I get paid by hour and I'm not allowed to stay overtime. 8:00AM to 5:00PM is enough. My family is @ home waiting for me and nothing can compensate time. A lesson I have learned over these 19 years at this job.

To be honest the reason Juney is lethargic might have to do with the fact that she's in that room for long stretches of the day/night with no interaction or stimulation. As a kitten this would be the most critical time for her to have constant nurturing and her being isolated might be affecting her development.

At my last job, I would feel pressured to stay until the job got done, putting in overtime even when I didn't get paid for it. It was a horrible work-life balance. My work-from-home job now is SO much better and I can log off at 3:30 on the dot and not feel guilty.

I work 730 AM to 4 PM ; I clock out at exactly 4 and I don’t play ! I am hourly . I work my 40 hours and that’s it . I don’t work over time . After 230 -3 I am planning in my head my next paid time off day . 😆

Hey Rachel! I'm sad that the kitten is closed all day and it is not normal that she sleep all day! when the cat is a baby, they play all day so much and sleep as well, maybe she needs more stimulation. hope you find a new house for her too. Meanwhile try to take her out at least 2 times a day with the leash please!! 😘😘

I leave at 5 majority of the time but this is also cause I don’t really leave for a lunch break anymore. Sometimes anywhere between 5:00 and 5:10. I will arrive anywhere between 7:30 and 8 am. During busy season I stay til 6 or 7 and will come in to work at 6:30 or 7.

I can’t get overtime and I work a little earlier and later through the week then leave at 12 on fridays!! But I don’t get home til like 8pm cause I hit the gym as well. So I get the balance thing

On salary and definitely have learned during the time at my job how important it is for ME and my family to leave on time, most times myself staying over and 45 minute commute home sucks. So I’ve definitely prioritized myself and leave when my scheduled time is up

I always leave at 3:30 when I am meant to. I’m not salary (so glad I get overtime if necessary). The way I see it, my work steals my entire day, there’s no way in hell they’re getting more of my time.

Have you had an allergy test? I’m highly allergic to mold and my allergies spazz out in office buildings and our home!! I feel your pain, I have the same purifier and it’s seems to help!!

Hi Rachel! How are your allergies now? I had multiple pets in the house, my allergies would act up because of them, I brought the same brand you have off Amazon. It worked in one room but I definitely needed an extra one. It’s sucks being a animal lover who’s allergic to them as well. I love them too but to care. It might seem dumb to others but not to me. Nah, your cooking skills as gotten better it’s edible too eat, your doing good! Love the video!

Nope, I don't work overtime.. I have 2 kids and have to cook and stuff, so I always make sure to go home on time. However, sometimes I continue working on my lesson plans at night when I really need to.. (I'm a teacher). Love your vlog!!

My clients contract a certain percentage of my time so I can't work OT without approval. I do have some flexibility in when I work those hours. Pre-COVID I used to work 7:30 to 3:30, drive home and finish the day to avoid rush hour. Juney is so precious!! She will for sure find a home 💝

I leave right on the dot when my shift is over. I’m salary employee. M-F 8:30-4. The hours are great but I don’t stay for two reasons: for my own mental health I need to disconnect and my commute is ~40 mins and if I don’t leave on time I’ll get stuck in rush hour traffic. Plus where I work they don’t like it when you stay after hours. They make us go home which I appreciate because I know not everywhere is like that.

If necessary I do work overtime. I get a salary but if I work more than I have to, I can accumulate these hours and get it free when there is not much work to do.
