suddenly. All the symptoms she stated is what I’m going through now, I threw my vapes away and I quit because I don’t ever want to feel like this again. I crave and crave but I resist it and I’m going to keep this journey going on. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME COPE WITH MY CURRENT WITHDRAWAL
So proud of you, I’m also 16 and have been addicted to vaping for 4 years. I was on 50 nic. It was hard at first but now that it’s been a month I feel great.
same but do y’all have quick heart beats like i’m never smoking again bro i learned my lesson i’m over here thinking i have heart disease i was crying for days it’s been 4 days
@Anthony Wiza bro i’m proud of u like i was looking up symptoms like crazy the anxiety was killing me i’m happy there’s vids like this makes me feel better and i be having chest pains i just got to get though it move around drink water i never wanna feel like this again but the worst feeling in the world is nic sickness like i got it and that’s when i stopped vaping and this started happening life is hard 😅.
@Anthony Wiza i’m saying bro like i felt so alone up till now i think i’m having a bad withdrawal because every time i would vape i would be laying down this shit no joke like i hope my sadness doesn’t take over again and make me relapse i told my mom i need help so she said ur fine so i found my own solution i wish i never did.
no same i was at a party and i stupidly hit a vape and i immediately got addicted and i just stopped today and i literally feel like i’m going to die because i feel pressure in my chest and in my brain and i’m scared
She didn't mention mood swings or anger management issues. Smoked for 40 years, quit a few times so far. Always end up wanting to tear someone's head off, seriously bad. Always end up going back to cigarettes. Quit when you're younger, before it screws up everything in your life!
Hi Mickey, thanks for your comment. In this other video below, Nasia discusses 3 ways to manage emotions without smoking: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n0oRvXs6sdA.html :)
Good for you, I quit 3 months ago and I am constantly physically tired and always deeply sad. For me, quitting didn't bring any benefits but only physical and mental depression.
I slept the first 2 days and Didn't leave the house for being scared of buying a pack . day 4 . its getting better lol 😂😂💯💯💯💯I Am so proud of myself 😂😂
@@thecat1919 thanks for the words of encouragement, I've tried quitting before, but this time I'm really determined, I'm already 41 y.o. now, been smoking since I was 16 .
@@JewessChrstnMystic don't know about this dude but it's my 74th day without smoking and life feels so good without it , i think I've quit successfully still have to be alert for 90 days
I was leery of these videos but i after watching a few, this lady really " gets it " on Day 3 headed into Day 4. Pray for me. No Gums or Patches. Cold Turkey.
I've been smoking for 27 yrs. More then half of my life. The smell, seeing ashes in my car, the embarrassment I feel as people say you don't look like someone who smokes or you're too pretty to smoke and smell like that has caused me much embarrassment and shame over the years I'm literally disgusted with cigarettes but can't go a couple of hours without one no matter how hard I tried I have lived a very hard stressful life and cigarettes have been my best friend and my mind and my heart says stop just stop but it's like my hands and my mouth are not listening I've got to stop but the fear is so great
Hi Christina, thank you for your comment! You can do this. 💪 Watching this video will show you why it seems hard to quit smoking and how you can quit smoking easily: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DavqM_6U3BM.html
It's been 17 days for me, after 30 years of smoking. I actually feel so much worse, headaches, dizziness and last week I got weird things on my tongue bubbles or pimples, very scary. Cant wait to start feeling better because this sucks
@@mariecutrona1503 keep fighting it, use a vaper with no nicotine its helps tremendously you can always stop vaping after a while, take lots of vitamin C it helps stop the cravings
Great video! I quit both cigarettes and vaping at the same time a week ago. I am being very careful about what I eat and working out. It’s a real struggle.
Very good video. I'm in my 90 days nicotine free, but still have some withdrawals sometimes like difficulty in breathing, thightness in my chest and anxiety. But it's feel good knowing I left smoking for 3 months already.
I smoked for 45,, it has been 16 weeks since I have smoked,,, yes I do have cravings, yes I did have headaches and I still have cravings and headaches and I still have sinus issues ,,,,I haven’t smoked 16 weeks. I am still changing,, I’m still a baby,,😎👍🙏🏻
It's been almost 1.5 years since I've quit and I've found that my stamina has improved, my breathing is better and I feel a lot more at ease. The substitution with food is a real thing and I almost used to convince myself that it's OK to eat more, even if it was junk food at times, so long as I was not smoking. Now I'm past that phase as well. There is a very rare and occasional pang but nothing I don't stop thinking about after about 2 minutes.
@@tiwari033 Well, it's been a while, but as far I can remember, I used to feel a little distracted and had difficulty concentrating on work etc. I would always think of my family which was my strength to keep my my focus retained. I would also car pool which would help me meet new people and keep me occupied. To get rid of my constant craving, I would constantly resort to chewing gum (not nicotine tabs) to keep my mouth occupied and drink cold water to the best extent possible. Sometimes, even resorting to sugar candy and coffee or other fluids. Not saying that these are all good substitutes, but all said and done, you do need something to keep your mind off cigarettes for the first couple of months. After that it should be smooth sailing. Oh and if you're curious, I did go cold turkey.
Nasia I have been so successful this time because of you!! I say "NOPE!" when the thoughts arrive and have been resting for the past few days (I have bad health so it's been difficult physically). I am about to hit 5 days. Holy crow. I hit 5 days! Going on 6 today!
Great video, I’m a little over a week in with insomnia and tingles as the most annoying WDs. I believe I’ll get through this and I can’t wait until I can fully enjoy life again
I’m so glad I found your channel!! Everything you say makes so much sense!! I quit smoking and I want to thank you for sharing this for free to everyone.. You are an Angel 😇
I have recently stopped vaping, along with having a traumatic event occur in my personal life at the same time. Feeling depressed, anxious, triggered and racing thoughts. I found taking Sertraline(SSRI) has helped to alleviate some of the symptoms. But it can make you eat more. Very important to breath, exercise and journal your thoughts and emotions.
This "Later" kept me free of smoking for almost two months now. Recently I feel like I have arrhythmias but no short breath nor cold sweats; Nothing. I'm 55 and I smoked for 33 years. Few months is a small price to pay actually. :D
Hi, very happy to have found this video. I've stopped smoking since May 3. on the same date my BP went as high as 150 and felt i was about to pass out. As part of my recovery I've decided to make serious lifestyle changes like proper diet and stop smoking. For a couple of days now, i've had several symptoms such as mouth sore (day 3 onwards), sore throat (day 5 til now). The worst symptoms i've experienced are 1. (day 2 til present) ALL DAY tingling sensation in arms and legs (almost close to being numb) - but when i prick/press my arms/legs i feel the sensation 2. ALL DAY dizziness and headache - since May 3 i've had this. Initially i thought it was bcoz of the high Blood pressure but now that my BP is in control, i still have it. If i read/watch anything for a prolonged period of time, my head hurts more. 3. the WORST (apart from the 2 above) - is that i would suddenly feel the loss of strength as if i am about to faint. This sensation lasts from say 1 minute an hour. (varies from time to time) I was thinking of smoking again just so i would know which of these symptoms are due to withdrawal and which could be because of another medical reason. Would appreciate any advice
Mine is kinda worst, neuropathic itch all over the body especially on palms and soles of feet.. This is only started during my nicotine withdrawal and it's already been 1 1/2 months it's really making hard to sleep. I've been to ER multiple times and it's tiring, I will be going to a doctor again this week regarding this itch and I'm afraid
I have the same conditions. Did it get better eventually? I am on day 5 and I have a empty feeling in my head all day long. All vitals are normal but there are random pangs of palpitations and feeling like loss of strength. Any help ?
thank you for these videos theyve really helped me a lot. the information you share is over looked by a lot of others. i used the patch for 2 months and im now almost 3 months no smoking and close to 1 month no nicotine. im currently dealing with the fatigue and and i get exhausted through out the day. its a process but im committed to never smoking again.
I quit for 5 days then I got mean restless crazy feeling I started back and I hate my self for it but I'm going to try again I'm 63 been smoking when I was 14 I've tried to stop so many times I hope this works I'm praying for it to work
this video helps me more to avoid overthinking, anxiety and depression where it leads me to loose my appetite and hard to fall asleep. Hopefully later, tomorrow and the other day the process keeps going on cause it makes me weak when anxiety and sadness strikes.
Hi, we're glad the video helped! It will also benefit you to watch Diane's ask an ex interview where she explains how she took control of her mind and beat depression without smoking: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ccvg5MLURHU.html
I also went cold turkey back in nov 22nd of three weeks ago. I also quit caffeine as well like energy drinks. I have gotten what seemed like an ear infection during the last few days of nov. but I also realized you get withdrawal symptoms as well as flu like feeling. (Currently recovered from) Keep pushing and don’t ever go back!
Thanks doc, I find it helpful and informative even though I already quit smoking almost 2 years from now.what I'm looking is that my hands tingling just like u said and I know now what it's causes. Your so beautiful doc 🤩 and attractive speaker 😻😻😍
Thank you so much. It helps a lot. 😊 I feel so much better now. Also thanks for my wife for sending me this video. I feel so much relief hearing this. Now I know I'm not alone
Thanks so much for this video. This is my 7 day without smoking cigarette after ive smoked for 33 years. On day 5 without smoking cigarette i started having constipation with too much gas in my stomach which is so painful. I was so scared and confused as to what to do till I came across this video. Now I feel much more better bcos I now understand it's normal when one quits the bad habit of smoking cigarette. Once again thanks for this video Sister.
I’m so sick of smoking. I’ve been smoking cigarettes since I was 14 years old. I’m 21 now & I’m SICK of it. Only time ive been off cigarette where when I was pregnant with my kids. I wish I never picked another cigarette up after I had my daughter. Plus on top of that , I’m a singer & it’s started to weigh on me. I really needed this
@@simonb2109 i actually did last like 3 days 😂 quitting 20 times since then, each lasted 2-4 days.. now its for real, on the twelfth day, that has never happened before ☺️
Here looking for answers myself I just quit I’m 21 been smoking for about 4 or 5 years on day 4 an the most consistent feeling is tightness in my chest an anxiety an dizziness. I have no craving at all for a cigarette but the tightness is something else. I got some NRT gum this evening an it helped the tightness. If your having these symptoms just remember it will pass an the end result will outweigh the discomfort stay strong!!
the alert paranoid feeling from nicotine is such a joke. even tho I'm getting decent withdrawals I can already feel how much better my body feels at certain moments. understanding the withdrawals was the best tip from this vid.
Thank you so much for this video Nasia... I sooo needed this right now with my quit date set for the 1st Jan 2022... Already my fears have subsided considerably after watching this. Very informative... I certainly know where to come to on those difficult days (if any)... Will just be taking one minute, one hour, one day at a time...💜
I smoked heavy for 15 years im 5 days cold turkey my insomnia is high plus getting body aches foggy brain shaking feeling cold just waiting for it to pass been in bed for 2 days
Thanks to my self love, I quit smoking over a month now. And i dont have a plan in further future to return to my vices all over again. All we need is just to change our mind set and thats it! Automatically we can quit anytime we want.
Thanks so much Nasia, I appreciate your help and insight. The more insight you gain about all the fake traps one might encounter the easier it becomes becuase you already know what might happen before it actually happens.
I used vape to quit cigs early 2021 and now I’m trying to quit vaping and smoking pot (I’ll smoke weed again when I can control myself). Dude it’s day 3-4 and the quitters flu SUCKS! First it’s scary because of delta floating around so I didn’t know what was making me sick. If you are having the same issue try a hot soak in the tub with soaking salts. Good luck!
Thanks for this great, encouraging video. Most videos I've watched try shaming you into quitting. That doesn't work. I really appreciate your Wisdom & im very determined
ive withdrawl from so many things at this point. vaping is the last thing to go.... i was so scared to throw that thing away but thanks everyone for helping me feel hopeful and excited for the freedom a week from now
i’ve been detoxing for almost a week now! my throat felt funny in the morning and like i couldn’t breathe felt dizzy a lil off balance, at night ive developed right sided chest pain where it felt so tight and squeezing but now its gone not to mention i had tingling in my legs too today😭 i got this im a six year smoker😭
MY 12TH DAYS IS GOING ON, FEELING THE SAME AS YOU MENTIONED IN THIS VIDEO, ALLBTHE DAY SLEEPING MOOD, BORDEM, IRRITATING. BUT KNOW THE POSITIVE OUTCOME OF IT. GOD BLESS YOU MISS.
I quit after being a smoker for 20 years. I went cold turkey on 15th January 2022. It's been almost 2 weeks. I hope I never go back. I'm really hungry nowadays though. Good luck to everyone who is trying to stay smoke free 🙂
For those of you asking, I have been smoke free for over à year now. Have been off added sugar for 6 months and I've lost close to 18 lbs of weight too.. Still overweight though 😁
I started smoking again by the way because I felt brain dead from not smoking for 4 or 5 days can't remember it was horrible I could of quit if I didn't feel brain dead the cravings where hard but not that difficult if you really want to quit and are In the right mindset but feeling brain dead I couldn't do it too difficult
Listen man… try again! It’s not meant to be easy. We are all feeling this so you are not alone just remember that… keep smoking you will be actually Brain dead. You are NOT invincible you ARE lucky to still be healthy or alive. Deal with these withdraw symptoms for a couple weeks… or deal with an oxygen tank the rest of your life. Or miss out on life opportunities cause you die at a young age… think about it. The feelings are only temporary. Just accept it like it’s Covid. Covid sucks and there is no cure for it you need to let it pass same thing with cigs it will pass. Keep trying don’t give up the longer you continue to smoke the harder it gets
I stopped slowly then quit ! I couldn’t breathe my chest hurt I felt like I had lung cancer so I scheduled a cat scan to see if I have cancer ! But now I believe it was a withdrawal and I gave in ! Start over and getting my ear zapped Tuesday ! Cut back down to 3 a day
@@bilalamjad3147 I'm much better now. But I've noticed that the dizziness comes when I don't get enough sleep. And I think it fits with nicotine withdrawal, which caused me heavy insomnia therefore I had bad sleep which resulted in that slight dizziness. So try to get more sleep and see if that works out for you. Also hydrate hydrate hydrate. Drink plenty of liquids. Try a drink called body armor. Or the liquid i.v. it helps tremendously.
I quit marijuana and alcohol. I need to stop vaping now. Thank you for the video. I have a lot of energy in the morning and i am hyped and happy but as soon as i start vaping i get snxious and feel down. Nicotine is terrible 😕
I found quitting weed surprisingly doable. It was hard but only took me about 3-5 days. I don’t drink but I believe that is a whole other level. I agree that nicotine is crazy difficult. I am struggling with it for sure but I am 6 days nicotine free now after 32 years of a nicotine addiction. The thing that is helping me is drinking water through a straw… constantly. It’s a nice replacement for the hand/mouth thing. Keep up the progress you’re making! Sounds like you know what you’re doing. We only get one chance at one body ya know?
And with vaping you are still getting nicotine which is toxic. I found that my body feels better vaping because it doesn’t have all the chemicals cigarettes have. But you can still suffer with the health issues that nicotine puts on your body. She gives very good advice. Listen carefully to her videos and consider what she says.
Hi Franz, congratulations on being 5 days smoke-free! You've got this! 💪 We recommend following Nasia's suggestions in her video on what to do when you feel tired/sleepy, and hungry. Thank you so much this is very helpful! Mine is nutritional hunger. Like i eat 7 times a day loooool I tried smoking today just to try if its true that you won't appreciate the taste once you quit and it's true! It taste like paper and the smell is awful! hahahahaha
I've just stopped smoking and I can't tell if I'm sick or if it's from withdrawals I feel like I can't breathe but it's not enough to kill me obviously but it feels like it I've never had panic attacks or depression so idk what that feels like but I can tell you that I feel extremely worrisom and angry and I do get very emotional all of the sudden like I'll be sitting there and start thinking I can't breathe than I feel like I can't breathe Honestly I'm not coughing badly but it definitely feels like my body is trying to get rid of something down in my lungs also I kinda feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack like there's a pressure pain near my heart but toward the bottom maybe palpitations but I can't be sure. Also have some light Diarrhea. I'm not sure if it's withdrawals or not! Please reply with your experience and symptoms as well I'm curious to see if mine line up with others. Also I'm 18 and have been smoking for roughly a year or 2 I haven't counted also I'm like 3 to 4 days in if it matters
