Well said! If Dangote and the rest want to tie prices to dollars, then encouraging local production of everything is of little or no use. He can't tie it to dollars, everything about our oil should be tied ONLY to Naira.
Provided the people remain ignorant, they will always exploit them. it is a good thing for the refinery to work, but for Nigerians to still buy it at same exorbitant rate, it means there's not much benefit in it for the Nigerian people after all.
@@sanusimuktar7862 Massive conscious enlightenment. Those who know and are angry with the masses are quick to forget that the majority of our people are illiterates and too uninformed to understand what's happening in their and the implications until it comes to their doorstep.
I have been an ardent follower of your podcast Seun and it's the first time I am disagreeiing with your views on social political issues! Why must our money tied to the dollar? Global East and South are disengaging from the dollar so why shouldn't the country too? Just as Femi Falana said , the sooner our economy is cut off from the Bretton woods the better for us all!
Now is getting there, only BRICS system will help that Factory called Nigeria out of the palava. More wisdom egbon mi❤. How can people be purchasing their land resources with foreign currency?
I thought you said the Dangote Refineries would not work. Now that it is working you are introducing your conditionalities! For your information, the arrangement for Dangote Refineries to buy Nigerian crude in naira has not yet started. It will start in October 2024. So the crude used to produce the fuel that the refineries have produced was bought in dollars.
Nice one boss ;see na you be our correct lecturer.,we nuh need no school to know something or anything cause even self school sabi lie but education na power shaa to explore and be intelligent but most schools don’t teach what we ought to learn about our nation and its very recent’s crisis rather we will be taught about whites man land and histories 🤦♂️
After typing a lengthy comment,I just delete am...we Nigerians are our own problem..not until we begin to elect leaders on the bases of credibility, and hold them accountable, produce and consume our own goods , we will only cry, sell properties, loose lives running to other country to do the things we won't do at home..we are too too blessed,to be crying hunger . .gas, crude, lithium, gold ,arable land etc..yet we dey suffer.
Dangote na scam na. nA so them barn importation of cement give dangote benue cement . Instead cement come expensive . Has dangote sugar drop the price of sugar. No . Dangote just dey hustle for himself
When I saw people crying for Dangote I laughed 😂😂😂. Naija people thought Dangote was crying for the betterment of the masses 😂😂😂. Since when has he looked out for the betterment of the country ? Nigerians please think. Always think before sentiment. Una think say Dangote send any of us. You will all learn 😂
When suffering don match with somebody's life for decades, you'll get use to it. Dangote na fulani a foreigner, They think he will change their life 😂😂😂😂, so sad.
Oil cannot be tied to the Naira period ! it is an internationally traded commodity with established price 24 hours a day. You can pay for it in Naira, that's your prerogative, but you'll pay the equivalent of the established price every time. Your suggestion is idealistic but but not realistic.
Emotions and feelings always put Nigerians in trouble. I will love to say may God help us, but at this point God don leave tire for Nigeria matter. SMH
No one man is running country. This statement is born out of laziness, ign0rance, d0cility and weakness. A working country is a country where everyone is a leader and not followers like you Batified, Obidient and Atikulates, Kwankwasiyas etc
Hear me out... When they said BINANCE was the reason why the dollar was appreciating against the NAIRA, they insisted on shutting down BINANCE, With this new info, should DANGOTE REFINERY NOT BE SHUTDOWN?
No mind them guy, dem don rush attend an evening crash-curse: Did they not say they where knowledged and equipped from start ? Did the first page not let them understand we trade in dollars?
@@liviasparks821you wey sense gum de worship and advocate for dollar when the US doesn’t give a flying hoot about you. Every sensible country is embracing BRICS to escape the dollar slavery but mumu people like you de shout upandan about dollar. Dollar kee una dia!
