A Short History:
"Night and Day" was written by Cole Porter for the 1932 broadway musical play The Gay Divorce with Fred Astaire as the vocalist. He would sing it again for the 1934 film version of the play renamed The Gay Divorcee. The song is considered part of the Great American Songbook, which is a canon of significant early-20th-century American jazz standards, popular songs and show tunes.

There's an error in the TAB for the video. Bar 5 is supposed to be an Abmaj7 (like the way I'm playing it) not an Amaj7 like the chord diagram shows. Thanks for catching this mistake @thiswillwork18

It looks like there's a mistake in the chords. The first chord is Ab but the second time around it's called out as A one fret up. The video shows it played as Ab both times. Am I reading the chord chart wrong?

Yeah not sure how that got there. It is supposed to be an Ab like the way I'm playing it. Thanks for catching that! I'll correct it on the PDF version. And I'll make a note in the comments section for the video.
