Don't forget to add that these phrases assume different meanings based on their contextual usages... For instance, while 'na wao!' or 'na wa!' is an expression of shock and/or concern, 'na wa for john' simply means 'woe to john'.... And sam, she even sounded 'waka', as in the insult, better than you did😂😂😂

Waka can be said multiple ways 1. Waka - soft: "I dey waka go town" (I'm walking to town) 2. Wa ka - hard: "Wa ka!! (pronounced "wah kah") the stress is on each syllable. There's also a miniscule pause between both. It means the object/person of your attention should get lost. Immediately. 3. Waka - hard: pronounced similar to 2 above, but there is no miniscule pause in-between the syllables. It said with the palm of one or two hands spread out towards the object of your anger. It's similar to the insult "your mum"

waka is not used in that aggressive way. you can say - abag waka dey go - that can mean leave it or move on...thats about how harsh waka can be..

Oh boy, "waaka" as in cussing is totally different from "walka" as in walking to or trekking to a place. Two totally different pronunciations. Fun vid though 👍.

Waka (soft tone) = Walk Waka(angrily said with high tone) = F..k off,Beat it or get going. Waaka (with double'aa')= Cursing in Hausa language
