Please keep in mind that Japan has a ton of different dialects so there are major regional differences. The phrases/words I teach are what we call "hyoujungo" standard Japanese that most people from Tokyo speak and that everyone across Japan understands.

You'll hear me talking a lot in Japanese as I teach English to my Japanese viewers. It just might help you with your Japanese listening skills!

Hi Chika I really enjoyed that. I’d love to see something on Hokkaido and Sapporo. That’s my next destination, so I’d really like to get a feel for the best places to visit when I’m there with my family.

That is so beautiful, Chika! Thanks for sharing this with us! Wish I could smell the fragrance of those beautiful blossoms. Is the fragrance good, like lilacs, or is there no fragrance at all? I love Springtime!

Glad to see you're taking care of yourself. It seems everybody is ready for winter to be over and are trying to get outside. But sakura viewing is definitely a great reason to make that extra effort! Is YoshidaMasaki publishing your book? I noticed you link to them in different places and I figured they must be your "agency". The one video link I followed was a bunch of guys in suits trying to be funny while you were there trying (I think) to be polite, lol. Well good luck with the books, I hope you got good 縁起物 this year!
@japanagos
@japanagos 9 лет назад
chargerfryar yup, that's the creative agency that helps me manage my sponsored work (contracts and things). The agency is helping out with admin stuff for the book, but I'm publishing it though an actual publisher :)

I've decided that Hanami in northern Ohio happens when the crab apple in our backyard is in bloom. We still have couple weeks to go. I like the idea of a festival that is rigidly fixed to the calender and happens when it happens.

that's so pretty when would you say is the best time to visit Japan ? Im just starting a new Carrier this year so I wont be able to make it but I just think that Japan has such beautiful flora and everything and I think I could manage with the type of Humidity that I have herd about Im living in central Missouri right now DONT ASK WHY LOL but the air gets so thick during summer I swear I could walk on it . So if I can survive summer here surly I can survive a week in Japan lol

Paul Thompson April is a great time to come! Fall is nice too :) We've managed to come up with a number of things to look forward to every season, but summers are still pretty miserable in terms of the heat and humidity ...

Chika!!! You probably recognize me by now because I'm always asking for updates and this is no different haha :) Anyway, I thought that maybe since it's quite hard to edit videos where you actually give us Japanese lessons, you could try vlogging...it might be easier editing...? I'm no youtuber so I wouldn't know! Whatever you do, I will keep watching! Keep working hard :D

hi chika-chan !! nice to meet you (実際会ってなくてメールやTextやTwitter等で初めましてってnice to meet youでいいのですか?それとももっといい言いまわしってあるのですか?) Did you already eat Sakura-mochi this year ? that's your favorite right . 花よりダンゴですね。 忙しそうですけど、これからも健康に気をつけて大いに活躍してください。
