lyrics: you call me out upon the waters the great unknown where feet may fail and there I find you in the mystery in oceans deep My faith will stand and I will call upon your name and keep my eyes above the waves when ocean rise My soul will rest in your embrace for Im yours and you are mine your grace abounds in deepest waters your sovereign hand will be my guide where feet may fail and fear sorounds me you've never failed and you wont start now and I will call upon your name and keep my eyes above the waves when ocean rise My soul will rest in your embrace for Im yours and you are mine spirit lead me where my trust is without borders let me walk upon the waters whenever you would call me take me deeper than my feet could ever wander and my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my savior and I will call upon your name and keep my eyes above the waves when oceans rise My soul will rest in your embrace for Im yours and you are mine 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 EDIT:I hope you like the lyrics😊😊😊😊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊💙💙💙💙
@@unapologeticallypriscilla9220 Sorry I'm late, but the song is about Matthew 14 v22-33, of Peter being called by Jesus to walk on the water. The disciple did so, but temporarily lost faith and started to sink, so he was forced to call on Jesus to rescue him. According to Hillsong, it's, "about stepping into the unknown and a song about faith and trust. (not my own words). It's a very wonderful song especially for those going through hard times
Why do people say Oceans is by Paradise? Isn't it by Hillsong? It sounds way to much like the one by Hillsong, which makes me think that Paradise is either doing a cover or has called it their own song.
I think it's the meaning, lyrics the same, meaning different. As someone who was brought up with hillsong, I can say the song was originally written by them, but the song is like seven minues long (as is literally every other hillsong song lmao)
It's been awhile since I last heard this song it reminds me of when I was younger and dancing and singing to this song for a church thing I can't remember i love the song keep up the good work
I heard this song forever ago on another channel and instantly fell in love with the song but when I went back to listen to it again the person had deleted the video and I couldn't remember the name I just remembered it had something about an ocean in it Istg it took me an hour to find this song today so worth it this song is legit a whole mood
6 years long I didn't know this was a religious song, last week I attended a Christian wedding where the original song was sang without instrumental. I thought it sounded odly familair not listening to this song for at least 4 years. Today I found it back. Now I understood why it sounded so familair . It was this song without me knowing
