Once the government decides to take orderliness as a priority no matter the backlash that may follow, then things will be better. Take PH for example during the military time people were more organised and orderly. Then if you do anyhow you see anyhow, so people behave themselves. Now it's free for all to misbehave. So the more the population the more the disorganisation in Nigeria. Only places with less people feels livable in Nigeria.

If you can, check out Calabar- that city is the bomb- it was Nigeria's first capital before it was moved to Lagos then later Abuja Asaba in Delta state is another great place. If you are lucky, you might run into a Nollywood production cos they shoot a lot of movies there. Next time come prepared to spend at least 6 months in Nigeria cos so much to see and explore. Calabar was the capital of the South (which developed from the Niger Coast Protectorate), while Lokoja (and later Zungeru) was the capital of the North. And when the colony of Lagos was united with Southern Nigeria, the capital was taken from Calabar to Lagos while the capital of the North was moved from Zungeru to Kaduna. There was NEVER a time Calabar as the capital of the whole of Nigeria. Calabar was the capital of the Niger Coast Protectorate from 1893 to 1900 when it merged with Lagos. But prior to Calabar administrative role was the Royal Niger Company (RNC) which was based in Asaba and dates from 1886 and unlike Calabar which was mainly concerned with the coastal areas of Southern Nigeria, the RNC controlled much of Northern Nigeria and much of the South (along the Niger) making Asaba a more appropriate candidate of "Nigeria first capital"

After watching this video, I now know some of the cities which give Nigeria a bad record. Lagos people, please, do not get upset. The truth sometimes hurts .You have to improve quite a lot and catch up. Why can you not copy what the people of Uyo have achieved? Here we see a beautiful city in Akwa Ibom State. Very wide streets, very clean roadsides, trees everywhere, well -spaced institutions, manicured lawns, and so on, and so on. The city planners knew what they were doing. Uyo shows a totally different aspect of Nigeria. Lagos and Ibadan cannot compete. See, Uyo even thought to build a magnificent library for the public. Though, I find them at fault to have a separate VIP section in a public education premise. All citizens should be equal at education facilities. I assume that this place was built with tax payers’ money, or am I wrong? Kudos to the state administration, I think the people of this state are well educated. Otherwise, who thinks of a library? Akwa Ibom state can do very well with tourism, if they tried to market the destination well. My question is, why have they not done so already? They could earn a lot of dollars from the tourism industry. That would in turn create more employment. Then, the young people of the land would not need to go to foreign continents to be subjected to discrimination and other injustices.

Thank you to you African Tigress for showing them Nigeria from the lenses of a non-Nigerian. Though Nigeria has many problems, created by leadership, but it also has a lot to be grateful and hopeful for. Personally for me, being in diaspora now, your videos bring good memories of old times. I schooled in Calabar and this video brings back fun memories of the Calabar/Uyo axis. Calabar is another great city. My early adult/career life was in Port Harcourt and your video yesterday also brought back fun memories of my years in PH as we call it. I guess you'd need months, if not years to cover Nigeria but however much you can do, you're doing a great job.

@@thetravlogger9895 And I'd ask you to explain how the problems were created by everyone? And I'd further ask you how do you work together to fix anything with a corrupt leadership? Is it the people that made Nigerian leaders what they are....? I leave you to fill the blank. And you can say it's the leaders that were voted in, since I doubt you're a Nigerian. But if you're a Nigerian, you' should know how elections in Nigeria and the results go. Back to working together to fix things, I'd use one example, do you know how quickly the craziness on the roads will disappear if the government officers themselves obey the traffic laws and go with the traffic? When a governor's convoy can climb curbs, drive on the opposite lane, force motorist out of the road, does not obey the speed limit, what does such teach people about civility and respect for laws in their daily engagements?

Nigerians are famous for many things i wouldn't like to mention here. But let's just say our prisons here in the UK are filled with Nigerians. Same story in the US, South Africa, Dubai & many countries around the world... If your government are the problem then why did Huspuppy resort to crime in Dubai?
