Nine teenage boys in the Nigerian city of Kaduna started experimenting with making sci-fi films in 2016.
They borrowed smartphones from family members, and made tripods out of wood.
Three years later, their first short film became a sensation, drawing the attention of millions of people, including Hollywood Stars.
The BBC’s Damilola Oduolowu met the young film-makers in Nigeria to hear their story.

USA makes the historically important movies - so most film talent is drawn to Hollywood = top film talent is EXCLUSIVE to America 🗽🗽🗽 But Sci Fi from anywhere is welcome - Sci Fi is good for the imagination = leads to technological progress ✈🚀🛸

The African continent would still be in the stone age technologically if the Colonisers didn't introduce European inventions and Science. Maybe due to increased interest in Sci Fi, will encourage more investment in Science in African Universities; and change the bleak outlook for the continent.

It was used to be, from Ancient Egypt and many more far developed countries in Africa are forgotten before they went downhill in modern era. They will be one of Superpower countries by now than America and China if they didn't become poor and corruption. The colonization in ancient era did just fucked up their whole continent forever
