1. Going back to No.1 point, I became the most productive after finding my ex boyfriend cheating with his friend. And finished all the great and heavy books I had been constantly putting off for another time till that moment. good way to get life back on track. 👍🏾

3:35 "a couple of hours of thinking [about childhood traumas affecting us]" my boy, revisiting the memories of the past is to remember the decision taken, founded on the given reality. It ain't "thinking about the traumas of the past". It's: 1. Deciding to delve into the past, for the sake of the present and future 2. Recollecting the events 3. Judging them from the perspective of an adult, comparing them with the experiences heard from peers 4.putting self in the proper mindset, disconnecting, to an extent, from the present schedule. 5. Addressing the sensory emotions arising from it, and grounding the irrelevant ones 6. Taking in mind what you judge as right, and the average view of one's peers. 7. Adjusting the view of what you think as relevant to your own developmental experience 8. Collecting it all as actual, by the force of will 9. Applying the adjustment. All that while keeping the meditative state. I've lost the thought on the last one, though, hypothetically, it's possible to do it on your own, yet from all I've heard it can be done in a pair, or in a ritual, formal or shamanic. What is a given to a Nietzsche, isn't a walk in a park for the average guy, if at all possible. Cheers

I’ve been recently reading “When Nietzche Wept” which is an excellent book and it got me interested in Nietzche. I think you did a great job on this episode making the vision of Nietzche so clearly. To my knowledge it’s also so accurate especially the last part where you indicated the difference between him and the nihilists. Thank you for your content.

The philosophers that Nietzsche influenced are considered bigger fish than Nietzsche himself. Nietzsche was a pioneer and a revolutionary. His ideas live on in the philosophical thoughts of Freud, Adorno, Deleuze, Guattari, Foucault, Butler, Cioran and many more literal giants of modern philosophy. Read into them too and you may find more than enough Nietzschean thought.

when i think about intelligent people, i always jump into the negatives. how most people don't understand them, and maybe even fear and resent their ideas, how intellectual activities get you nowhere financially, and how there's no fame in it. but now that i understand Nietzsche's works a bit better, bro did not care. like straight up, personal wellbeing was damn near the last thing on dude's mind. what he cared about is putting his ideas out there for the world to see and analyze. there certainly were thoughts of fame and recognition, but those were fleeting tangents at best. his primary objective was sharing his thoughts, no matter how outlandish they were. while satisfying his ever-rampant need to stay true to himself. those who desire financial success, critical acclaim or social acceptance, arguably even just plain understanding from people, shouldn't even think about pursuing philosophy.

Nietzsche, had moments in his book that are simply brilliant. I find that he couldn't put it together, don't you find his books lacking in order, cohesiveness, and perhaps clarity? That is what I admire about Epicurus, he was able to put it all together, in a way that is visible even today when most of his writings are lost. Cheers

Pretty good video. You should lean into your dapper style. I would have liked a quick mention of those couple books hes read. I love how neitzche didnt turn to self pity. I am a pity party throwing sad boy. But i do it to avoid conflict with the world, you have to do something with all that potential energy. Im trying to learn to learn that aggression can be a good thing and make change and when to use it. But i hate hurting people. The toll it takes to even put a bully in their place and defend someone. It feels "right" but it doesnt feel "good" and many hours are spent in thought later of how and what could have been done to be better and am i still morally good. Just another paradox. Dont go hollow out there ladies and gents. ❤ be kind but i guess aggressively defend that kindness lol
