yeah, i remember i told my friends about this because i played nier gestalt back in the day and they didnt understand, also the library scene almost at the end of the game hits hard.
Same guess. I only played Automata so far and now got Replicant as a gift. I rarely know anything about Kainé, and Emil's reaction in Automata was already enough to get me emotionally attached to this song.
One of my biggest regrets is not appreciating the beauty of this game the first time I played it. It was only after a couple years of being part of the community that I realised all the subtle references and characters I missed, and I'll never have the chance of experiencing those moments *for real* again.
It happened to me too, i couldn't get all the references and i never got to this area when i played Automata. Now that i only have to beat the game one more time to get Ending C, D and E on Replicant, i feel the urge to play all Automata again from scratch.
@@genericyoutubeusername6462 it's the beauty of the game. I went into Automata blind to the already established world of Nier from the first games. If I had played the original Nier before Automata, I thoroughly believe I could've had the ideal gaming experience in terms of understanding the cohesive narrative between each game. To explore Emil's home in Automata covered in Lunar Tears and find out years later it was all for Kaine, a character from a whole different game, was something that I wished I had known before playing Automata because of the emotional response it would have on me. This is applicable for many references and other things in Automata. The desert civilisation and it's rules are another example.
A2 being speculated to have the simulated memories of Kaine, standing at what is a recreation of her home and bed of flowers she holds dear, is very poetic.
the reason I used A2 other than her being my favorite in nier automata, is that she is indirectly related to Kaine. Or so I've heard edit: if someone knows better please leave a comment!
@Dark A2’s pre programmed personally and memories were recovered from remnants of project Replicant and Gestalt the personality being Replicant Kaine’s and memories being Gestalt Kaine’s or something like that so she’s basically Kaine reborn (again)
Nier music. So powerful, strong, beautiful and such a good companion for when you want to write/cry your heart out. I journal to this music, sometimes meditate, and sometimes just listen to it while staring at the mountains or sky. The Nier series changed me and I don't regret my decision in playing these games AT ALL.
Translated Lyrics: Enjoy :) So beautiful it can't be true a feeling unknown This can be real? or it will vanish like all my dreams? Hey, I never knew a feeling like this Hey, have you waited so much in the dark, Kaine this light is for you. Hey, I never knew a feeling like this Hey, I know what I have to do I will take your hand and let your light guide me So, beautiful it can't be true a feeling unknown This can be real? or it will vanish like all my dreams? @@s70driver2005 its just cooded, from what i understand its a mix of languages there was a youtuber who used to decode those type of languages but he deleted his channel. I was able to save the words and translate them into english. What you are seeing there is the actual lyrics of the song decoded and translated into english.
This song hit so hard in Replicant (unfortunately i didn't know about significance of this place on 1st automata playthrough) but... the song started to feel repetitive after i had to finish shadowlord castle like 9 times xDD
@@crystalesian It's in game. You can visit that area whenever you finish Emil's quest. A2 can visit that area as long as you finish the quest as 2B or 9S.
Groovy the Music, wish Kaine & A2 was the Ally/Lover of Ash Williams (Evil Dead/Army of Darkness) even if she is another equivalent from another dimension
