Normally people criticize, thinking these pastors are using the money people giving for evangelization and needs of church. And they think using highly expensive private Jets are unnecessary expense. These are genuine reason and nobody answering them properly. Can you answer and clear these common doubts. And Abraham or Jacob become rich by their own hardwork trusting God. Here the situation is entirely different so avoid comparing with patriarchs.
True, they are reaping from their obedient to GOD’S work. Very few are able to follow, those criticising if told to leave their job and go preach the word of GOD will never agree
Interestingly all the patriarch you mentioned are in the old testament, before our Lord Jesus Christ laid downed the foundation for the new covenant. So, if you want to.make the correct analogy, then you should mentioned names like Apostles Peter, James, John and Paul who suffered for thr sake of the cross; it is immoral, wicked and vile for these charlatans to continue to enrich their pockets by preying on the weak and vulnerable. I have said it time and again that those who defend these so called men of God, fall into three categories; those who are the same as them, those who aspire to be like them, and the ignorant who are constantly being manipulated to part with their hard earned money. Money used to build school that they can't afford to send their children, money used to buy private jet in the name of "spreading" the gospels, money used to build mansions and luxury cars, money used to send their children to expensive schools and universities abroad. Mark my word, whatever a man sow, they will reap, not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of Heaven. God cannot be mocked.

Who say the churches don't pay tax?. Living faith church pays tax, and I believe so many incorporated does .. Besides churches even does government responsibilities....so what are we saying?
Why are you saying amassing wealth from tithe and suffering. Must Pastor suffer? Abegi, God doesn't make his people to suffer. God shall supply all needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Though I can't say about some pastors, but not everyone. God himself want his children to be wealthy. We also have some members that are stinkingly rich yet they dont involve in shady business.

A lot of people out there don't know that these men don't own church assets nor the tithes/offering ad don't use church funds for personal reasons. I grew up in the system and I understand how these things work.
If you think it is very easy to make money and be rich as a pastor just go and start one, When all this men were suffering nobody rated them then any ways I'm proud of them because my God is not a poor God so those that represents him cannot be poor, If pastor Adeboye is keeping the revenue of open heaven devotional alone to himself he should be making billions every year

Aiii that was that time , church cannot live analogue just because JESUS didn't have. In those day there wasn't even cars not to talk about jets. The Goespel of JESUS must be preached. I think we are getting it wrong in Nigeria on the role of religious leaders as demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ and the apostles in the Bible. Those wealth should be a common wealth for distribution and redistribution to the people according to their needs. Our role as pastors/leaders are to supervise the distribution to ensure equity, farness and justice. We are not expected to lay claim to this money or be in our personal custody. Read Acts 2: 42-47, Acts 4: 32-37 to get understanding of my argument. I am afraid if God will not query us we pastors claiming the wealth as our inheritance on judgement day

Many articles, documentary and so on has been using that figure. it's like saying Christ died 2000 years ago as a general quote when we know it is more than that. Before 2011 it was less than that. In 2018 it was 180 million. Today it's 200 million. If you did your research, you wouldn't have made your first comment at all. I`m surprise to hear that all of these pastors are loving money and wealth more than Jesus. They should sell everything and fallow Jesus. Why in hell some of them need 2 planes? As a psychology learner and study, I analyzed them very deep. , I can see that they want power and fame. Ashamed, people have no money and the pastors spend on gold and cars and women. This is the easies way to be rich in Africa. They are using God`s name for their good.

Two things... One, these servants of God has been in ministry for years o... take note of that. I remember when Nollywood started,but look at them today... that's life. Anything you do consistently usually grows over time. Secondly, these servants of God are good investors. They really invest and grow their investments over time. Why?! Because most of them come from very poor background and they went into investment as God leads them to generate generational wealth. As for the flashy life style, it is normal, even you moderator speaking here, you will do same, maybe even more...hehehe😂🤣👍🏾
What does this say of the church in Nigeria today: commerce-driven or love and evangelism-driven? Oh, what a privatised church and a commercialised Gospel! But the Lord will always have His remnant! Remember; those who are opposed to exposing evil are evil themselves, and need repentance lest they perish in evil.
