Sylvie is beautiful just like her mama!! So cute seeing her jump into your arms. I'm sorry her buyer had health problems but am tickled to get the chance to see her grow and mature. She's going to need a handsome boyfriend to match her beauty!! Thanks for another great video and good luck with the milk testing!! Stay safe!!!
Thank you Cindy! We are so excited about keeping her. She’s such a beauty and so much fun 😁 And thank you for naming her! Hopefully we can find a great boyfriend. Have a good weekend ~ J & J
Good choice keeping her she is absolutely gorgeous, I been watching your channel and loved that girl if I was close by I would have bought her but I live in Greece … little bit far..lol
So how are you all doing? I just found your channel and I have fallen in love with your goat babies. ❤ All the babies, big and small. You said that you stopped keeping your babies due to failing health. Just wondering how you are doing. ❤
Thank you for the nice feedback. We sold our herd this past fall (2023). I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September so I’m on a healing journey right now. I’m doing great and I feel very positive about my health and future. 🥰 ~ Josie
How many square feet is their pen and how many goats? So many goats are related in the Ozarks, how do you find an unrelated goat? This is my first year. Your goats are beautiful.
Thank you so much, we think they are beautiful too! 🥰 None of our goats are related (unless possibly way back in their lineage) except the ones born here. Three girls came from Illinois, one from New Mexico and our buck Apollo came from Texas. Our goat barn is 28 x 14 so 392 sq feet. It houses a milking room, 3 kidding stalls and a small common area. Attached to the barn is a 40 x 14 (560 sq ft) “patio” that is completely wired and predator proof. There is also a 14 x 12.5 ft covered feeding area that is open to the pasture and not predator proof. We have twin pastures that are 100 x 50 each. We rotate them 6 months on - 6 months off. The boys have a separate paddock and small building. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and commenting! ~ Josie
