Once I went to a skatepark with like 2 small ramps and I was so nervous because some boys behind me were doing kick clips and heel clips and going down the big ramp while I couldn't even go through the small one (the two ramps had a huge difference btw lol

I'm rewatching this, because I haven't seen it in a while, and if only they knew what they would become, in just over 2 years, they would never believe it. honestly for me, I've found that the longer you look at it, the worse it gets. I was so scared to go down this roll in double the size of what I'm used to and I just suddenly did it and my body sort of naturally carried me down.

Yeah dropping in is the scariest thing for a beginner to learn but I have been skating since I was a kid & took the last few years off for work & I got back to it back to the basics & I still get nervous but my advice is just lean into it & let your front door do most of the work & it's all practice & I like skating bowls.

I remember standing on top of a small ramp and the feeling of nerves/uncertainty/fear/surreality was just insane. I did roll in after a while (it wouldn't even consider it a drop in) because it wasn't vert but man it didn't even feel like it was me doing it and then it was just over. It's a weird feeling.

Well in your defense smaller ramps like mini ramps that have barley have a coping is more dangerous cause if you bail on bigger ramps you are safe cause you slide but if you bail on mini ramps you hit the ground with a hard slam

I’ve been skating for 4 days. So far all i can do is turning and skating straight and I’m in the process of learning to Ollie. Seeing these kinds of videos not only inspires me but also makes me think, “oh damn... How am I ever going to be as good as that?”
