I can see Dennis making a return to Eastenders in the near future. There’s plenty of ways to get around the way he left. They could just say Dennis knew Johnny was gonna try and kill him so he wore a stab proof vest. So he faked his death in order to protect Sharon and the baby and get away from Walford. I like the whole “Like Father Like Son” concept similar to when Den Watts returned after 20 years. I think his character bowed out in 2005. I think Eastenders will bring him back for 2025 after he finishes his Casualty episodes. Would love to see him back though as he was one of the best characters Eastenders ever had. He’s the perfect actor to take over from Phil who’s getting old now. Come back Dennis!
@@leannefro9276 I know it would be great Leanne. Nigel himself was talking about it on a show recently and he seemed open to the idea, as long as they find a believable storyline. Eastenders can definitely make it work. Fingers crossed 🤞

They can't bring all the dead back all Zombies walking around Albert Square he died onscreen stabbed in the heart ridiculous when they bring dead people back in soaps anyway it doesn't happen in real life!
Like father like son… It definitely can be done and Dennis is the perfect character to take over from Phil Mitchell who’s getting old. Brilliant character
The difference with Den Watts coming back was nobody witnessed him die but with Dennis he literally died on screen from being stabbed in the heart the only way he could ever come back would be in some sort of flashback scene
Disagree. They could easily make a believable storyline. They could say he faked his death by wearing a stab proof vest, in order to protect Sharon and the baby, as he knew Johnny wanted to kill him. So he moved away from Walford. There’s always a way. Like father like son.
