Wow...hope u had a great experience. Nigeria is not perfect , we have a leadership problem, but we(the younger generation) is about to fix that. These ghanians don't get it, we r a generation of younger people who literarilly turned stones to bread, we made all of this happen out of nothing. No govt support, no excellent infrastructure, infact we r just begining to build the proper structure around the music industry that these our brothers(ghanians) are envying. The whole of Ghana is just about the population of Lagos state, which is one state out of 36 states. Do the know what it means to be a Wizkid or a burna boy or a Davido out of a population of about 200million? Its no gainsaying that if u r able to emerge from such stiff competition u can undoubtedly be amongs the best in the world. The world hasnt seen anything yet...lets just get this Leadership thing right, then you'll see the excellence that the Nigerian people have.

Im a Nigerian, Sorry to say that I don't agree with the title of this video. Nigeria is not your problem. No country is anybody's problem. Please let's stop thinking that. Nigeria has been singing their style for so long. They maintained the afro style but continue to upgrade to a more acceptable standards by the whole world. SO, if Ghana music must be great, it must find its roots and style and modernize the music.

These are the key take aways 1.The major challenge with Ghanian music is Ghanians themselves not the artist. They praise artist who copy/sounds from America, Jamaica or South Africa but they will put a knife to kill anyone that sounds Nigeria. 2.They are so protective about what they have that they rather prefer it dies than allow others tap into it. One can imagine what Ghanian artist will do if Afrobeats was not associated with Nigeria.

A lot of Ghanaians are very juvenile when approaching this subject. Nigerians see this as a business but Ghanaians look at this as opportunities for national jingoism.Music managers in Nigeria have more to gain by making GHANAIANS artist successful and global. That is more money on the table. America does not complain who comes to play in America, likewise Nigeria as long as music is good and everyone involved gets their cut.Ghanaians should latch on to Nigeria before they loose relevance. Do you know most well known artist in the US are Canadians?Celine Dion was in Quebec almost unknown until she learned to speak ENGLISH and moved to US. The rest is history. Learn to collaborate instead of these negative vibes.

@@solomonobihan9465 my brother you can find talents in every country..burnboy, wiz and davido are not the best in Nigeria, we have lots of underground mad talent in Nigeria and Ghana but Nigerian music cracked the code of packaging marketing, distribution and management..and I hope Ghana can tap into the market of afrobeat because they also have share in history of afrobeat

Ghana always likes to attach themselves to Nigeria's glory. It's like an ant taking a ride on an elephant. The elephant doesn't even know the ant exists.

Nigeria is a very open industry to anyone that comes in.. Savoie came, we accepted him, King promise came, we accepted him, the only time Black sherin came, he was also embraced. Ghanians should be coming frequently.. trust me, in Ghana, its mostly the Nigerians that go there that are also well known.. think about it

Since this is a Ghanaian own channel, i want to ask this question. Why do Ghanaians always like to challenge NIGERIA in everything? Can an antelope fight and kill a Lion? Please answer. It's cuz of that this pride, Ghanaian Music/movies remains in same spot, instead of learning, they busy beefing. If not for wrong choice of government, Nigeria competition should be the first world not African countries. Your guest spoke well🤝

It is not just with music, these Ghanaians do this with everything which is why they are always so quick to share bad about Nigeria and will reluctantly share the good news because it is trending on social media. They have a hate/hate relationship, they will consume Nigerian entertainment and music and use that to downgrade their fellow Ghanaians by comparing. The obsession with comparison is off the charts. Nigerians doing well triggers them, if they had a fourth of the success of the Nigerian music industry, we would not hear the last of it.

As an African I don't know if Ghana have a musician just the way Nigeria has. They should stop totally stop comparing their self with the giant of Africa in everything. They should look towards Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda not even south Africa. They are not even good in pidgin English talkless good in English language. Nigerians made a mistake of opening the eyes of the Ghanaians, what are the Ghanaian singing, chai
