The Gospel: JESUS died for our sins on the cross, HE shed HIS holy, innocent , precious blood for us (HIS blood washes away ALL sins) HE was buried but on the third day GOD raised HIM from the dead. All you have to do to be saved is: Believe in JESUS, trust in HIS blood. JESUS did everything for you, no works are required for salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9)!!….
beautifull line but Jesus would vomit and reject every one who is holding cross and praying to his name under the flag of USA , largest enslaver and exploiter of human history,
I like it a lot better then the alternate version of that line which is "let us live to make men free". It's more a more powerful statement that good people should be self-sacrificing.
@@GM-uy3cm Dont do that. Dont try to force your religious beliefs onto strangers on the internet just to fuel on the anger and feeling of surpremacy that you get when people reject it.
@@Otaku155 There are actually many examples of it, Michael Wittman alone destroyed up to fourteen tanks and fifteen personnel carriers, along with two anti-tank guns, within the space of fifteen minutes.
@@assasinguy85 The anime is called Girls und Panzer. This is a fan art and not from the show though. It is not a long show (about 12 episodes I think) so its a fun and quick watch.
@@miko886 Yeah the Russians have a lot of old and good songs typically old folk lore based songs and such which make for excellent songs in my opinion.
Don't forget the tune that it was originally. John Brown's body lies a-moldering in the grave John Brown's body lies a-moldering in the grave John Brown's body lies a-moldering in the grave But his soul goes marching on The stars above in Heaven are looking kindly down The stars above in Heaven are looking kindly down The stars above in Heaven are looking kindly down On the grave of old John Brown Glory, Glory, Hallelujah Glory, Glory, Hallelujah Glory, Glory, Hallelujah His soul goes marching on He captured Harper's Ferry with his nineteen men so true He frightened old Virginia till she trembled through and through They hung him for a traitor, they themselves the traitor crew But his soul goes marching on Glory, Glory, Hallelujah Glory, Glory, Hallelujah Glory, Glory, Hallelujah His soul goes marching on
Mine eyes hath seen the glory of the coming of the Lord; He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword; His truth is marching on. Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His truth is marching on. I have seen Him in the watch fires of a hundred circling camps They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps; I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps; His day is marching on. I have read a fiery Gospel writ in burnished rows of steel; "As ye deal with My contemners, so with you My grace shall deal"; Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with His heel, Since God is marching on. He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat; He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat; Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet; Our God is marching on. In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me: As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free; While God is marching on. He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave, He is wisdom to the mighty, He is honor to the brave; So the world shall be His footstool, and the soul of wrong His slave, Our God is marching on.
I can really imagine Kay herself singing this, Dolly Parton-style. Whether as a patriotic song, a religious song, or just a casual listen, it’s a great rendition.

There is a very beautiful German version that was sung by German exilants in the Union Army. In 1848 Germany had its own failed revolution where the feudal forces crushed the revolution on 1849 forcing a lot of German liberals to flee to Amerika. When the war broke out, those German idealist who, saw the dynamic of slavery reminissent to the dynamic of aristocracy and feudalism volountered to fight for the Union. In the early days of the war when the south had beaten the Union Army at the bull run confederation forces tried to march towards Washington with only one German regiment commanded by Colonel Blenker standing in their way. Refrain
This upload was wierdly well timed considering the 'Battle hymn of the republic' I had in my playlist was taken down today...probably just a coincidence. But still... wierdly well timed
The fuck, why the hell would RU-vid take down a Song written by an ABOLITIONIST and that's mainly about Freedom, abolishing Slavery/segregation and standing up for those ideas and ideals? I know RU-vid is banning accounts and taking down videos that upload German marches (because muh hate speech) but REALLY? The fuck, RU-vid?
@@assasinguy85 We can rave and rant all we want but no one will listen if I recall what got them to vaguely listen is when pewds threatened to retire at some point or something similar, but at this point videos are being killed left right and center, lets face it any other site is better, dervolk was removed because of its name being german, their video of the Columbian anthem was removed but I can find an audio book of mein kamph (it showed up on my suggestion list one day for what ever reason)
The Girls Und Panzer art used in these are just amazing. I wish they would continue on with the series. I’d love to see a series on each of the schools and how they came to be.
Every time I listen too this I start to tear up and who ever is singing this has such an angelic voice and I think this is the only song that makes me tear up.
As a christian I was so surprised to hear this as I was going though your remixes. Praise the Lord. It doesn’t matter what nation you fight for, Jesus died for you. So powerful!
funny thing. is in Catholicism. The 'Lord' has a name. its Yahweh in Christianity. The 'Lord' has a name as well. its Yahweh. The Savior or the Messanger was named Jesus. in Jewdyesum. The 'Lord' has a name. and that one is Yahweh. The Profit or Messanger was Abraham. get this funny part too. Islamic? The Aramaic word for "God" in the language of Assyrian Christians is ʼĔlāhā, or Alaha. Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, use the word "Allah" to mean "God". Meaning. Allah word for god. the word was given to them by a variation of the Jewish language. with just a short connection. its safe to say. The 'Allah' is also... Yahweh. and Muhammad being the Profit or Messanger. ... and his mission apparently was to present and confirm the monotheistic teachings preached previously by Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. So... just like how the US and how all the military branches bicker and try to flex on one another... it doesnt matter whos better or not. theyre all the on the same team. theyre all appart of the US. and as for religion. who cares who the fuck the messenger is, did we get these fucking messages? and can we stop being jackholes and actually admit we all have the same god.
Keller weskier It is true we all know God but call Him by different names according to our native tongues. The message is also just as important as the who the messenger was. Also, I wonder, because there is an Ultimate (God), then is the an opposite or an enemy to the Ultimate. Nothing can be right if nothing is wrong. So I ask have you ever read the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis? It is a short read if you haven’t.
@Theblazehunter9 Indeed, far more easy to remember than basically "Flag no burn, so we still fight" One says why we fight the other what we're fighting for. That and people can actually sing them without blowing out my eardrums and ruining the whole song
Me, usually: "there must be an absolute separation between church and state." Lost causer: "the civil war was actually fought over states rights." Also me: *AS HE DIED TO MAKE MEN HOLY, LET US DIE TO MAKE MEN FREE.*

I imagine soliders after being relieved riding to the forward hostipal in shot up Blackhawks when the major, his voice broken from dehydration, begins to sing, and slowly through the whirring of blades, the men and women of the United States sing, their words light after a grave loss. The radioman at Hq unhooks his headset and lets it ring out, on the runway the tattered flag shines in evening light. As the glourious song draws closed, the gen. At hq casts on all channels "God bless the USA"
I can just imagine bored American tankers in ww2 driving towards Berlin and then someone start singing this and the next minute the whole division is singing it. Also great video. And great artwork. Did you make it?
There are two levels of beatings we issue. Lots of countries have gotten a Star Spangled ass whooping. Nobody survives the Beatdown Hymn of The Republic.
Idk, has anyone really, like truly EARNED it in a while? WWII is the last time it was exceedingly popular among the troops and saw widespread use outside of church. I mean, heck even in Iraq and Afghanistan those are more Star Spangled than Battle Hymn. I know the line exists, I just wonder what the criterion truly are.
@@davidthorp01 Well, I would tend to the cival war as the latest example of a battle hymn of the republic calibre conflict. I'm basing this on it being the last time the civilain populace was threatened during a war.

I know right? Most of the modern songs rush too much into some hyper thematic insanity or has to be extremely on the nose. This paces itself, and while a little on the nose in the original version, this edit is one of the more popular ones, and is one of the most frequently sang in churches around the country. G.I.s in WWII probably sang it, in their own way. Honestly, it’s probably born from a blend of faith, belief in a powerful ideal, and a mastery of pacing which truly puts the Battle Hymn of the Republic as among one of the greater remixed songs in American history. Right up there with the star spangled banner (check out when the American Rugby team plays it, it’s fucking glorious!) which of course was moreso based in poetry. And maybe Dixie, which honestly has seen a dozen remixes, (Union and Southern, along with post war clean ups and changes) removed from their original context. Still, love the song, if I ever had to go to war, I’d hum the Battle Hymn of the Republic with gusto.
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" I may not be religious, but it seemed apropos.

"As he died to make men holy, let us die to make men free". Such an inspiring lyric. A shame that in modern America "freedom" is defined only in terms of economic "freedoms" for the rich and big business.
