I have often wondered why little Carol Ann never made a return appearance. Bob & June were awesome reoccurring characters characters, but after this first episode, no one ever mentioned the little girl again.

I wish the Wheeler family came back for an episode in the new series.

I'd like to see the out take reel from the Wheeler episodes.😅

I remember how shocked I was when I realized that Lt Commander Data and Bob Wheeler were the same person! Kinda like seeing Robert Sean Leonard first as Claudio in "Much Ado About Nothing", then as James Wilson on "House, MD".

Watched the original, the judge's dad(John Astin) was a favorite. I still use the phrase: "But I'm feeling much better now." After two car accidents, covid, a broken leg, and ,more recently, a fall at work. Too bad nobody understands. 😏

For those wondering why Harry was in Heroic BSOD mode, it was because he had to rule against a woman and her son and evict them from the hotel they were staying at, with the son calling Harry a pig (something that would have gotten him thrown in contempt if Harry wasn't in such a good mood {more likely he didn't want to add to their problems}).

Brent Spiner and Annie O'Donnell ARE returning to Night Court. I was a teenager in the 80s when this show came out. It's where I got my sense of humor. As happy as I am to see the return of Brent and Annie, I have to be honest. This new series sucks. If you have never seen the original, you don't understand. Dan was born to be a prosecutor. He won 5 Emmy's (actually, he turned down the 5th one) for that role. To have him as a defense attorney doesn't fit. The show uses a laugh track, not a live audience like in the original. The cases they have are not like what Harry presided over (hookers, bag ladies, peeping toms). That is what made that series great. I tolerate this new version, but do not like it.
