The Daytime running light are much brighter now & the front turn signals too. The IFS wasn't so delicate as in Audi or Mercedes' digital lights, but it's goos overall for this segment.
Loved the review. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for this!.... This car is amazing in every aspect....except the rear turn signal placement which is so far down below and that makes it a safety hazard..a deal breaker for me.
I almost got the pre-facelift version when it first arrived, but had to hold out. I don't like the styling of others in this segment despite competitor reliability, but I think I'll look into this Tucson when it arrives here! Loved the icy asmr haha
@@Ricky-mo6mv my mechanic is adamant that I only get Japanese cars and while my current civic is reliable and has lasted me over a decade with tons of life left, it’s so boring and can’t do much inside the cabin! I’m ready for something chic with features I can see and touch especially for my next car.
@@binny_binbin I feel likewise. Life is too short for boring vehicles. I’d rather have one for less time that I enjoy inside and out, than have one for a long time that is merely a people mover. I lease a 2023 Tucson Limited and it’s amazing!
It didn't catch much traffic, but I got the idea. Every time it was a car in front, the lights was steady like it was in normal position. Thanks for the video !!
great video brother helped me so much to decide about their Headlight performance at night, as i was not satisfied with their new Verna's HL. Will book new Tucson.
So from what I saw, the IFS is kinda like a baby Matrix LED, unfortunately they added just a glimpse of the full functionality, they don't have adaptive cornering(the lights to go left right in the corners), from what I recognized they just have like 6-8 zones to turn off and on. Ok for me who I am an owner of the first gen PHEV NX4 bought last year, I am a little bit angry that they changed so much in this car, from lights, interior, even HUD(why we couldn't have this on the first gen but kona did) but I am happy about the fact that the engine, power train and batteries were left the same meaning they did a good job with that. What I expect is the price to increase significantly and not to be in that medium price segment of the compact SUVs.
5:28 is a perfect demonstration of it working. Basically almost perfect. I'm surein a more expensive vehicle they could have added even more lights for more precise matrix lighting.
The car is beautiful, there's no questioning that, but there's only one thing I don't understand, why they don't make the rear turn signals to be LED bulbs, but leave them as ordinary ones like lanterns?
It's nice to see it getting it with this facelift. Are the DRLs the new high beams if I understand correctly since they got brighter in the light demo? The new Sportage in Europe has had IFS this whole time. I'm not sure how good it is, but it was disappointing that the Tucson in Europe only got MFR LEDs, which are worse than the projectors for other markets.
Agree. It’s the one thing about my Tucson that disappointed me. I don’t think the DRLs are the high beam. They got brighter because all the other lights were turned off. That’s what happens with the current model. When the dipped headlights are active, the DRLs lower brightness.
It’s interesting you can drive with the 360 cameras on. Some of the intelligent light features are good. Not sure I light the smart high beam light. So very few situations where that is needed.
Smart high beams are for customers like me who live in a semi-rural areas with no street lights for miles. I live up in the hills outside a major metropolitan area. It can be difficult to turn on/off high beams while navigating winding turns. And, depending on the amount of oncoming traffic, sometimes a bit of a chore.
Are you in the market for 2025 Hyundai Tucson Facelift? Curious about what that IFS (Intelligent Front Light System is all about? Find out in this video! It was only IONIQ 6 that got the IFS up until now, even the all-new Santa Fe didn't get this tech! I am a genesis owner but they are now pricing out the average guy. I was very impressed with the 2025 Tucson Facelift. Do you know when we , here in the US, can start seeing this vehicle in the showroom and on the lot for test drives and sales? I am hoping they will be here by October 2024. And Thank you for your videos. They are very informative.
New to your channel. Thanks for the great videos on the facelift. Probably crazy for watching because I bought 24 Hybrid Ltd in early Sept. I'm a little envious of the new gear shift and dash display as they seem like a nice improvement. It's been so many years since I had the shifter on the steering wheel though it might be harder to adjust to than the buttons. 😉 I cringed while seeing the auto car wash, though. I'm obsessed with avoiding scratches on my Phantom Black.
Been ur follower in a while. And im liking it.. quick question. Does it have a diesel variant too? Im looking forward on that one. Hopefully soon in d Philippines.
Sweet video! I have a 2023 Tucson that I'm leasing, and I was gonna swap for a 2024 hybrid, but I think I"ll wait for the 2025.. I can't wait to see the 2025 N-Line. I have an N-Line now.
You wrote in the description: - Combined fuel economy: 12.5 mpg (2WD, 17-inch wheels) for the gas but for others it's km/l. Is that correct? That's only 5.31 km/l?
i hope that this will be available in the Philippine market. It is so nice. I am driving a 2018 tucson and i feel that it is time to updgrade. any sponsors, hehehe.
Hi, I have Tucson 2022 I have bought from the Hyundia branch here. I'd like to ask about the headlight in the night-driving time. I feel the light does not give enough long distance, as I barley can see the dark road from distance which 10 meters ahead. My question is it normal? or I need to adjust the headlight which I do not know how to make the light goes further to be able to see the dark road on the highway.
@carscenekorea what rpm is at 130-140 km? More than 3000 or less? I waithing for this car but little bit scare that will be worse than 2019 kia sportage
For some reason power folding mirrors are not available for the 2025 Tucson hybrid even on the highest trim level. Do you know a vendor that sells genuine Hyundai parts (in this case mirror motors, control switch, and interior trim piece) to U.S. customers? I understand modifications can void a new vehicle warranty, have done this before with another make/model, and am not concerned.
It's difficult to evaluate the quality of lighting system without personal experience. I'm driving Sonata DN8, the low beam is not wide enough, makes huge blind spot. Not as good as German cars, but a little better than Japanese cars and American cars. As for the high beam, I'd say it's only average. I'm looking forward to the control and lighting quality of the G80, and the high-class models should be better. 😂😂😂
@CarSceneKorea just checking that was the 2 Wheel Drive version right? If so how would you rate it for driving on ice and snow? Do you think it's worth choosing the 4WD instead?
If you get severe winter where you are, AWD always the answer no matter how great FWD is. However, slapping winter tires on is the first thing you want of course and this FWD Tucson can go places :)
You can if you want to with domestic model, someone left a comment saying that is possible for the US model, so I assume it’s not possible for other models?
Wish the 24 had that storage shelf in the dashboard and the power folding mirrors. Those are two features I think are really nice to have. When will this model make it to the US and will the US variant have these same features?
I got the 2025 Tucson. When I turn off the IFS and have the normal lights at night I see that the angle is way too low and cannot see too far away in front of me. Is this normal? In older cars there was a way to adjust the light angle manually but I could not find this in the 2025 version.
It would be very odd for the car, not to have the light angle adjustment. If you can go through the owners manual hopefully you’ll find the answer there.
@@chanzo7950 Oh. Overall I like them, especially with the refresh as they look less “wing-like.” Even as is, I think they look pretty fantastic during the day as just DRLs…especially against the dark colors. Once the headlights come on, the look doesn’t really work so well.
I have a 2022. Love it's wing lighted grill. DO NOT like this new grill and lights. Also DO NOT like the dash or center arm rest. It hasn't been 5 years and they've changed it ALREADY??? New model ABS sounds bad. The big dual camera screen is a distraction. The steering wheel looks to be "cheapened". Rear turn signals seem lower. SMH. When something looks good; changing so soon makes people wonder why.
What you talking about, intelligent head light are fitted to the current 2023 car has got you dont blind on coming car or people Walking, thats why it got led matrix lights fitted . The top of the range phev tucson in the uk comes fitted with led intelligent front light imchecked with my dealer as the spec sheet say it does and he confirmed it do he even took me to see the lower spect car with the projector type led. So it's not new . Do not like the steering wheel .
The only car that had IFS, which this Tucson has was IONIQ 6 from Hyundai. No other cars except Genesis had this tech thus far. You are confusing with the entire headlight high-beam turning on/off, not the IFS.
Has no one taught you to drive? I have never see such bad and dangerous driving. You do not cross your arms when turning the steering. There was zero feeding the wheel. you would not have a driving licence in the uk if you did on your test. You never ever cross your arms.
I thought the same, is the first thing they teach to you when you start driving, never cross your arms like that, you might loose control of the car. Be careful!
