Man, since I discovered the synthwave/chillwave I can't live without it

Since discovering synthwave, if the video thumbnail is pink and purple there is a 100% chance I'm clicking on it.

1:54am. The road is nearly empty as I speed away from the city. The loneliness isn't that bad as the synths begin to develop into virtual entities. The car is almost alive with light, sound and energy. The engine roars, the beats going in time with the road. I'm one with the night as I near the cool, high desert.

I don't want to be that guy, but this is 500 times better than anything I've heard on the radio lately.

Kids sleeping in the back, wife next to me, driving home from parents place through the late evening on the highway. All i could think of is to swap with one of the the boys in the back. Reminded me soo much of my childhood night drives with my parents back in early 90s

Just got my driving licence a couple of days ago and I can't wait to drive by myself at night while listening to this

Brings me so many memories, just grabbing the car at night in Vegas and drive random, nowhere and everywhere, thinking of yesterday´s and tomorrow at the same time, where you don´t need anyone, it´s just you and your thoughts, nobody else is needed. Feeling the wind at night while driving in that car, no words are needed, you even stumble across a nice view, from far away you manage to find the spot where you can take a look at the city, it´s breathtaking indeed, such a view can only be possible in a city that seems so magical. Each sigh feels amazing, you feel it´s an escape from your daily routine, a silent therapy where words are not that important, where nobody can judge you, where nobody can tell you nothing, not one damn thing, taking a deep breath, just admiring those lights and thinking to yourself, how can I be so damn lucky? Where even if I don´t have anything I feel so rich, the night, with this amazing feeling, where no one else is needed, just Me and my car, the lights of the city, lights which glow like if they were alive, small breezes at times and my thoughts and of course this incredible track...

Just imagine youre driving a 69 cabrio cadillac in miami or los angeles at night in 1983, and you start playing this mix. Thats the feeling of life. Edit: Yeah any car would be great guys lmao

I don't know why but synth and chillwave make me think of a really bright futuristic earth, where progress is always happening.

There's nothing like listening to this at 3:00 AM in the morning, lying rigged into your car, feeling nothing but the road beneath your wheels, the fluids running through the engine and the wind through your grille. Leaving the day and the sprawl behind.
