3 farm spots with recommended level to farm in 1. Location: Housing Complex (Adam Boss Battle) Time when available: As soon as you finish the Adam boss fight Enemy Level: 34 (Fixed) Recommended Player Level: 1~40 Important Drops (Rare): Machine Arms, Pristine Cable, Stripped Screws Upsides: Relatively easy to gain exp and misc low tier materials at the start of the game Risk: Suicide Bombers spawns frequently and can deal large amount of damage at once, potentially killing you if you’re too low leveled or not equipping auto use item chips. Not recommended for 9S’ playthrough as by the time Route B begins, player will be at around level 40 to 50. Tips: Retrieve Virtuous Treaty as soon as possible and equip the Auto Use Item chip immediately. Make sure to carry enough small recovery and use pod to destroy suicide bombers as soon as they spawn. 2. Location: Copied City (where you fight Adam the third time) Time When Available: Start of Route C&D Recommended Player Level: 45~65 Enemy Level: 60~65 depends on the machine type Important drops(Mediocre): Exp, Clean Nut, New bolt, Machine Core, Pristine Cable Upside: Easy to access, enemies spawns a lot faster and in a bigger group. Risk: Almost no cool down time, enemies spawns in large group that can overwhelm players very fast. Tips: As A2, use Beserker Mode whilst using Angel’s Folly with Offensive and Deadly Heal to create a never ending combo. Use Wave for large Small Stubbies groups and Wire for Flying Stubbies. Laser Pod can also disable Goliath Class Biped’s electrocute legs. 3. Location: Amusement Park courtyard - The Rabbit Statue Time When Available: As soon as Missing YoRHa Unit begins. However, it’s only recommended after Mid to late Route C Enemy Level: 80 (Fixed) Recommended Player Level: 60~99 Drops: LARGE amount of Exp, up to 40,000 without Exp boost chips. Machine Core, Powerup Part M Upsides: Able to gain large amount of Exp that can level you up almost 5 times at once upon defeating it once at Level 60~70. Vulnerable to hacking, easy to farm. Risks: It shoots projectiles that can two shot you at lower level. Has a massive health pool, virtually impossible to defeat it as 2B or A2. Requires a large amount of damage dealt before its awake, up to 5 minutes of attacking is required at lower level. Tips: Use 3 pod fully charged Blade to attack it when waking it up. Do NOT fight it hand to hand, always use 9S and hack it to death. Equip Exp Boost chips to get up to 80,000 Exp at once. To farm the Statue, save at the Park Attraction Sqr., fight it, quick save, load, rinse and repeat.
Dauntless Nicholas do you remember what chapter number and section is it that I can do the bunny statue? I finished route D already and unlocked chapter selection
Kuuukko I was asking about when will the bunny statue farm I will be able to use to gain exp. because I don’t know if I need to finished all the endings or something else. But I did it so, thanks
didnt even know about any of that i just found a door in the desert by pure chance and was really curious, at level 50 i managed to get to level 5 with hacking what outfit again? :p
march 2019 and this really helped me out, started at level 65 just as u suggested and hit level 90 in less than 30 minutes, popped some melee attack booster to try to awaken the bunny faster and it worked nicely since i didn't have to wait that long.
Diego Hevia I was frustrated that I missed out on the opportunity, and that I would have to grind it for hours just to get up a couple of levels. I come to find out that it's pretty easy with the boosters!
By the way, I'm not sure how many people are aware of it since I don't see anyone talking about it, similarly to the place in the desert that you can farm, there's also another in the copied city where the enemies have higher levels. It's a great place to farm if you're 60+, although if you want the items they drop, you better have a auto-pickup chip otherwise you'll constantly be prompted to retrieve of revive the many bodies that are on the floor.
@@ピンクのバラ-c1y yes, and i believe you can revisit the copied city at any point where the whole map is "open," so 7-1, and the chapters in 17 before you go into the tower. if you go towards where the alien ships were, where you fight adam and eve together, there's a side path with an elevator that will take you to the copied city.
In order to break the statue faster I recommend using the "blade" pod program fully charged when attacking. It cut my statue destruction time probably in half.
heres a tip for those who plan to do any exp farming for like 2 hours go fishing anywhere get like 200k gold go to the vendor that sells exp up chips buy like 60-90 of them then fuse them till you get like +6 and a +5 and +3-4 put all on and farm wherever you want for max exp gain
I only got to 90 but by the time I fought adam I was 95 and man..he got done talking and it looked like part of the cutscene. I ran towards him and stabbed him and it went straight into the cutscene where you stab him lmao. Literally got one shot. should've remembered to switch off of easy mode
yeah it made it too easy but I still enjoyed the game. It's not a glitch though. I don't know why it's the only respawning area and no reason otherwise to go there except that this place was purposefully made for players to grind on.
One chip loadout of all wep damage and ranged damage and one of all exp. Switch to xp before hacking. Alternate your pod cooldowns and keep cycling between them.
Dude.. before this I was grinding in the forest. Took me like 2 hours and was only at level 60. I went from level 60 to 99 in about 30 minutes. This is kinda broken 😂
You should be able to do this as 9S... Have you done the desert mission in 9S' story yet? If not then you probably need to do that first, and if you have then... maybe you need to progress a little bit more in 9S' story. Maybe at least past the Amusement Park boss?
Wanted to answer this in case anyone else is wondering. It’s the Type-4O Blade you get from Operator 21O’s questline, specifically the second part, called “Data Analysis Freak 2.”
I believe that it is just a big amount of damage, but it has been a while since I last tried it... I'd say just to be safe try to do as much damage as you can in as short an amount of time as you can. It'll get easier as your level increases.
Did they do another patch? I played Nier last year and was able to do this with no issues. But last week I popped Nier on again. I'd previously erased my data with the 'final' ending decision so I'm starting anew. After my fight with Adam, I saved as soon as I got a save signal and went back in to the cave and grinded a bit. However... when I died (I'm only at level 10 ATM... e_e) and tried to re-enter the cave I kept getting an 'Alert' message from my Pod. I can no longer go back in since 2B will automatically stop and turn around to leave. ;-; I'm wondering if they 'fixed' this area too? The good news, though, is you CAN re-enter this spot if you go through the other way (when you entered that area for the first time and encounter Adam). But it's a bit of a trip. e_e
This is a very good question. I've been wondering this myself based on some of the other comments we've gotten on this video more recently. Maybe they managed to patch some of this content once the game went out for a wider release? I'm glad you were able to get in using the other entrance though, even though it is a longer way around.
I've been playing through the game for the first time (currently going through the 9S story mode), and after that first fight with Adam as 2B I ventured back there later (after progressing through the story a bit more) and was able to access that arena through both routes with no problem.
Did they fix this farm? I'm level 67 with level 4 weapons and have been hitting the damn rabbit for over 3 minutes and nothing happens... Is there a specific chapter that this needs to be done in?
NM I finally got it to work. I did what DevUltraa suggested and used my attack based chip set to damage him and then he finally started to move then I swapped to my XP chip set to hack him.
Took nealy 20 minutes at level 55 to get the rabbit to move and it took 10-15 minutes to beat it. I became level 62 and then it took 5 or so minutes to get it to move and to beat.
To be honest I'm not sure if it has been patched since the xbox release. But if you are only level 28 you probably don't have enough power to wake the bunny up, no matter how much you hit it. You're going to want to grind up into the 50s/60s I think, which you can do in the desert, before you start trying to tackle the bunny to get to 99.
This whole thing just to lvl up sent me on a mission. Get drop rate up to get exp. Spend money to get drop rate up because the chips keep falling off the roller coaster. Farm money to get the drop rate up, to get the xp up, farm more money to fuse, can't fuse past lvl 5 because the valley robot never spawned for me.
I'm sorry to hear that. I can't say I've heard of that issue before... Unless this has been patched again then if you are a high enough level to awaken the bunny (around 65) and defeat it by hacking it then it should give you a solid chunk of exp... If that doesn't work at all then I suppose you could try defeating the rabbit by attacking it instead of hacking and see how much exp that will give you but that can take a lot longer to do.
It should be at the load option after you select Continue on the title screen and should also be accessible through the terminals in the game while you play. Hopefully this helps!
Before I watched this video, I used 2B to fight this fucker. And I was lvl 68 after finishing the game, and I had the strongest, maxed out weapons equipped, as well as maxed out pods. And in spite of this, it took 20 minutes of hacking and slashing to wake the statue up, and another HOUR to actually kill it. And I only gained ONE level for my trouble! What the hell?
Yeah the first part can be tough at a low level. It may be best to just play through at least the first ending before attempting it, unless you really want those levels that early on. One decent way to get through that area at a lower level is to turn your partner AI to an aggressive fighting mode so that they will run in and do most of the slashing while you run on the sidelines and shoot at the enemies. Hope it isn't too much of a hassle for you!
Hey Earl, I'm not quite sure what area it is you're trying to enter. Is it the amusement park area? I haven't gotten anything that pops up with an alert in that area so it might just be the point you're at in the game?
The pit hallow area where you were farming xp. You went in the back way where you escape from Adam. I had to go the long way around from the way you come in originally. I also found out that entering through the back must be subject to lvl because I tried again later and it let me in after I had gained about 5 lvls.
I don't gain any exp I looked before and after. Do you need to be within a certain level difference to get exp or something? The bots outside give me xp but not in the pit
I'm sorry I'm note sure what to say... I haven't experienced this issue before. You're right that it could be because of too extreme of a level difference though I can't see why they would do that... Perhaps if that doesn't work try progressing in the story a bit more before trying to grind.
oh i figured it out I just progressed with the story yeah until I was level 20 since I knew they were 38. then I went back and put her on auto and went to bed. woke up and I was level 90 lmao. auto evasion is insane! yeah level 10 is too big of a level difference. I dunno why either I mean that makes me wonder why they would make full on auto possible. Nier AUTOmata. Thanks!
I believe the Bunny awakens once you get it down to a certain amount of health (you need to take out about a 10th of its health) and since you're on such a low level compared to it (it is level 80), you're probably doing very little damage so it will take you a long time to awaken it.
