@@faker8339 when artist is bad, he cant accept that he is actually bad. Instead he whould blame that he has bad matirials. In this case boys do cool films just with one smartphone and green sheet. Is because in a develop country production charges are way to much. you can get an actor or man in so much cheap cost in a undeveloped country. If you ask any American to work for 10$ per Day they're not gonna appreciate. And I'm not just saying this thing in the air i myself from an undeveloped country.
@@existenceworking1527 I suppose skills are something honed by practising (hence the dedication and passion etc), while talent is something you're find you're good at but there's not much growth unless practised as a skill?

Talent can't be limited by equipment. Legit i program currently with a computer that was given to me and i fixed it with a charger and a replacement keyboard total was 20 dollars for a working laptop. I got a normal screwdriver or people can use any flat surface. Currently im programming a game for my final exam grade. Equipment doesnt mean everything but rather the talent people have
@@butterman4091 In my opinion Better equipment just raises the skill ceiling It doesn't actually make your produce better Ofcourse this depends on the art With something like game design Yes Better hardware won't necessarily improve your skill But in something like film making Better hardware does matter a lot
If someone gives them good internet, a good video editor, a studio, no limit of 10 minutes and a good camera and computer and he will be earning millions,
I am impressed and proud of you all. Keep up the good work. God knows the children of Nigeria need to be encouraged to strive towards a better, meaningful and successful life. A good mentor and sponsor is all they need. Well done!

@@helgraf6976 by modern I mean anything from 2008 onwards. The low end of this generation onwards is compatible with all the current kernels, probably 2GHz +, at least 2 cores, 4 gigs of RAM and some dogshit videocard. That's not powerful, but it'll run cracked Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere, whatever. It's a pain to to heavy stuff in such a low power machine? Yes, and I can relate to that, but it's not impossible and for sure the main factor is time.
@@ImJugg if you want a film what he means buy equipment is a render farm, a studio, a red Hollywood camera, full Adobe sweet. A green screen and a laptop is basically a book and a pencil. Those are the bare minimum
@@ImJugg eh im 13 and have a 5-year-old MacBook a cracked version of adobe AE and Blender and a cheap greenscreen. together they cost about 600 dollars. the thing is it's almost impossible to make a good movie with a phone editor. what I consider a lot of equipment is like a RED camera and an rtx 3090 workstation and stuff. this is tbh like if you wanna make movies this is what you gotta have at least.
I want to give my absolute thanks to these people for being in he biggest inspiration to me. I am only turning 14 years old creating an experimental music video with atmospheric drone music made by me using my phone, and it is going very well. This video told me that I didn’t really need a lot of expensive equipment to get creative, or create at least something decent.
The title is wrong of you look at the thumbnail. It should be "Nigerian Teens Make Sci-fi Films with Broken Smartphone" Now that makes it twice as dope
Absolutely brilliant!! Far more imaginative than mindlessly cranking out half-hearted movies based on comic book characters, over and over! Hear that Hollywood?!?!
@@evanchong6482 Cut the BS. 🙄 Anyone with a functional limbs and a brain can make a simple short film, on any recent smartphones, during 1 weekend. ‘All the fame, none of the work’ seems to go for a lot of TikTokers. ‘F*ck creativity and originality, who needs it’ 😑
I was expecting some shitty CGI, but this is really impressive. Especially taking into consideration the budget and tools they used to achieve some of these scenes. Like wow

Saying gifted is disrespectful as they are hardworking one gets pissed if they perform better and anyone just says they are able to do this as they are gifted. Humble request ma'am delete this comment
The screen is just cracked, that will change nothing of the camera's resolution or quality, also the editing is done on a laptop like any other. This is what every amateur film maker would do without a expensive cam or props
FUN FACT: There is a lot of talented and intelligent people in 3rd world countries, it's just the government can't really support money to the people with high potential that's why first world countries mostly recognizable that makes them to be more creative in their own little way.
On others like mine the governments is too corrupt to be giving away money or help the people but using it for themselves and they only help the people if they are being hated or they want popularity
I had trouble believing that your equipment isn't what makes or breaks a film, because I only heard it from people who consider a 1500+ USD camera 'cheap'. Seeing this completely changed my perspective on what is possible. All it takes is something that records video, a green piece of fabric, something that runs an editing program, and most importantly, dedication. Everyone's talking about what they could do with a big budget. I think they missed the point of the video. You don't need a big budget to do amazing stuff. A larger budget might actually make it worse because they could start relying on the technology more, cutting off their creativity.
