Love Nigella's voice and her impeccable accent. Not to mention, drop-dead gorgeous. I'd wished I could be at least as bit as beautiful as she is (I know it's impossible ) 😘😘
@@robertedwards9055 did you saw that small piece of black rubber looks like a trap door inside the sink hole? That usually means there is a garbage disposal machine attached to the sink, all you need to do is just swipe all food disposal into the hole and it grinds them into fine pieces then flushed away with water... and of course dishwasher handles all the messy cookwares
It's so interesting to watch these early shows and see how natural and unaffected she was, but still engaging and absolutely beautiful. Not that we don't love the eye batting, perfectly coiffed glamazon in a fitted sweater incarnation of Nigella! She was MARVELOUS, darling! 😄😄😄 But it seems she's come full circle and returned to a softer, laid back vibe.
I don't think that using cocaine twice in her life constitutes a habit. Airplane pilots that use cocaine on a daily basis & use while flying is a bigger concern.
Nigella is one awesome chef! I love everything about her! There's no script or pretence - just pure awesome personality! I hope she makes more vids and shows us more of her recipes!
dianismore I’m guessing you already got your answer somewhere, but It’s heavy cream. I’ve made it with both heavy cream and half/half both ways were delicious!
I made this awhile ago. The child wasn't thrilled with the lemon so I omitted and added cubed ham steak and fresh peas. Now its a favorite, a pseudo carbonara. But I still love the lemon.
I've made Nigella's lemon pasta for years and it is wonderful...I roast cherry tomatoes & asparagus , shrimp while the pasta boils and it's a meal. Thanks Nigella
So glad Nigella is putting singular recipes on RU-vid. ive watched everything else, but unless I wrote down what episode (outside of going to her website) I have to search through the vids to find a recipe-- also, because she is so entertaining to watch. Hoping to make her jammon with black treacle for Christmas.
Thats a great and quick pasta dish if you're feeling peckish from a long day or just not in the mood to make too many dishes making an all out pasta dish. Love the lemon flavor idea.
I’ve made this dozens of times. It’s actually quite delicious and has become my weekly go-to when I’m hungry and don’t have ingredients for a more... healthy meal lol
My mum used to make this dish a lot when I was a teen, it was always one of my favourites! I just made a vegan version based on it with roasted walnuts on top, absolutely delicious 🥰
Have you seen her recipe where she soaks bread in milk and blitzes it with walnuts to make a sauce too? I bet that would be up your alley (just substitute plant milk)
Here's a lovely, charming, LADY ..... of the KITCHEN! ...... Nigella is pure, poetic justice! ....... Love, love her fluid, sassy, ...... culinary voice!
“Over lemoned” really took me out - I’m going to say to my family when I make this “I say darling, I seem to have over lemoned the sauce, would you please hand me the cheese?”
every time I look at a recipe of yours, I have a problem and I can't understand it. This is because, I cannot take my eyes from you and your wonderful accent. I needed to follow the film three times until I realized that that the recipe is really wonderful.

I just have to thank you. You är the persone to made me love cooking good food wen i was Younger. Thanks 👍🏼☺️ And of course i still love to cook god food 😅
You had me the minute you tossed those eggshells in the sink. Lol. All these youtube chefs trying to be all perfect and pristine. Seeing that one little move was a breath of fresh air.
Oh I missed you on TV. I use so many of your simple recipes. I especially love your chorizo shrimp denner party and chocolate mousse. So happy to see you!!!.
I love fettuccine alfredo, and this linguine looks every bit as good ! For some reason I am thinking of Turkish egg with Nigella's spicy butter sauce, sound good Nigella ?
Just made this for dinner, amazing. Tangy bright salt savory amazing. When I heard eggs and lemon and no cook I thought it wouldn't taste anywhere near good, boy was I wrong.
Vincenzo's Plate bought me here sure it's not the most authentic pasta Al limone but it still looks good. Plus I want to know how old this video really is and I noticed that old bulky iMac that's gotta be late 90's or early 2000's because man even back then and now Nigella still looks pretty good and I mean more than good I'm always amazed of how she looks and sounds.
The egg and cream part is quite special for this dish. You don't need to put eggs. You can get the sauce from the pasta water (starch) and butter. That's enough. What's missing is some herbs (parsley and / or mint leaves).
I think this is one of my favourite recipes of all time of Nigella's. It was also one of the first. Just looks so umptuous, yet simple. That old CRT screen certainly dates the video though lol.
