@@dolfi2008 Safe to say having to live inside a huge cramped metal box floating in the open sea while sharing space with hundreds if not thousands of other sailors is not exactly the most pleasant of experiences.
@@dolfi2008 Granted living conditions on surface vessels are better than submarines but this is submarines we're talking about, not really a high bar to pass.
That's the only reason I'm joining the military now - to become the top dog and then change every piece of propaganda possible into very cultured stuffs.
@@mr.monhon5179 There are already anime versions of official posters cropping up around my battalion’s HQ. For every one MSGT tears down, 2 more appear. And none of them are in any way violating regs, so no one can even pull the “NJP if you’re caught” intimidation trick.
Interestingly enough, japan does this unironically. The quite popular series G.A.T.E glorifies the JSDF in the anime is potrayed as a superior force using modern equipment and training to fight against magic romans who invade japan. in pretty much every engament the JSDF wipe the floor with the enemy, even against other nations special forces such as delta force. SAS and russian spetznaz All of this of course, payed for and funded by the JSDF who payed for two seasons of the anime, this of course had the desired effect of a large uptick in people signing up to the JSDF since its not a maditory service but a volentary one. So in a TLDR, yes, but there needs to be a significat culture around anime already

I like the Howard Chandler Christy tribute poster. Not sure on the James Montgomery Flagg one. Its interesting to see all the posters and artwork from the Great War, from selling war bonds, to enlistment efforts, to encouraging conservation to save food and supplies to the lads over there. Of course there were also rousing and damning posters meant to churn up resentment against the enemy.

It passes me off to no end that people use the incorrect song for the ARMY, it may have been caisson at one time but its literally called the ARMY song now. If y'all don't want to accept that then it's also ARMY AIR CORP, not U.S. AIR FORCE...
