This band mistake to not be famous is to appear so early in the indie scene. They had all the music foundation like MacDeMarco and all the lo - fi vibe from today's music back in 2012
Just met these guys at the 331 club in MPLS on sunday night. They are the nicest most humble guys, and their show was free and amazing! Only cost me 2 Grain Belt beers and a Gin & Tonic! Can't go wrong with that deal!
Holly shit, I love KEXP but I accidentally found this, not even looking for this right now. I saw in another comment someone asking how he sings like that live. I have no Idea. Truly talented singer and great music, how is this not everywhere on the radio? I am not typically into this easy listening stuff but his voice is insane and the music is well composed. Great energy from these guys.
Heard their music for the first time yesterday, live at Ohana festival in Dana Point, California. Had no idea they existed. Loved their set. I’m a fan now.
I had them stuck in the back of my head since they played them the first time. Thanks god they played them again recently so I could find out there name
My band opened for the se guys about four or five years ago in Portland Maine. It was just as they were originally releasing Colored Emotions. I thought they were great that night and have been listening to this album and trying to turn people on to it ever since. Its great to have this footage of them performing as stuff is pretty sparse regarding these guys. Just as i remember them, awesome and original! Wish they would release some new stuff.
Great performers. I was expecting a band that couldn't match the quality of studio. I had only heard Colored Emotions but I'm pretty interested in them now.
I agree. I am glad they played the last song last. It does not display their complete talent. If that was all I heard out somewhere or on the radio I wouldn't have ever listened to them again. Doesn't grab you like the others. Amazing group, great music and energy.. Will be buying all their albums.
I saw Night Moves for first time in Toronto at the Opera House. Wow. Amazing music. Truly awesome. I had never heard them before and I keep listening. I keep hearing their songs in my head cause they are so good. They love music. No doubt about that.
must have been annoying with all the cameras in your grills at that time. but as a viewer i really appreciate it. saw you guys at the square lake festival after winning some guest tickets from 89.3. proud ya'll are from minneapolis
I wish I would buy a recorded version of this live set. This is a really good performance, but sadly, the album versions of all of these tracks lack much of the energy and emotion on display here. Happens a lot with live performances versus albums, I know. However, I feel like what's happening live really makes all of these songs truly great.
I agree. The band is amazing, and this live sound is unparalleled. I bouught the CD today (2/7/19), just because they're that good! "Colored Emotions" should've been played on major radio. Between that song and "Carl Sagan", this group can be (and Should be) propelled into y stardom-great sound, awesome guitar play and vocals!
Border on Border is not on their album, wtf?.Also, where do I get their lyrics, I;m always singing their songs and end up singing gibberish because their vocals are unintelligable.
