As an American who traveled to Nigeria. Lagos Port Harcourt Delta state Abuja and anambra. I must say there is nothing like afro beats nigera music just make you feel good not taking away from nobody else. Nigerian music just take you there. Wahulller. Lol
Wow...hope u had a great experience. Nigeria is not perfect , we have a leadership problem, but we(the younger generation) is about to fix that. These ghanians don't get it, we r a generation of younger people who literarilly turned stones to bread, we made all of this happen out of nothing. No govt support, no excellent infrastructure, infact we r just begining to build the proper structure around the music industry that these our brothers(ghanians) are envying. The whole of Ghana is just about the population of Lagos state, which is one state out of 36 states. Do the know what it means to be a Wizkid or a burna boy or a Davido out of a population of about 200million? Its no gainsaying that if u r able to emerge from such stiff competition u can undoubtedly be amongs the best in the world. The world hasnt seen anything yet...lets just get this Leadership thing right, then you'll see the excellence that the Nigerian people have.
@@Gagzicool I been traveling back and forth from America to nija for years now. And I always enjoy my self. I enjoy the people and the food. I'm a foodie so the Banga Afang and egusie soup. Alone will always keep me coming back lol. But yes I have friends there. I'm actually going back next week
Very intelligent guy with so much music knowledge. The truth is that, Nigeria is very open to visitors. No discrimination. Ask Gyakie, ask Black Sherrif, ask Sarkodie, they visit Nigeria very well, they know exactly how Nigerians are.
The Nigerian music industry is huge and powerful even American and British musicians have their eye on the Nigerian music industry. That is why some of us understood what a big deal it was for Sheriff to top charts in Nigeria.
Wisdom is be dished out. This guy knows the root cause of the Ghanaian music problems. They should leave Nigeria and Nigerians alone Sha. We have nothing against them. The cloud is big enough for everyone to fly
This guy is bless with wisdom he understands hw Music industry work, and I have been saying that Nigeria is the America of Africa but some of our Ghanaian brothers don't seem to accept it just look at Blacko with the influence of Oluwa burner.
Waooo, I need to clap for this guy, he understands the business of music and never afraid of saying it as it is. Big up Sammy for bringing him onboard. Well done again.
I’m only commenting because of this guy. Ghanaians can’t humble themselves to learn but we Nigerians we keep adapting. I remember plantasion boyz, Stylesplus, Psqare etc, 20 years of learning and adaptation but Ghanaians are too entitled to learn, they will continually be in the shadow of Nigeria almost in everything if that mindset doesn’t change. This guy is good
Im a Nigerian, Sorry to say that I don't agree with the title of this video. Nigeria is not your problem. No country is anybody's problem. Please let's stop thinking that. Nigeria has been singing their style for so long. They maintained the afro style but continue to upgrade to a more acceptable standards by the whole world. SO, if Ghana music must be great, it must find its roots and style and modernize the music.
The more they focus on their real or perceived problems, they will never grow. How can our next door neighbors be this obsessed about us in a negative way?
The guest did not say anything negative against Nigeria, in fact, he told the Ghanaian the bitter truth. I believe he frankly spoke out to his people. This headline is a bit mischievous. Thumbz up to the man👍
The simple fact about what’s affecting Ghanaians as a people most importantly their males is the hate and envy that’s is in their blood. They hate to see their fellow Ghanaians rising they will do whatever it takes to tear him down not to talk of someone who is not their own.Seriously they have a long way to go
Sammyflex, his crew and the entire entertainment stakeholders in ghana are particularly not happy about the success of Nigeria music. They are all trying to explain and re explain why Nigeria music is doing well. Even their artist went from saying fuck you Nigerians to singing like Nigerians.. I mean, it further prove how ghana has headache for the existence of Nigeria. There are 53 other African countries in Africa, but ghanaians has a special obsession with Nigerians.
Them dey waste their time. Nigeria is still winning. See the win recently at BET for the entire Afrobeats industry and as always,it was Nigeria bringing the gold home. So f*ck Sammyflex and his compatriots.
This guy and Camidoh's manager are my two favourite Ghanaians when it comes to talking about Music. They are both knowledgable and i can listen to them all day long. As a Nigerian, I've huge respect for them and I would love to sit them both come on Sammy Flex TV to talk more about Ghanaian Music Industry. I enjoyed this interview and i don't really want it to end...
Definitely appreciate the Ghanaian brother saying it as it is, Sammy Flex it’s good to be patriotic but it’s also good to face reality, your guest is definitely well grounded in what’s happening in the music world. 🇯🇲🇳🇬🇺🇸🇯🇲🇳🇬🇺🇸
Facts from this guy👋.. I watch kwame Eugene's interview on his media round in Nigeria, I laughed so hard😄 the guy was oozing ego and inferiority complex. You are in a place to sell your self, but your carriage is saying something insensitive. You cannot attract the success you despise.
Intellectual talk...Mr Sammy we need people like this in your studio to educate us more....not some people putting on black eyes glasses at night and still say nothing.. Respect Mr Sammy..
That guy is smart, I wish Ghanaian artist will listen to his advice. Am a Nigerian but that doesn't stop me from copying good things from Ghana or even Somalia if need be
These are the key take aways 1.The major challenge with Ghanian music is Ghanians themselves not the artist. They praise artist who copy/sounds from America, Jamaica or South Africa but they will put a knife to kill anyone that sounds Nigeria. 2.They are so protective about what they have that they rather prefer it dies than allow others tap into it. One can imagine what Ghanian artist will do if Afrobeats was not associated with Nigeria.
I respect our Nigerians journalist and our bloggers, they don't have time to sit down and debate which country is doing well musically..our greatness is speaking for us ,no matter the hate Africa belongs to us we rule ...
I am Ghanaian and have to agree with you on this one but he is the only one doing this This is my first time here time here and l went through his channel and almost all his videos are Ghana and Nigeria It is getting annoying. I think this not a channel for me .
@@eyram6424 Its a strategy, Nigeria has one of the highest internet use in Africa and its English speaking. He is deliberately targeting Nigerian views by using captions that will annoy Nigerians.
A lot of Ghanaians are very juvenile when approaching this subject. Nigerians see this as a business but Ghanaians look at this as opportunities for national jingoism.Music managers in Nigeria have more to gain by making GHANAIANS artist successful and global. That is more money on the table. America does not complain who comes to play in America, likewise Nigeria as long as music is good and everyone involved gets their cut.Ghanaians should latch on to Nigeria before they loose relevance. Do you know most well known artist in the US are Canadians?Celine Dion was in Quebec almost unknown until she learned to speak ENGLISH and moved to US. The rest is history. Learn to collaborate instead of these negative vibes.
One of the complaint I have. How can you copy America and there is no issues but when you copy a brother from Nigeria the whole of Ghana will come at you. So Ghana is the problem of Ghanaians. Look at how they made guys in a group to miss WizKid.
This dude is super intelligent and all his analysis and points hits the bull's eye. I wish GH music industry or the young artistes / managers listen to his opinions. why get lost in the jungle instead of simply following who know road?
This guy made a serious point, when Ghana brought azoto they don't really like people using it and it makes it go down easily. This guy really study the problem, Nigeria are not shy to learn from people and make success of it.
Azonto dance was from Ghana, the music was from Nigeria. Nigerians originally made that style music. Listen to classic Azonto music from Ghana and tell me if it sounds different from the style of music in Nigeria at that time.
@@MrSivram28 really I don't no much about the azonto, who created it hummm. Ghana need to learn how to make things open for the world to use. U don't create things and hide it to urself, how do u move forward.
@@samuelsaheed8941 exactly..when a Ghanian man do something, he thinks about only Ghana but when a Nigerian man does something, he thinks internationally
You can't unite with people that would like your downfall. That's actually unwise imho. In real life do you personally make friends with people that are offended by your success?
Disagree with you, Nigerian artistes should work with people that respect their craft and ready to work with them not just because they are Africans . Nigerians should go to visit countries in Africa that love them
Nigeria and Ghana are brothers, we have always supported each other in terms of music, I remember okukuseku of Ghana, there was a time Ghanaian high life was very prominent in Nigeria, and Nigerians loved the music unconditional . Pls our Ghanaian people should do the same now for Nigeria music, by and large we are one and should support each unconditionally
This is deep and well said, this fellow is loaded with music ideologies and if we follow his directives, it will open up more opportunities for Ghanaians artists and take them to bigger heights, in all, it will be win ! Win !! Win !!! For Africans 👏 👍 🙌 👌 ❤️
Ghana Is playing more of Jamaica SOUNDS than even their own original sound..they see Nigeria as there problem forgetting how Nigeria artists have been working hard over the years to take afrobeat where it is now...
Stop bringing other idiots to your programs. This is how to objectively analyze on a program. This guy is Dope. Keep this guy on your team. He is good. If you want to succeed.
This is the kind of person u should be bringing to ur show... Not all those ones that looks like they are always asleep.... knowledge lives in this guy
What's the thing that Nigeria took from Ghana? Ghana should please face their problems and stop mentioning Nigeria's name every time. This guy is intelligent though.
Your bloggers is the most annoying people on earth.tell them to stop using Ghana name to make money on RU-vid.if they don't have light in their country they should go to other country and be blogging over the with the country name not Ghana.we tire for you people
@@Divine_115 don't go there atall look at this crazy thing.do you know how your RU-vidrs have been disturbing us here?most of them are now in Ghana making money online poor you
@@upylil8657 come To Nigeria and start repairing shoe 👞 (cobbler), your fellow Ghanaian are here. IMF eyes on Ghana, ur suffering will reach it’s peak soon. So, give me one Naija RU-vidr name in Ghana or anywhere in the world using Ghana as RU-vid content?
The funny thing is that you wil not see al these hatred Ghanaian comment when you see their son saying lies but when it comes to d truth u will see their comment here hating like fire wood 🪵
Nigerians can take over everything worldly.... Even gospel music... Nigeria has the mileage in early wealth, population overflow, Language (English) They are all over the world in numbers and influenece, why must anyone wonder?.. America made Europeans franchises flourish, James Bond, italian pizza, etc.... Economic wealth drives the show. There's nothing like learning to overtake them or learning to achieve same.. Only time to properly meassure is putting their 11 against your 11, the outcome is the proper summary. Ratio logic
George Britton is a sharp guy 🤣 He deceived u all with 80/20 airplay but ran to Nigeria with his artist Camidoh to create a hit Sugarcane. U all should sit in ur Ghana n be feeling entitled. One cold beer🍺 for George Britton d sharp guy 🤣
Drake,Justin bieber, tory lanez etc are all Canadian artists but they tap in USA market for business..Ghanaian can learn from Canada and take advantage of Nigerian markets
@@henryemeka9527 I.e you know the rest of Africa doesn’t want to listen to crappy Ghana music so you want to use Nigeria to promote your crappy culture where all you do is copy others. Thanks but no thanks
@@solomonobihan9465 my brother you can find talents in every country..burnboy, wiz and davido are not the best in Nigeria, we have lots of underground mad talent in Nigeria and Ghana but Nigerian music cracked the code of packaging marketing, distribution and management..and I hope Ghana can tap into the market of afrobeat because they also have share in history of afrobeat
Ghana always likes to attach themselves to Nigeria's glory. It's like an ant taking a ride on an elephant. The elephant doesn't even know the ant exists.
Nigeria is a very open industry to anyone that comes in.. Savoie came, we accepted him, King promise came, we accepted him, the only time Black sherin came, he was also embraced. Ghanians should be coming frequently.. trust me, in Ghana, its mostly the Nigerians that go there that are also well known.. think about it
Sammy big up u...this guy finish all bring up more of such pipo and win the heart of my pipo sammy you will get bigger soon don't listen to side talk.....big up u...big up Africa
Since this is a Ghanaian own channel, i want to ask this question. Why do Ghanaians always like to challenge NIGERIA in everything? Can an antelope fight and kill a Lion? Please answer. It's cuz of that this pride, Ghanaian Music/movies remains in same spot, instead of learning, they busy beefing. If not for wrong choice of government, Nigeria competition should be the first world not African countries. Your guest spoke well🤝
If your music isn't good, they won't dance to it, learn to adopt to what is selling, look at amapiano today, we Nigerians took it and now we are the biggest in amapiano today
Ghanaian should learn from Canadians and tap into the growing Nigeria music industry stop the hate and move on the best selling Ghanaian artists right now did it with Nigerians help
It is not just with music, these Ghanaians do this with everything which is why they are always so quick to share bad about Nigeria and will reluctantly share the good news because it is trending on social media. They have a hate/hate relationship, they will consume Nigerian entertainment and music and use that to downgrade their fellow Ghanaians by comparing. The obsession with comparison is off the charts. Nigerians doing well triggers them, if they had a fourth of the success of the Nigerian music industry, we would not hear the last of it.
Another ghanaian music expert is been invited to tell ghanaians the nigerian music secret. All having issues with the Nigerian successes. Sorry ghanaians, you must continue taking it with a bag of salt.
Benin Kingdom have been doing highlife before Ghanaian people you people want to claim everything highlife is traditional genre of we the benins and both afrobeat and highlife is from Nigeria 🇳🇬
As an African I don't know if Ghana have a musician just the way Nigeria has. They should stop totally stop comparing their self with the giant of Africa in everything. They should look towards Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda not even south Africa. They are not even good in pidgin English talkless good in English language. Nigerians made a mistake of opening the eyes of the Ghanaians, what are the Ghanaian singing, chai
Why are Ghanaians such Good Haters?! Why does Nigerians Successes hurt thier feelings to the point of carrying a camera to Hate on Nigerians Success on YT! SMH The title of the video is ALL Wrong!
You lucky, was almost getting ready to push the dislike button 🛎(actually didn't know it was your platform, sammyflex, the headline cut my attention ) Anyways, I must confess, your guest is the most intelligent guest ever to feature on your podcast, unlike others making noise. Kudos to him.
We don't care about ghanians nor their silly ideas nigerian is on another level ghana leave us alone ....better still you can admit that you look unto us.
Sammy pls change this title... It's a bit childish and racist ... Ghana artists are good.. And Nigeria is the best in Africa musically...
