Many celebrities from the time period are featured, including Lucille Ball, who introduced the segment, and Hal Linden, Michele Lee, and Nancy Dussault, who were the ringmasters. Also included are Dick Clark, Michael J. Fox, Bob Newhart, Kate Jackson, Linda Gray, John Forsythe, Linda Evans, Joan Collins, Diahann Carroll, and Anne Baxter, along with many others.

It is cute that Nancy Dussault, Michele Lee and Hal Linden did the skit here in Night of 100 Stars II because they did a skit together in the first Night of 100 Stars back in 1982.

I have this memory of David Letterman holding up a newspaper ad for this special on his old Late Night show and then telling this joke - You are the producer of Night of 100 Stars and you've just signed your 99th star then Eva and Zsa Zsa Gabor walk into your office. Do you hire Eva? Do you hire Zsa Zsa? Or do you change the name of your special to "Night of 99 Stars?
