I have an idea IF YOU CAN DO IT CHIEF MAKOi. Its about combining the vedio with a map. That will be nice so I don't have to look at the map while I'm enjoying the ride.
I just finished my 2nd year pre-med course. I quit as soon as I realized I don't wanna be a doctor anymore, and took a gap year bcoz of the pandemic. Now I'm determined to join a Maritime University next year! God Bless to all Filipino seafarers and to aspiring ones!
Appreciated the relevant geography and history where your ship is travelling. Those coasts have been important trade routes since the days that nobody sailed out of sight of the shore for fear of falling off the edge of the world.
Istanbul, the Dardanelles, the Aegean Sea, Xerces 1st.....! Not only informative but educational to the extent that I was transported back to a particular high school history class. Nicely done.
Hi, chief!!! You passed from the old world to the new world... From the West to the byzantines gate..!!! What a great history.. 29.05.1453....fall of the Great Byzant... And The rise of new one :turkish power...!!! I don't know if got the time to see the beauties of Istanbul (Constantinopol), but i can say is a must to visit... Safety first, chief!!! By the way... Constantza, Romania (my beautiful country) is a port also in the Black Sea!!! Once again, Safety First, Chief!!!
Thank you Chief MAKOi - I spend in Istambul one year 1984-85 and this place is more and more interesting they build even tunnel under Bosfor. I visit them in 2003 the Turks make another mile ahead. NICE MATERIAL and lights !
Hi Chief, I'm marine engineering student and youtuber from Çanakkale, watched all your videos, hope see you at any ports or ships, greetings from Canakkale
being a software developer i have nothing to do with shipping etc but am so addicted to your videos...your video making style is so awsome..i feel very calm while watching it..keep up the good work..my best wishes to you and your family
The Bosporus is a awesome place. Some of the waterfront mansions architecture is identical to the Victorian architecture here in Cape May where I'm from. I forget the whole story but the there was a love of the style and it was recreated there and they did a amazing job. On top of that there's an amazing palace and much more.
Your content and presentation is great as always Chief! But even more impressive is your camera and production work. Can really see the effort you put in, this is professional quality stuff IMHO. Massive respect for all you do
Beautiful scenery Chief Makoi going through that strait. I've stayed at the Four Seasons in Istanbul and watched the last bridge you went through change colour each night from the hotel. It was stunning, and it was great seeing what it was like from the sea. I hadn't realized there were three lit up and colourful bridges crossing the strait. It was a beautiful video.
I understand why you like it during night as it looks like traveling through a warp hole with all those Istanbul's lights and colorful bridges, just mesmerizing!! Thank you very much for this amazing video👍👍
Did the trip thru back over 42 years ago in the Navy, headed up to Constanta for a visit...so much to see during the day, but never got the history you provided! Thanks
I just found out this channel, and this is what you call content. The way you narrate all throughout the video, feels like I'm watching a documentary and tour. You got a sub chief!
A big salute Chief Makoi, I haved learned a lot of things about Marine Engineering thru your content and what is realy life when working in the ship in everyday bases. More power and content Chief, ingat po kayo, God bless po.🙌..
Wow!! Thanks for showing us this amazing historical and important geographic feature!!! Amazing video. Isn’t this world amazing!!!??!? Such tiny passages! But for these the Black Sea would be cutoff from the rest of the seas and oceans of the world.
Chief makoi i am enjoying your videos because it helps me to improve my english speaking and also while watching your video i am gaining new knowledge😇😇😇
The Turkish landmark you pointed out is also visited every year by 100`s of Australians on the 25th of April celebrating Anzac Day for the Australian soldiers lost in the battle at Gallipoli.
Anzac Day is not a celebration it's a Remembrance Day to commemorate sacrifices made by Australian and New Zealand soldiers also a lot of New Zealanders go to Gallipoli every year also
Makoi. You have made an amazing video here. Thanks for the history. I've seen where you are on a map and read history books, but you are living it and bringing it to life. Thank you.
Been subbed to you Chief when you still had 30k+ subs. I am always amazed by your videos as it offers a glimpse to the work of my cousins and uncles. I come from a family with many sailors and I was considering to be one as well 10 years ago but instead pursued a career in IT. Always amazed to see what could have been.
