Rich I know you've been commenting on where to go on your next journey, you mentioned isaan, great shout, if you really want to experience Thailand and how the majority of Thai people live it's a no brainer. My first time in Thailand was in 1993,(scary when I think that was 30 years ago)all in all probably spent 6 or 7 years in the country up until now, pattaya sois were all dirt tracks, went to koh samet and the electric finished at 8 o'clock at night, there was nothing there then(the good old days). I've been to phitchabon(probably not spelt correctly) in a place called bang san pang(again check spelling) I know in many places that you've visited you say they haven't seen western people, Richy I can assure you mate that the place I've mentioned hasn't. Rich the seanary is different class,the local markets are exactly that people bring there own produce from the small community's and it really is a family affair. These are the real Thai people ,maybe the poorest but I can honestly say they are the happiest

@@RichardStephens-mp7rc thanks Richard, unfortunately I’ve had to skip Isaan this time. I wanted to catch Buriram United match and stay in Isaan but my visa ran out the same day. Without a shadow of a doubt I will be there when I return in the new year. Just arrived in Cambodia then travelling a few counties before I get back for Xmas👍🏻

@@ParkinsonRaw it is I will be honest Gary knows loads about the wars I didn’t as much but since your vlogs I’ve read up on it what those poor men went through was heartbreaking. I think that’s one of the things Richard that should never be forgotten unfortunately some of the younger generation don’t have the interest and a lot of what happened will be forgotten 😢

I've seen piles of trainers being repaired and touched up in the Cambodian border market of Rong Kleua. The worry is that any second hand trainers you might buy in Thailand may be from a source like this, and might look good, but may not last. On the other hand, might be worth the risk if cheap

Yorkshire’s are a must, I’ve had many and no where comes close to the Tapas Thai. In a car or not the dogs love to bark at me, I’m used to it.
