Nightclubs Of Impunity Residents Of Milimani, Nairobi Complain Of Noisy Clubs Quiver Steak House Accused Of Playing Loud Music County & Nema Officers Accused Of Laxity
If you'll ban noise ban noise from any source clubs, bars, matatus, churches and mosques. Otherwise people will start asking what about the other people making noise
Misikiti hakuna makelele 😂😂 Wacha kundanganya it's a call of prayer na ni 1-2 mins. Na ya msikiti yaiwezi banwa ABADAN it will be there juu sio makelele vilabu ndio balaa😮
Night clubs should be built underground, whats the use of having them built on top of the ground when they don't need windows or natural light to make their money?
I have seen hapa people mention churches also but mbona mtu asi mention those mosques as well. I live close to 2 and it is a nightmare. An idiot shouting at the top of his lungs at 4am. Hii upuzi iangaliwe in our laws pia. Noise is noise 'religious' or not
Heri kelele ya muadhini inakaa for 20 mins kuliko disco ya kanisa yenye inakaa all day all night. What I can suggest to waislamu ni kupatia hio kazi kwa watu wakona sauti poa
Mosques don't make noise as you are trying to make it sound, which mosque plays loud music from morning to four including keshas? It is only a loudspeaker and it lasts less than 15 mins expect on Fridays!
@@ishmailnganga4425 My point wasn't churches vs mosques good sir. Noise is noise plain and simple. Explain/justify to me the need for someone to be shouting over a megaphone at 4am when it is dead silent and 90% of people are sleeping whether it lasts for 5mins or not
We have a serious noise pollution/insensitivity to blasting decibels type of problem in Kenya. People have no problem cranking music systems or speakers to level 15 it should be cracked down on. Especially traders riding through neighborhoods with massive speakers on their cars thinking the louder the message the higher the likelihood someone will buy their sh!t - me never. It's awful and primitive. Silence is golden: loud music and someone yelling into a P.A system in a neighborhood is like the latrine
Yessss...they're really wasting time on small things while the govt is busy selling us n the country. Can you imagine babies are now being "digitally chipped" all in the name of 'progress' courtesy of the president? Ebu wakenya waamke bana coz hii fight ni yetu sote. No one n I mean NO ONE is safe 😢
Who issues these nightclubs & rogue churches with license to operate in the neighborhoods? The useless EACC should also get censured for not following on corruption that abets this savage lawlessness. This laws & regulations are supposed to get enforced so to ensure there’s civility & harmonious livability within an urban environment. Sakaja should get impeached for failure to enforce the Noise pollution law, bylaws, zoning law & other Nairobi regulations. He simply cannot govern Nairobi.. Civilization is just a very difficult concept for Mwafrikas to adhere to.
We are surrounded by leadership college that does Sunday services one side.. Joshua generation church on the other, just ahead 4point sheraton, the dod mosque... wueh
Same thing in Kasarani close to car wash, claycity area in fact the club is wall to wall with a residential apartment and plays very loud music as early as 2pm till around 3am (Rancho bar). Very annoying and I pity the residents.
Yaani even proximity to State House offers no amount of protection, let alone it's against environmental laws to make that much noise pollution in a residential area? Says a lot about the ownership of that mad bar. Ama, it relocated from inside State House after the previous administration 😅.
The CEO of the quiver steak club should consult billionaire sonko the owner of the most magnificent and immaculate volume club at kilifi, well modernized sound proof 😅😂😅😂
What about these pple who make noise in day time when the usiku sacco are sleeping, they use home theatres, ed hoofers all day long in karen ed runda where we live, we can't sleep in daytime well🤔
so this is normal in Eastlands and all ghettos or low class living areas..its only special here because it is milimani...even the people in these places are equal....muwache mambo...eat the noise or vote wisely next time.
It's not that they should not operate, there should be a distinction of eatery and night club. Clubs should be required to be built in certain ways that noise can't disturb the local community. Eatery should not have loud music
I feel for that lady with triplets
We should learn from the writing, when such business is 'approved' in neighbourhood of those sensitive areas mentioned, then it suggests that the owner is well-connected, I wonder was is wrong in our country, where anyone can be above the law at discomfort of others because they are well-connected. Cool, piped music with surround entertains the ears, soothes the souls, cools the heart and relaxed the mind.
when you have a newborn that is giving you sleepless nights alafu mtu akupigie makele, si utachizi? kwanza huyu ako na more than 1, it's a miracle they have such calm. Churches and clubs zinafaa zitafutiwe mahali kama Dandora dumpsite wapeleke makelele chafu yao nahuko
MAGGDIV club too. Saturday and Sunday from 6pm to 6am. Do they even care about school children, small children and generally every one who needs their peace at night???? NEMA... is money changing hands?
Why is this even an issue? There are laws for this. There is something called NEMA and it only deploys when paid. For years and years and years we have had the same problem in coast. I was calling and calling and calling NEMA for years on a weekly basis. Nothing happened until COVID shut down the clubs an churches. And it has not been back to the same noise levels since. And not for the whole night.
But the residents should also understand that there premises are within the commercial zoned area , where such nature of businesses are allowed to operate with minimal restrictions
You obviously don’t live in a place with noise! There are legal limits. Which you can check on NEMAs website. And those limits are exceeded constantly - with absolute impunity. You know impunity? Impunity and Kenya.
@@abocas I grew up in a neighborhood that had clubs and churches all over the place na watu walikuwa wanalala unono bila complaints. If you can't handle the "noise" then move or mitigate it by soundproofing your house😂 sherehe lazima iendelee
@@itsTheTruthTeller you can’t be serious! There are noise level limits stipulated in the law. They are available on NEMAs website. Those limits are exceeded perpetually. That is called impunity, I believe But on a different note …. Why is the noise even necessary? I am assuming hat he must/sound is intended for the actual venue. Not the entire county. I have never, ever heard people complain that the noise in bars, music venues, churches, etc. is not loud enough. Never.
@@abocas just move to a place without any noises utakuwa sawa. Other than that sherehe lazima iendelee whether you like it or not. This is Kenya we do not follow laws or rules here the quicker you understand that the better your life will be bana. At this point the only noise I'm hearing is from people who are complaining😂😂😂
@@itsTheTruthTeller exactly! A lawless society which doesn’t make breaking laws okay! And surely, you sound like someone who was not living with excessive noise. So you can only be a part of the discussion from a principled point of view. And that seems to be defending lack of adherence to the law!
Why are the neighbours complaining na Ruto is deep asleep in state house...if the president can accommodate that noisy environment and sleep then the whole country can also enjoy the music peacefully
Why is this even an issue? There are laws for this. There is something called NEMA and it only deploys when paid. For years and years and years we have had the same problem in coast. I was calling and calling and calling NEMA for years on a weekly basis. Police as well. Nothing happened until COVID shut down the clubs an churches. And it has not been back to the same noise levels since. And not for the whole night. Now churches are the worst perpetrators.
