Happy Halloween! I wanted to celebrate this spooky time of year by posting a project I put together while attending MAGFest Laboratories (aka MAGLABS) in September of this year. My friend and collaborator Brian "Nautilus T Party" Diamond was visiting from Scotland, and I realized that this was a great opportunity to use his voice in a cover I've always wanted to do. Night in the Woods takes place around this time of year, and has some very spooky undertones to it--I figured it was the perfect choice for a Halloween cover!
There's a lot of great music in Night in the Woods, but Die Anywhere Else is easily my favorite track from the game. When I was a kid, I ALWAYS wanted to have a band. Watching Mae and her friends rock out in their band really brought me back to those years. I want to thank Brian, Ben Wallace, and Sam and Pete Bobinski for being the garage band I always wish I had. Special thanks to MAGLabs, Jamspace, and the Shizz for their appearances in this video.
