I just can't help but add the lyrics to Yuko Tomita-愁雨(Grieving Rain)^^: From the sky A sudden shower comes down Onto this narrow path by the sea With nowhere to go I pack my love in my bag And I walk with slow steps For one more time From the distance I see two lovers' shadows swaying It feels like I've seen them before And they look like you and me I can still hear your voice As it said goodbye to me At the quiet Monochrome shore Only the white birds come into sight As the cold rain beats down An abandoned beach parasol I smile to our love That ended on that summer day I can still hear your voice As it said goodbye to me Why did I ever decide to come here? When all I can think about Is that day......
I am preparing for my upcoming college entrance exam. It's now 3:00 am here. Standing on terrace and looking at the night city below. Your collections r effectively relaxing me and giving me so much of retro vibes . Just loving it .My friends always make fun of me for having such taste in music but I like jazz, old school smoothing kind of music......Here all the roads r now empty. All the street lights r talking to each other.......Thank you :) ( Sorry for my bad English😊🙏) Edit 1: thank you guys for ur wishes.i successfully passed my clg entrance and currently pursuing medicine from one of the best institutes of our country. The journey was lonely, tiring but worthy. I'm happy and healthy. Sending ocean of love and hugs to you guys . Now looking at this old comment of mine, I feel so nostalgic and not to mention the music ..oh it's a pleasure to enjoy that , dear creator of this channel.
Nami, seriously, as someone who also curates this cultural gem that Citypop is and (related genres), i hope someday you can feel 10000% certainly the gratitude that we have for you, i really mean it. This is such a service for humanity that I can't even put in words, thank you deeply for everything!!!🙇💖💖
Thank you! I'm always glad that so many people share my interests in music. It's very good that so many people are able to appreciate all the beauty of this ^^
I've been listening to city pop for 7 years straight and listened to more than thounsands and thousands of songs, and I gotta say that this is one of the most unique and beautiful city pop playlist that I've heard
Thank you SO MUCH for making this amazing playlist. There are no overused songs, and you included my favorite artists like Omega Tribe, Kikuchi Momoko and Kanako Wada. It feels as if this playlist was made for me haha!! 💜💜 i hope you have an amazing day/night
this playlist is perfect, i loved listening to it at dawn, i hear a lot of city pop and a lot of songs are new to me, i loved it so much EU AMEI DEMAIS TODAS
my favorite one is the fifth one, i just love the ballad how much emotion is in it. The piano and synthesizer absolutely tops it off along with the singers beautiful voice. Made me cry and feel nostalgic :)
Please, click on traduction. I send you everybody a big hug and blessings. ❤🎸🎙️🎶🎶
@@nami7044 Not all places I've been actually. Only the ones I learned to love and respect in a very short time. For now though, I'll be sure to revisit your music uploads. Thanks again.
5:39 Lightning in my Heart is one of the best ballads i may have ever heard, even up there with some of the best american ones from the 80s-90s, only thing missing is a big emotional guitar solo.
Why on the song on 5:43 I see myself standing on the balcony either just gazing at the stars or just dreaming. It us a beautiful song🥰🥰😍😍. I also see two lovers drifting apart going their seperate ways and this song is the background music playing.
Along The Flow ~A flower falling into the stream~ In your cold eyes, the wind is as dry as the Sahara And your heart's breaking; you never even say you love me too I'm sure that deep inside your heart There's a loneliness you're hiding from me And that your love's like a raindrop, about to disappear into the sand (Missing Love) Along the flow with you (Passing Time) Swimming across the edge of time (Missing Love) As our pain grows stronger and stronger (Passing Time) We grow more and more silent Unraveling this thread tangled in my chest No one else can catch my heart quite like you But your dream of a faraway place has taken you away from me I wanna bower those burning days1 And hold them tight in both my arms Let me live in that sweet illusion, even if just for a moment (Missing Love) I want to be staring into your eyes (Passing Time) More than anybody else (Missing Love) And even if it ends up hurting me (Passing Time) as if I'm holding a red rose I want to be proud of our love one day (Missing Love) Along the flow with you (Passing Time) Swimming across the edge of time (Missing Love) I know how it's hurt me before (Passing Time) But my heart still asks for your love lyricstranslate.com As It Flows English translation
The first song is such an underrated gem by Yurie Kokubu! The production is seriously great, the vocals are amazing, and that guitar solo is killer, I LOVE listening to it!!!
Excuse me, can anybody please recommend some really SAD and DEPRESSING songs? 😥 The kind that not only makes you want to CRY, but also makes you NOT even want to go on living anymore... Any good suggestions out there?
Hello! It is better to avoid such destructive thoughts! After all, thoughts and desires tend to come true. There are many wonderful things in life! If they are not in the present, you can always look for them in the past^^
@@nami7044 Looking into the past can make it feel even more DEPRESSING... Nothing like a glowing memory of all the good happy things that you used to enjoy, but then overshadowed by a black cloud of doom over all of the things that you will NEVER have again! ☠💀☠
@@OtomoTenzi Life is cyclical and goes on constantly. Nothing lasts forever, so it’s important to appreciate the moments of the present! Don't be sad, find a good hobby. Swimming, good music and of course whiskey helps me xD
@@nami7044 Nami, thank you for reaching out to me when I was really down... I have discovered an old J-pop song that is very uplifting; it is called '悲しみにさよなら'. Please listen to it whenever you are also feeling down, it really helps!
Oh thos playlist is something special indeed. I don't say that lightly. These tracks have been moving me. The needle is definitely jumping! I'm a sucker for (power) ballads, synths, bass and strong emotional vocals
Yes, this is my favorite playlist^^ There is an ideological continuation of it> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e0OC_9rIoHc.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r8AY0P2NHHA.html
Here I am in Seattle 2023. A lonely, sad night in the city. Bright lights and tall buildings. Who lives inside these structures? Are they happy tonight? Yokohama, 1984. The love of my life is looking out the window on a similar night. Will we ever find a way to meet?
MAN all these songs bring me back to when a friend traped me in his dorm room and made me watch Ranma 1/2 and I couldnt put the crackpipe down. last I had me collection appraised for insurance was just over 318 K USD
Thank you! I'm glad that my classic videos are still watched. I have a lot of interesting and rare things from different decades = 1970s/1980s/1990s/2000s and even in different languages. Welcome to the world of City Pop^^
Hello! Video has nothing to do with music. In the description under the video after the song in brackets it is indicated from which anime / movie or just Art the background is used^^
City Pop в Корее и Японии - это уже традиционное направление музыки, со своими канонами и гармониями. И если во время прослушивания City Pop музыки у вас не возникает ощущения полета - это не City Pop. Спасибо за ваши раздачи и канал!
I'm with a fkin flue right now, suffering alone but anyways isnt that hard, I hope that everyone can have a nice meal, a warm house and a loving company
