I feel like this song delivers such a strong message. Even as a girl it's sometimes blatantly obvious to me how boys get the short stick in society when it comes to matters like this. There are still so many people around who think that boys aren't meant to cry or express emotions and that is such a toxic mindset, because once all that builds up then the following effect it has on their mental health will not be pretty. Absolutely love the song. Rosendale and Kirito never fail to deliver.

I'm a girl, but I always hated that phrase "Boys don't cry", it's nonsense, because boys have feelings and hence they cry. They have a right to. Their feelings are just as valid as ours. Also, no one (nor boys nor girls) are weak because we feel sad or cry. We are human beings and having feelings is normal. We shouldn't think (or teach) otherwise

I have a guy-friend raised in a home where he was taught that boys are meant to be tough and they don’t cry.. so he loved this girl so much, I was the first person he opened up to, he said he’s never felt like this before. Don't worry boys i as girl advice you to cry out loud when the pain becomes too heavy on heart it feels like it is cruching the heart and crying is the bestest solution for it. And we don't think you are weak it just that it makes us clear that you are really thoughtful and sensitive

All people feel sad it's just harder with guys cause they feel awkward or ashamed of it, so they try and hide it till their alone😢

It’s true us guys are taught to hide our feelings behind a mask and tbh it causes more pain and trust issues we cry in the shower so no one sees it feels like no one cares it hurts so much but it doesn’t matter we can’t remove the mask without feeling vulnerable

@@Faizan_Omar Yeah and life has been real tuff after I sent that. Someone I knew died and a pet died. I showed no emotion only shed tears when everyone was asleep.
