Why are you people dragging us back to Egypt by spirit instead of going forward to the promise land, this is not a body of Christ do not call this church, you are free to name it anything but this is not a church my redemer died for..
I don’t see anything bad in what this man is doing ,infact I love him more now . There is no gain in spoiling each other religion .if we say what is doing is bad what should we say about pastors using Quran and bible to preach inside the church abi Alfa using bible and quantity to do waasi , why should we now condemn IFA ?God is 1
Many will be against syncretism but truth is, it also allows IFA to travel further and further, as well as reclaim Odùduwà s children who are still spiritually dormant, wrapped into other religions
The Diáspora in the Caribbean has been doing it for hundreds of years. Those over here is it Ifa first then Christianity. This looks more like Christianity first then Ifa. At the and id the day ashé is ashé.
For although they new God, they did not honor God as God or give thanks to him, but they became furtile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.... Roman's 1:21-32
John 14:6,,,jesus is the way, the truth and the life,,,no man cometh to the father except through me. Give your life to Jesus christ and you will be save Hallelujah to the most high God 🙌
There are so many things that we do not know about the first Christians...we cannot know 100%, but based on the DEEPEST things that Jesus said, I think he would be in accordance with so much of Ifa. Maybe I'm wrong, may God/Olodumare forgive if I am wrong. We can spin this so many ways, for example: If Jesus is part of the Trinity, then Jesus is a direct manifestation of God, then, "Ibikeji Olodumare" would still be fine with Christians because Orunmila is second to God, and Jesus is a manifestation of God. Of course, this is only ONE WAY that I see it, at the same time, I realize that other people may not like this idea. That's Ok, even among Yoruba there are many regional differences. The GOOD THING IS THAT IFA IS BEING TAUGHT, and with that, the GOOD THINGS OF JESUS ARE ALSO BEING TAUGHT. Alafia everyone.
People are getting a lot of things wrong here........Jesus And his entire life was almost the reason the Bible was composed of Gods promise to send a messiah in the old testament and how he prepared the people whom Jesus would live among, then the new testament fulfils Gods promise and gave knowledge of the fulfilment of Gods word in Jesus Christ. Now Jesus never condemned anybody neither would he have condemned the ifa worshippers. But one thing Jesus distinguished during his teachings was love and truth against the laws that men try to keep. He further emphasised truth, saying if anyone was for truth, that person was for him when he was taken to Pontus for questioning...... Now Pontus was an idol worshipper of the Roman imperial court. But he was thirsty for truth and pursued which Jesus Christ saw and was the major point of his gospel because even the high priest suppressed the truth because of their selfish interest while they were custodians of the law given to them by Moses, they even threatens to make Pontus lose his appointment with the roman emperor because he tried to stick with the truth. Now Jesus showed an example of the greatest love to all mankind because he still begged for his persecutors while he was dying saying they know not what they were doing........Now if you look into the stories of the Bible and those that God uses among others... Abraham loved his greedy brother and was truthful to God by obeying to kill his son as ordered by God because he knows the truth that he never thought he could have a son again but God assured him of being the father of nations, so he kind of knew that child belongs to him. And isn't that the truth to us all, but our parents try to act as they own us. Secondly, Joseph, the dreamer was sold into slavery by the ones he loved. There, he knew it was wrong for him to lay with another man's wife, and the truth was his father belief does not support such and if the reality gets known to the husband who was his master, he knew that would take his peace than give him pleasure, so he was falsely accused by the same woman and locked in the prison for being truthful to his master. There he got the perfect reward for being truthful and allowed to shine, he also didn't twist the pharaoh dream to get him out of trouble and place him in an honorary position but told the truth to the dream. Then he showed his wicked brothers, a kind of love most Christians would never exhibit or any religious person easily. Moses also was tested to love his people suffering over the ones that gave him the life of comfort, knowing the truth that he truly belong to his people, he gave up the comfort and took matters into his hand because he loved his people more than his royal life and peace. He went to live as a herder while tending to animals for his inlaw. All through the journey, he was in truth to his ungrateful people till he met his end. David the Goliath slayer also loved his people and his nation, even his flocks of sheep......also when saul sort to take his life and David had the opportunity to do so, he was loving and faithful to the anointing of the king supremacy over his chance to rule once and for all...........there's so much to talk about people who had an affair with God.......they were constantly truthful and loving, and whenever God saw they had backslide, he put them in their position also because you can't take advantage of God love......... Now the greatest odu in ifa and the head of all odu also emphasised on being peaceful, loving and truthful which is an attribute of Iwa Pele(humility) Jesus also practised Iwa Pele, during his entire life up till his persecution. So the cancel culture of the Bible is not necessary unless you're following the laws in it. But the gospel of Jesus is the crown of the Bible and it's simple and short......Truth and love. Any religion you choose to follow, be it African tradition or Hinduism or magick&witchcraft, etc........... if you don't love others and be truthful, you are going to be lost and will lose the ultimate spirituality because love and truth is the highest form of spirituality in all aspect and doctrines of every religion, and it's the only religion practised in heaven............also if you make research about the throne of heavens, love and truth are the highest and the seating place of God which the cherubim and seraphim carry........and demons, angel, archangel, principalities and nations etc......are all hierarchy thrones in the heavenly places. (PEACE BE UNTO EVERYONE AND SEEK THE TRUTH AND MAKE IT YOUR RELIGION WITH ABSOLUTE LOVE IN YOUR HEART,)
Good write up, but the first rule to effectiveness of all these is John 3:16, whosoever believe in Him. If you like, say the truth and love even more than Jesus did, if you do not believe in his finished work on the cross, I’m not sure you’re on the right path because He also said “I am the way, TRUTH, and life and no one comes to the Father except through me”. We need to be very careful about tradition. I’m also fan of promoting our culture, but we need to draw the line between some aspects of culture, especially as they relate to spirituality. The same tradition has held many generations captive for centuries and they still stick to those old ways in the name of promoting culture. If you believe in the Bible and God almighty decided to show himself to an hebrew Abraham to extent of promising to save the whole world through His seed (Jesus), then damn every other spiritual practices. He is the sovereign God and that’s his choice, we should align. If anyone doesn’t believe that could have truly happened and such a one still claims to be Christian, then he/she should reconsider his/her status of belief in one almighty God, he/she may be practicing something other than theism.
@@zekkyful brethren, thanks for the thought shared and enlightenment........in today society where people have access to multiple religions and doctrines, one thing that's significant is, no religious mentor or character is more suitable for a mentor, than the person of Jesus.....he was none materialistic and never judge anymore or showed hatred, nor instigate any war or violence with his teachings and mentorship......some religious leaders and mentors were mostly warriors and zealous crusaders. But Jesus lived a life of humility with selflessness. ......so it's enough for one to submit himself to his teachings... But when we talk about Jesus, it's not enough for a Christian to just see Jesus as a religious or spiritual figure. Or see him for his divinity and holiness. When you look deeper and make your research about the personality and works of Jesus, he was a respected, teacher. Some noble scholars even describe his teachings as a great piece of philosophy. More because, out of over 50 or almost 50 parables in the new testernment, The three years ministry of Jesus gospel was extensively involved in the explicit usage of parables in his teachings and this was something that captivated most of his followers, not even the miracles he performed.........he was greatly envied for his psychological way of passing the philosophy of his message to others for easier understanding. Jesus wasn't just spiritual, he was a great philosopher and a great user do parables.......so when you or anybody talks about what he says, or what people said he says, we should be logical because this man Jesus spoke more in parables trough out his teachings........and he didn't just say he was the way to the father, he also said a man needs to be born again. So when you put some of this things into contrast, the most practical approach for anyone who calls himself Christ like, is to 1st emulate his ideology or philosophy. Such as loving others as your self, which he extensively used parables to explain it's essence........another thing is, an average person lies more than 50 times a day. Jesus was'nt also a liar. HERE'S ARE SOME OF JESUS TEACHINGS AND HIS USES OF PARABLES (Bible verse from New International Version) Love for Enemies(A) 27 “But to you who are listening, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,(B) 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. (C) 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.(D) 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. (E) 32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? (F) Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? (G) Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them,(H) and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children(I) of the Highest,(J) because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful,(K) just as your Father(L) is merciful...... So to believe in Jesus, I believe is the first step for any Christian to able to follow his mentorship.........but the most practical approach and way to God is to practice truth and love as a religion rather than the doctrines offered in monotheistic faiths. Imagine a world where you can believe everything you're being told because nobody will try to lie or be deceitful to you, imagine a world where you will never be scared to worried about people hating you for your mistakes or ignorance about the facts. It sounds like almost a life that we can only experience in heaven because, nobody here on earth is completely truthful and ready to love you for all the good and bad reasons..............Peace Be With You and truly, Jesus is the ultimate mentor

@@zekkyful thanks and am truly flattered.......God has a constant way of teaching us all when we seek wisdom......and he hasn't left any generation or people out of the grace of knowing truth........so throughout all corners of life and most of the popular religions that exist, such as Christianity Buddhism Islam Judaism Hinduism Sikhism Jainism Shinto Taoism Confucianism Zoroastrianism Rastafari Atheism Chinese folk religion Cao Đài Unitarian Universalism Catholicism Lutheranism Anglicanism Traditional African religions Modern Paganism Protestantism Wicca the most supreme doctrine or the highest level of spirituality anyone can posses, that I have found in my research from all the religions, are amazing (Love and truth). Yorubas like he said are Alabosi. Most that go to churches and mosques still go for IFA why pretentious society . He getting popular now before you know he is up there . Oduduwa agbe wAa 😭. Said my own
Was thinking he's a pastor until I heard the narrator say " in his church ". No true pastor preaches IFA...I'm aware of places of worship modelled after churches and what they do is IFA worship. This doesn't make it a church. The first time I saw something like that was at a place called MASIFA in Osun state Nigeria. Anyways, no one who have encountered true light reverts to lies and darkness. Another thing I gleaned is that it's becoming fashionable to use church settings to delude people. Howbeit, the Christian faith is not about dancing or church buildings BUT CHRIST JESUS and Him alone!!
@@GetaBetterLifeTV Kikikiki, advice? We have different depths as individuals and many of us have tasted both worlds to adjudge it darkness and lies. First your title was misleading. He isn't a pastor and I wonder why you didn't question his usage of "Solomon" or is Solomon a Yoruba name. Isn't that hypocrisy to you? Or is it a marketing strategy to reach the undiscerning? Those who saw raw IFA power renounced it to embrace the truth and you are here rejoicing at a man who is ashamed to practice IFA the way your ancestors did it..only to copy a style that you are quick to condemn. Friend, if you look at the video you posted and listen in, you'll understand why no objective Yoruba person would take your King Solomon serious.
What you don't understand, don't condemn it. Your own definition of Pastor is best known to you. Tell me what you do in your chosen religion that is different from what IFA followers do. Do you even know about the first generation of Christianity at all and how they worship? If your definition of Pastor is solely to how Christianity is being practiced in Nigeria, then you've missed it. I responded to your comment because of others who might be reading it not because you are justified.
@@GetaBetterLifeTV Friend, reading about your understanding about Christianity speaks volumes. I am not a "follow-follow" Christian who read history or those indecisive folks who believe they can mix their traditional religion with their Christian faith. To boot, the Christian faith is not a religion. Secondly, I agree one shouldn't talk about what one doesn't fully understand. If your video had been how to divine Odu IFA, I don't think many would be interested but you found a way to add Pastor (knowing that links it to the Church except you want to be dishonest) and you're now trying to redefine Pastor to accommodate your King Solomon... Don't you know that your leaders always speak against traditional religions like Ifa, the content of this video is a way of letting you know the beauty of Ifa. Are you trying to say white garment Christians are not Christians? Meanwhile, watch this video and explain what's going on in it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OxIxmCdQNKI.html
This would not bother me if they did not try to mix it with the Bible and Christianity. In John 14:6 Jesus said this about Himself, " I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except by me." Jesus is the way, not a way, He is the truth, not a truth, He is the life, not a life.
Christianity is Judaism and the story of Jesus christ, Islam is Judaism plus the birth and death of Jesus and Muhammed. Judaism is Jewish tradition practices and it stands alone. Every religion starts from the tradition of the people. Yoruba just needs to refine her traditional practices, bring modernisation as it being done in the Caribbean and Brazil.
The Bible says when Jesus christ was there is tree wise men come from the east to honor Jesus the roar ifa and comfarm that this Jesus and the Bible said they brought gift for for Jesus 'what are the gifts the Bible didn't tell us. Then you can use ur head from here I rest my opinion
Eyin ilaje church 🗣️ Eyin ma tun lagbara ooo... ilu Nigeria 😭 wa di eru jeje bayi o.. Oluwa Olorun Oba, ni leyin ohun kosi Olorun miran... E wo ni ti oba iro yio🕴️👈
It's quite unfortunately that we are in an era where people listen to what they wanted to hear rather than what God through His Holy Spirit have for them. For the Scripture says,"it has been placed before you to choose between Life & Death. And I stand as an Oracle of the Lord please choose Life!Jesus says,"I am the way,the truth and life..."Get it not twisted we are in the dispensation where people don't listen to right teaching,God is not an author of confusion, there are various ways people use to reach out to God,but the only way God Himself approves is through Jesus Christ!
"Christ" and "Belial" are both foreign colonizer concepts from the mythology of a culture that has no place in the spirituality of African People (we have our own Spirituality from our own African Ancestors that is much healthier than anything found in an Abrahamic myth book).
Excuse me! This is not like normal other churches, but this is ijo orunmila church. Pls get it right, for the fact that he is saying allelua or wearing sultana doesn't mean he is a Christian . We all know that there's orunmila church , that's why he's reading odu if, that's not bible. Our culture is different from religion.
You just expressed your own opinion. Try to get to know more about this man better and his teachings. He agrees that Bible, Quran and Odu Ifa are words of God. He has a church where he mostly preaches with the Bible not Ijo Orunmila.
Problem with most people is that they are too lazy to read and watch video in full , they read two lines and watch videos just two minute they give every message assumptions withion reading and understanding full context of it
HAA! IN THIS WORLD? OH JESUS, HELP YOUR GENUINE SERVANTS YO ILLUMINATE THIS WORLD MORE EFFECTIVELY THAN IT IS NOW. TOO MANY HAVE NOT KNOWN ANYTHING ABOUT THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD JESUS.
It is better to stand with Jesus or Ifa. Jesus is calling you to be saved today. Please sir /ma, the end of this is confusion and regret so leave this AWO and believe the gospel.
True hypocrisy...........So, if traditions could help you, there was no essence for Christ's coming... When you don't have a gross and strong spiritual syllabus, you resort to frivolities. This man surely does not know God You cannot mix God please 🤧
You can't serve God and mamorn , this guy misleading his followers, END TIME IS HERE, he say traditional book is bigger than Bible, why should we let Bible take place of traditional Absolutely he Wallows in self inflicted ignorance
Bible means collection of books. The meaning of Bible doesn't mean the book of God according to the definition. Bible was written by many people not direct words of God. In the new testament, the writer of the Bible quote Jesus words in some of their messages. Bible to the Jews and Christians in their land is their Traditional Book while Odu Ifa Messages from Orunmila are Traditional Messages now in book form to YORUBAS. Let's stop abusing our heritage please. I stand to be corrected.
If truly he is genuine about his message he should completely abandon the Christian faith and adopt Ifa religion. You cannot be in and out at the same time. This is hypocrisy.
I think this preacher need to speak to a psychiatrist and all those in his church Including the young innocent ones need deliverance. He is confused, you can't be in the church to serve 2 God and marmom. The Bible says lukewarmness, I will spit out, says the Lord ( Revelation 3:15-16) Your religion ni o, not mine. Your religion that you need to kill before serving your oracles/diety. I'm Yoruba but I will never bow down for those handmade gods that you need to kill birds, goats or sometimes humans to serve. I believe in God Almighty through Jesus Christ his son as I am also God's child. Nothing can change that.
Please youtuber, understand what CHURCH MEANS (IT SIMPLY MEANS BODY OF CHRIST) so any gathering that is not talking and glorifying JESUS CHRIST is never a church and can be a church irrespective of congregational settings. Ifa has no correlation to CHRIST JESUS. This is just preaching his belief in ifa.
Beginning of nxt year, the Lord will begin to deal with this kind of foolishness. God won't tolerate this nonsense after you you know the truth & yet giving the Glory due to God to little gods. Yahweh, the Lord of host pls defend your name from all those who wants to defile the Lord God of Isreal.
I’d like the poster of this video to answer the following questions: 1. Does Ifa have any doctrine of original sin at all? 2. Does Ifa have any doctrine about a plan of redemption, salvation and reconciliation? 3. Does Ifa have venerated martyrs? 4. Does Ifa have any doctrine of intrinsic evil? 5. From an Ifa perspective or even from Odu Ifa, when will sickness, poverty, affliction, suffering, weeping, death etc come to end and be no more? If you are unable to answer these questions, I’d like you to contact the Woli so that he can answer them as straightforward as possible.
Obviously you got your knowledge from the religion you practice. Have you taken your time to study your own culture and traditions? You join foreigners to curse your origin while they promote theirs. Get yourself a copy of Odu Ifa book, then you'll find answers to your questions in the book.
That means you haven’t read the Odu Ifa. Ask any question from the scriptures that reveal Christ and I’ll answer you (without telling you to get a Bible). I have read the Odu Ifa and it is just a book of instructions. It will never save a man from sin and the doom of the wicked.
Christianity you practice in Nigeria is different from the origin. I can't argue with you because you know nothing about the religion you practice. You only follow what your leaders say not what's in the Bible.
@@GetaBetterLifeTV Are you still living in sin? Do you still find pleasure in evil? If your answer is yes, only Christ can release you from the power of sin and the consequences you still bear and the power of death. Back to Ifa, tell me the exact points from the 256 corpus of Odu Ifa that answer all my earlier questions
Odu Ifa preaches kindness more than any religion you can think of. Your questions are meaningless. You can't compare what your Bible preaches to the teachings of Ifa. There are many authors in your Bible with thousands of contradictions.
This person need to think well. Why did he call himself a pastor then? For people to listen to him? Why can't he call himself as oduifa or whatever so call? I'm a Yoruba to the call. Not in support of this. Christ is one all over the world. But other religions are differents all over the world. Please, think before preaching anything out. Just try to apply common sense as well, before sending a message out. All what he's doing now, is all written in the Holy Bible. They are all the false prophet, pastors, preachers, and etc, that the Bible has mentioned. Righteous ones please, beware. Deceiver, liar, thief and so on, he is. Why is he dressing like a pastor and saying all this? By their fruits we shall know them.
The maker of heaven and earth, and its fullness, at a time chose Israel as His own special people, the ones who received His precepts, will and laws for mankind. At a later time, He sent Jesus to make man understand His precepts, to make Himself the sacrifice for our sin, to reconcile man to God, to lead us back to the true God and to make us His children. He also came to give our souls rest from fruitless search for true worship. John 4.22-23 of the Holy Bible. The Bible reveals all these to us, and how do we accept the testimony of a man who discredits that Bible, and yet says he is proclaiming the word of that same God, is that not a contradiction? I wish he declares himself as being purely an Ifá priest, or purely an Imam or something else, but not mixing all together. No true Muslim will accept his message, neither will any true follower of Jesus Christ. So that means, THIS MAN HAS NO IDENTITY.
I can’t understand Yoruba but I don’t think you can mix it will bring confusion I left the church and embrace Ifa because I know it was before the slave master Bible which is used to enslave us mentally Fasola Sangokayode .
You are one of the hypocrites; so because he does something different from what your pastors do in the church is the reason for this denial. Tell me where Hallelujah is being chanted - mosque or Ifa shrine? You are seeing them wearing white garment, and you still shamefully wrote this comment. Omase o 😆
If you want to buy a copy of the Ifa Book he's reading from, watch this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yaewqYe4nxg.html Understanding the Concept of Yoruba Religion/Ifa Religion/Isese here: ru-vid.com/group/PLuCoG7L7T66DYxbV_Q2vL9iQ5jnElx7ux
You lack astute understanding of what Bible is, saying Bible is not the word God shows how bereft Your understanding is, so the odu of u claim to the yoruba book is word of God, who author the book, wen was it compiled who and who and where was it agreed upon that book is Yoruba book, who told u that, where is the ancient manuscript of the Your Yoruba books, where was it unanimously adopted as Yoruba book, for clarity Bible is words of God given to his prophets under divine inspiration, those who documented the scriptures did so under divine instructions, stay to your ifa and stay away from Bible, saying Bible is not words of God is utter balderdash and self serving in bid to massage your ego and enthuse odu ifa book dt u know less abt
Are you sure you are a Dr? Your reasoning is questionable. Can you tell me if Jesus wrote a book for you to read? Orunmila is equally a prophet as you claimed prophets wrote the Bible under the inspiration of God. Same way, Orunmila gave messages under the inspiration of God. You sound like our ancestors who sold us to the foreigners in the past. Simple question to you, what's the definition of the word Bible?
By the way, you sound like a deceiver. You could have commented under my original response to your comment. I only asked you to define the word Bible; didn't say Bible is not word of God. Any message that promote love, goodness and how to live a good life is a message of God. Since Bible teaches all of these; it is a book of God. But the definition of the word Bible means collection of books. Odu Ifa is equally messages of God because it teaches love, goodness and ways to live a good life. It is as simple as ABC.
