Tonight on Saturday I went to Hollywood to the Walk of fame to see what was going on in Hollywood as I’m riding along with my scooter I discover that there are more than six night clubs on Hollywood Boulevard I have not been in the nightclub scene for a while I was surprised how many clubs are open

Looks like people only under 25 years old are out and about / going to nightclubs. Very young crowds. Here in Prague, you get people up to their 40's and 50's still going out and rocking out. They probably don't do it every weekend, but they still go time to time.

@ItsStillRealToMe DamnIt Hmm I disagree lol, I think NPB is a pretty vibrant place, true there are a lot of retirees there but there is still a decent amount of young/night life mostly consists of successful people, low crime rate, entrepreneurial, nice establishments, MUCH classier people, conservative, etc... I lived there for 7 months and I loved it. I disagree about WeHo too, I believe right from La Brea all the way down to Doheny Dr has completely different vibe and demographics than what you'll find in Hollywood, people are more chill, relaxed, laid back, much less of that in your face "hip hop/rapper" crowd you find in Hollywood, etc... I've been living right in the middle of Hollywood for my entire life(31 years), I know the areas and demographics here very well lol But I'm cool if you see it differently, works with me 😇

I vacationed in Hollywood a few times throughout the 1990s and walking Hollywood & Sunset Blvd's day & night was so much fun. I hunted for screenplays so I would hit a bunch of script & poster shops. This was before the internet. One thing I noticed was how close Beverly Hills was to Hollywood. It is literally down the street! I actually ate dinner at Musso & Frank's. They had the best Laniase potatoes!

Shops in Hollywood during the 90’s and before were more interesting to peruse through. I enjoyed shopping for records, band t-shirts, sterling silver jewelry, and collectibles. There used to be a cool store near the corner of Hollywood and Vine that had all kinds of film reels and posters. You could also order photos of favorite scenes. It was certainly a one of a kind film shop.

I once went for a walk with a friend and forgot that I wasn't dressed nicely - when I tried to go into a bar for a drink, the guy wouldn't let us in, which is especially weird because my friend is a very cute lady, and I had been to that place several times before by myself. It can be fun, but yeah there's a certain poseur element involved with it all.

Also, in L.A. people will stand in line to get a hot dog. Lines are like a fixture of L.A. life - including long lines of traffic.
@jhhwild

@@myblacklab7 Yeah, I guess LA isn't the right place for me, I hate standing in line. I get restless and impatient and I feel like I could be doing better stuff with my time. Also I don't like dress codes, I'm probably not "cool" enough for one of those night clubs either. I've never been the type who knows the latest trends so I wouldn't even know what to wear. I grew up in Hollywood in he 1960's. My friend and I practically lived on the boulevard. We were up there every night. It sure had changed but I still feel the memories. I joined the Low Riders in the late 60's. We were proud of our clubs and rides. If you ask one of them to get a quick ride and a shout out to their club, it would be awesome to see you filming when they hop or 3 wheel. I would live to see your reaction. Just some ideas for youtube content.

When I got my first drivers license, my friends and I would go to hollywood on dec 25th and jan 1st. Why, because there was nothing on tv (30 years of christmas specials and the parade on every channel) and every place was closed but if you went to hollywood, there were many things to do. Not the same as today but it was fun during the 80s (hollywood was a dump back then and then there was that one 25th and a dead guy).
