I had the pleasure of hearing Slam Stewart perform Flat Foot with Benny Goodman back in the early 70's. Fond memories and now hearing Slam do it. Great show. Thanks.
Night Music in a way was giving it's flowers to these great guests to perform in a studio. I know David is grinning ear to ear because he played with great musical talent of the day. 💐🌹🌸

Watching people play on music instruments? That is so passe and old. That's would the TV exec's will say. Notice all these current shows is all about singing.
@@dalemcilwain my point, music is around just not on mainstream media. In my day we had midnight special, wolfman Jack and so many shows. The music biz cut all that off. That was my point. I get you tho
at 23:16 you see Mark Knopfler smile at the bassist....there's nothing better for the soul like playing live! To be part of a group of world class musicians must be out of this world!
