Nigeria Police Reps To Investigate Ongoing Dispute Between P S C , I G P 

he House of Representatives has urged the House Committees on Police to investigate the ongoing dispute between the Police Service Commission and the Inspector-General of Police.
The aim is to resolve the dispute that had arisen due to the ongoing police recruitment process without delay and report back to the House with recommendations within four weeks.
The House also urged the Federal Government to Provide adequate funding and resources for recruitment and training of police officers, Increase the number of personnel to be recruited, and ensure compliance with the federal character provisions in the 1999 Constitution.
This resolution followed a motion of urgent public importance by Hon. Mitema Obordor at plenary.
